Or do you need a partner to get the plat? I only play Overcooked solo as most of the time it's easier. The scores required for 3* scale to how many people are playing, and in most levels you can sail past the 3* quite comfortably. I think there was only 2 levels in the last zone that gave me a bit of trouble and I barely scraped it after a couple of tries. It's definitely more fun with other people, but not if you want trophies lol

Popular Post StilRh
Hi guys. Reasonable starting week for me. Following a missable guide for Dragon's Dogma very carefully but I don't have the patience to do that as well with Divinity 2 so playing blind - I'll have to do additional plays anyway. It's suboptimal but fun trying to figure the game and trophies out unaided. Dipped my toe into Civ 6 last night, 10 hours later I decided to put the controller down lol. Popular Post Static_Rook
Well this is annoying. Turns out a couple of the trophies in Forager are bugged. One for getting all the tools and weapons, and one for getting all the accessories. I didn't get the pop-up notice after finishing the last upgrades, and no trophy notification either. Checked the in-game feats list and they show as completed there. That's when I went searching and found out it's been an issue since the July 2020 update. D'oh! No one on this site has unlocked those trophies since July either. There are still 3 other trophies I can get so I'm going to knock those out before my real update tomorrow. I'll leave it on my list for now, but if there's no update come May I'll use one of my swaps. I ran into this issue with 2 games in the last challenge too, so I should have checked before adding it. Seems like the other games I added are fine, at least.
Popular Post YaManSmevz
First week was kinda quiet, I've been hittin the ps4 a lil too hard lately and I'm burnin out. But as they say, I'll sleep when the backlog challenge is dead. Started with Manhunt and immediately remembered why I dropped it so quickly - the controls are ATROCIOUS, and I know it's old but even Vice City was better than this. Having said that, the concept is spectacular, that soundtrack is life, and I gotta say, for all its faults this is a great game. As an unashamed Rockstar fanboy, I love seeing the bridge between gta 3/vice city and san andreas, the warriors, and bully. For whatever reason Manhunt and the first Red Dead were the only games of theirs I missed at the time