Popular Post YaManSmevz
What's goin on, fellow spring cleaners? This week has kinda been more of the same, slow and steady. Most of my time continues to be monopolized by real life; work has refused to let up, and for those who don't know, non-gamer spouses don't always have infinite patience for this hobby of ours. Props to those with spouses AND children, I have no idea how you get any games done at all! Took a bit of a break and played Abzu, which is obscenely pleasant and relaxing, and frankly exactly what I needed. Don't know why I keep sleepin on these short-but-sweet indies, I should've learned my lesson the first time around with Ms. Finch. The love affair with Uncharted is nearing its end, and I'm definitely recharged and ready to polish off RE2. I've got the faith that next week is gonna be a strong one. Let's get it y'all✊ 1. Resident Evil 2 (97%) 2. Overcooked 2 (10%) 3. Final Fantasy 7 (5%) 4. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune Remastered (30-->90%) 5. Manhunt ✅ 6. Fallout 4 (2%) 7. Popular Post StilRh
Update time: Hi guys. Not made the progress I expected to this week. Things were going well with some Surviving Mars and Light Tracer progress but with the easing of local lockdown restrictions checking in on my elderly relatives was more of a priority so I've not sunk much time into gaming beyond that. I like to think this week will be the week I finish Light Tracer (some deja vu going on lol) and progress far into my other titles. I've also had a little windfall - seeing my mum for the first time in months, she gave me my Christmas presents she had posted to her, one of these was a PSN voucher so I treated myself to some games I've heard a lot about - Undermine and Disco Elysium. They are both lovely, not sure if I'll add them to my challenge pool yet. I do have 5 days off later on in the month I'll try and finish a game before adding more. This is the month with Nier and Returnal coming out and then my sights are on the next Subnautica and Resident Evil next month (after not buying new games for so long I feel I am splurging now). Have a great week! Popular Post Heather342
Update #6 So I thought I'd be playing Spirit of the North this bank holiday weekend, but I haven't got round to that yet. Instead I played a bit more of Assassin's Creed Revelations, and now have finished playing through the memory sequences for Ezio's story. The ending of the main story was weird, but then I never did fully understand the whole doomsday bit and Desmond being some kind of chosen one by the gods. The un-skipable credits that took about 20 minutes to roll through was a bit boring, but never mind. Trophy progress 36 --> 51%. I've been playing Cuphead again this evening, and I FINALLY managed to beat Dr Kahl's Robot ???!!!! The adrenaline is still going I think, but I'm so glad to get past that boss. No idea how I'll manage to A-rank everything and beat expert mode, but I'll cross that bridge when I get there lol! Trophy progress 27 --> 30%
Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
11th Update - Managed to finish the week with Platinum 172 - Persona 5 Strikers. It's a shame they didn't take into account the extra story content from Persona 5 Royal, but I'm guessing that might have had something to do with when the game was developed in relation to the P5Royal content being made. The grind was real with this one and the trophy to max out all Bond skills took quite a while. I ended up throwing on some old episodes of Deep Space 9 on Netflix to keep me company. I really enjoyed this game overall and it was really great to spend some time with the characters from the previous game, but after the chonky grind towards the end, i'm looking forward to moving onto another game now. Next up I'm planning on finishing 13 Sentinels and I think it might be time, finally, to dust off Yakuza 6. Although i'm currently being tempted by Outriders, so that might end up being a swap. Hope everyone had a nice weekend and take care Nioh Persona 5 Strikers Thimbleweed Park Yakuza 6: The Song of Life - 0% 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim - 0% > 32% Beyond Blue Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls - 0% Yakuza 7: Like a Dragon - 0% Spirit Hunter: NG - 0% Sakuna: of Rice and Ruin - 0% Edited April 4, 2021 by Crispy_Oglop
Popular Post SpacebarPlays
Small update for me. And I say small, as in it's only been a week since my last update Anyways. Started off the week by loading up and trying out Slime Rancher. A game I've had for months but just never got the urge to play. After completing Stardew Valley though, I gave it a shot and fell in love almost instantly. It's such a nice, chilled out game. Not difficult in the slightest. The music is really nice, the graphics are better than I was expecting but the little storyline bits added in made it fresh. Took me just under 3 days to get the platinum because it took me 4-5 tries of rush mode to get the trophy. Definitely a fun little game And then. I ended up somehow injuring my back stupidly so I've been bedridden for a few days. In that time I loaded up the Final Fantasy VII remake and got started. Im going to say that I played through FF7 15 years ago and I've completed it but I really don't enjoy the original. I was never that into the story and honestly it probably didn't even get in my top7 FF games, maybe even the top 10 haha. Anyways. It's brilliant. I freaking love it and the remake definitely hits my top5 FF games. I was originally sceptical about the whole multiple parts thing BUT im fully on board now. The extended backstory of all the characters and the little interactions between them made me love the characters and their stories. My biggest criticism of the game was I am a sucker for the old turn based style of the games. I love the strategy and just the way it was used. The first 5-10 hours of the game I was sorta having issues with the combat and not particularly enjoying it but once I unlocked my skills and stuff, it really clicked and im a fan now. The other criticism I have is that it takes ageeeeees to switch across Materia and especially for the hard run, you're basically doing it every other battle and at least half my hard run through was spent in the menus haha. Anyways. Did a lot more than I was expecting this week. Gonna probably run some Shadow of Mordor and/or AC Odyssey this week with some sorta Strategy game mixed in there. Slime Rancher: 0 -> 100% FF7 Remake: 0 -> 100% Hope everyone had a good easter weekend
Popular Post Hiyo_Rain
CSI Fatal Conspiracy – 0% -> 43% Amnesia: Memories – 1% -> 20% Life is Strange: Before the Storm – 0% -> 30% Destroy All Humans – 0% 2064: Read Only Memories – 47% -> 78% Update 4! Well, Life is Strange has finally been started. And I was right, I do hate it as much as I hated the first game. I kind of like Rachel’s character, but I’m still not a fan of Chloe, so playing as her for this game kinda really sucks. I only got to one episode this weekend due to needing to clean and feeling sick, but when my weekend falls is changing thanks to temporarily switching to overnights, so I’m at least going to have it done and out of my life soon. I made a little bit more progress in 2064. Most of what’s left is ending stuff, I can get some by save scumming but I do have to play another run too. I’m going to have to do that one on my PS4 instead of my Vita, though, as the Vita version is known to crash often and one of the trophies I have left is to play through the game in a single sitting. I also started the CSI game. I got it because I wanted to see how terribly inaccurate it is in comparison to the show. The game is slightly more accurate, but still pretty horrible compared to how things really are in the forensics field.

Popular Post HaserPL
#Update #181 Finally, after over two weeks of playing, I finished Sports Champions and I'm so fucking glad It's finally over. I was always curious why the plat is so rare, 0.50% gotta mean something right? And now I finally know lol, this game has one of the worst difficulty spikes I've ever encountered. 6 disciplines, each has 4 cups but thankfully you only need to win 3 per discipline. To say that Bronze Cup is easy is a major understatement. Even when reading a book/playing on my phone I was able to nail 99% of Bronze events. Silver is where the spikes start to show up. Not even during the final 'special' match, but simply somewhere down the path you will stumble across an event where you can be stuck for like an hour or two, but it's doable. Gold is where the fun begins lol, some of the matches looked like the AI had precognition abilities combined with aimbot. It was just a matter of trying until they make a mistake that you can exploit to win. The game itself was fun, I'm not gonna lie, I enjoyed the crap out of archery and volleyball, disc golf was also fun to play, but the platinum in this game can go fuck itself. So, with that out of the way, I'm sad to say that I will have to withdraw from the event. A couple of factors came to be, but the most notable one is Ubisoft shutting down servers on PC in a lot of their games, and as you all know Ubisoft isn't the most trustworthy company so I'd rather not take any chances and boost what I need to boost ASAP. I've borrowed a console from my friend and will self-boost like 7/8 games while I still can. Still gonna come by here every now and then and check up on y'all. Good luck to everyone and stay safe ;). Popular Post Hisuiryu
Week 5 Update Not much of an update this week as I've been fairly busy (and my partner has gotten me into WoW so that's hampered my trophy hunting...) and played a few things outside of this challenge. Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
12th Update - The weekend approaches! I spent this week so far pushing further into 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim and I also finally made a start on Yakuza 6: The Song of Life. 13 Sentinels has been the most confusing, yet compelling narrative heavy game i've played in a long time. Because there is technically no chronology to the story that unfolds you spend your time jumping between feeling really confused, followed by everything making sense, followed by feeling confused again etc. It's a great game that is 70% branched visual novel style storytelling and 30% very light real time strategy gameplay. It's a weird combo that actually works. The art direction is beautiful, which is expected considering it's from the people that bought us Odin Sphere and Dragon's Crown, and 13 Sentinels definitely uses that same book illustration/painted style. I might have the platinum secured for this before Sunday as I only have 5 RTS battles left and the rest is just narrative story progression. As for Yakuza 6, it feels great to be back in the series again, even though this time around it's a little bittersweet as this is currently the final chapter for our Dragon of Dojima. For some reason the combat is taking a bit of time for me to adjust to, possibly because I spent a big chunk of time with Yakuza 5 combat and i'm really used to that. It's definitely a Yakuza game though - right now i'm meant to be immersed in a three way war between Yakuza, Triads and Jingweon Mafia, but i'm completely side tracked by Karaoke and a cat rescue minigame. Everything I want out of a Yakuza experience to be honest ? Popular Post Darling Baphomet
Late update; spent half of the last week playing Dirt 5 since it was free for a bit; got the platinum and didn't care to get the DLC trophies for it. Also got another trophy in TLJH, putting me at 80% (think I'm the 5th highest completion now?); I did a run that had me encounter a bunch of the minor aliens I was missing and still haven't gotten the 'meet all aliens' trophy, so I'm not sure how to trigger it. I may try going for 100% ships encounters and quests done in case that has any weird triggers for it. If I get to having everything but the aliens trophy, I may write it off as too bugged to achieve and call it a completion. Finally finished Do Not Feed The Monkeys today; a lovely little people watching / resource management game. Definitely worth the price I got it for on sale; I've never played anything quite like it and I don't think I ever will again. In retrospect I think I overestimated my ability to stick to a pre-selected group of games - definitely going to have to limit myself to 15 games for next event. 6 / 25 GAMES COMPLETED - CURRENT LIST: Spoiler Black = not started yet, Green = in progress, Blue = finished The Outer Wilds - 100% Need For Speed: Heat - 100% The Sexy Brutale - 100% Ruiner - 100% Masters of Anima - 100% Do Not Feed The Monkeys - 100% Ys VIII - 24% Big Pharma - 3% The Long Journey Home - 80% Jurassic Park Evolution - 2% Nier Automata - 27% Zone of the Enders - The 2nd Runner - MARS - 0% Patapon - 2% Frostpunk - 0% Ghost Giant - 0% Odin Sphere Leifthraiser - 0% The Count Lucanor - 0% Pixel Ripped 1995 - 7% Concrete Genie - 0% Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey - 31% Amplitude - 4% Dragon Quest Builders 2 - 5% Bow to Blood - 44% A Fisherman's Tale - 0% Felix The Reaper - 4%

Popular Post Heather342
Update #7 I have completed the first game of my backlog challenge: Assassin's Creed Revelations - 100% I enjoyed the parts with Ezio, but the first person perspective Animus stuff wasn't great. The two no death trophies were an absolute pain, I ended up doing the glitch for the Impress Warren Vidic trophy as it was too annoying. My remaining backlog entries looks like this: - Spirit of the North - 58% (started 0%) - Cuphead - 30% (started 14%) - Hitman 3 - 32% (started 16%) - Crash Bandicoot - 34% (not attempted yet) I may swap out Crash, I'm not making as quick progress with my other games and having 2 difficult games on the list is proving challenging. Not sure what to swap it for yet though. Happy trophy hunting everyone ?
Popular Post YaManSmevz
What's goin on y'all? I see a lot of progress being made, props to everybody on that! Unfortunately I can't seem to get a productive week in to save my life. Work this, wife that, family this, friends that. Like do you mind?? I'm TRYING to play video games. On a serious note, I am officially a hell of a sheriff and I couldn't be more pleased to be done with that. Have you ever seen someone in the forums expressing grief over a trophy and you go to their profile and see that they never got it? Always makes me a lil sad. Anyway, I am happy to have once again escaped that fate. Taking my time with the brutal playthrough on Uncharted. Yikes. That's all I have to say about that. Forgot how much I love Metal Gear in general. Ground Zeroes has been a lot of fun but definitely is serving as a reminder of my painfully average gamer skills. Getting an S on that helicopter mission has been very trying - I've never been good at shooters and precise aiming while moving is, well, whatever the opposite of a strong suit is for me. I'll get it eventually, I'm not worried about it or anything but sometimes gitting gud takes longer than I care for! That's about it from my end. I keep feeling like I've fallen behind schedule (after this week, and next week, and the week after that, there's only four weeks left!!) but eh, whaddayagonnado. As usual, havin a blast and lookin forward to all the other weekly updates! 1. Resident Evil 2 (97-->100%)✅ 2. Overcooked 2 (10-->12%) 3. Final Fantasy 7 (5%) 4. Popular Post Hisuiryu
Week 6 update I put in a bit more effort this week to get on track! I again played a little bit more of Catherine, not sure how long it'll take me to do it all but I'll keep chipping away at those stages, I think I might push forward to get the rest of the endings/miscellaneous trophies and return to hard mode later to pick up a few more trophies soon. I also completed all 5 episodes of Tales of Monkey Island, they were pretty fun but it's mostly made me want to pick up the original Monkey Island games... which is a whole separate issue haha. Finally, I played a bit of Outland - it was really just getting the multiplayer trophy out of the way, which was interesting to self-boost as it took a few goes to actually clear the stage fast enough. I think when I play it I'll have to start the campaign from the beginning since I tried continuing my save file but got so lost I think I'll try to tick off P5DiS this week, and maybe the offline stuff for BBCT (the online will be self boosted with a trial of PS Now, but I want to make best use of it for various games) Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China - 100% BlazBlue Calamity Trigger - 0% Catherine - 40% Dragon Age: Inquisition (PS3) - 100% Final Fantasy XIII - 0% Final Fantasy Type-0 - 13% htoL#NiQ: The Firefly Diary - 7% Outland - 9% Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight - 0% Tales of Monkey Island Ch1-5 - 100%

I also did some list housekeeping and decided to drop Yakuza 7 (I realised I'm going to need more of a mental gap between this and Yakuza 6. I'll absolutely pick it up again towards the end of the year) and Sakuna: of Rice and Ruin (I dropped this in the last challenge and ended up dropping it again in this one. Maybe it's not meant to be). I'm swapping them for Nier:Replicant which is on my most anticipated games of 2021 list and Visage which i've been dying to play and should be a nice little break from alot of the anime-esque games i've been playing this challenge so far. I feel good about getting this challenge completed successfully now. I was on the fence because I assumed Yakuza 6 would be a time vampire (I had spent hundreds of hours in Yakuza 5) but it has been a breeze so far, it seems like the easiest platinum out of the entire franchise and the most straightforward. The biggest factor seems to be that it doesn't require you to master every single completion item like most of the others did which is a huge factor in how easier the Yakuza 6 experience is from a platinum time point of view. The only other game on the list that might take a chunk of time is Nier:Replicant. It's a bit of an unknown quantity as far as longevity goes. But the remaining games are technically shorter experiences, so I can always work away on them in the background while I play Nier this month. Hope the week ahead is kind to everyone, i'm going to spend my evenings this week chipping away at Yakuza 6 and Danganronpa. Popular Post Static_Rook
Update 6 - 4/12/2021 Batman Arkham Knight 61% Bioshock PS3 8% Dead Space 2 14% Dynasty Warriors 7 30% Forager 100% 3/20/2021 Gris 3/14/2021 Ratchet and Clank 0% Rez Infinite 4/2/2022The Walking Dead Season 1 (PS3) / 100% 4/6/2021 Ys IX Monstrum Nox 10% 4/10 Completed 2/2 swaps used The 400 Days DLC was quick and easy so now The Walking Dead Season 1 is 100% complete. 4 games down, 6 to go! I then spent most of the week going through Dynasty Warriors 7's Story Mode again. I forgot each nation has like 20+ stages to complete so it's taking me longer than I thought. But, I need to do it to unlock all the movies, and it's pretty easy to put on a podcast and zone out with some mindless musou fun so it's fine. Hopefully I'll finish up Story Mode this week and then I'll start on Conquest Mode and actually make some trophy progress. The plan is to finish the game by the end of the month. I meant to start Bioshock over the weekend, but I got my second vaccine dose and spent most of it in bed. Feeling better today so I'm going to start the game in a bit. I'm using the 1.00 glitch method to only need 1 playthrough so I should be able to get the plat and do the challenge rooms by Friday. Then I'll start on Dead Space 2. Week 7 plans -finish DW7 Story Mode -plat and 100% Bioshock -start Dead Space 2 Have a good week!
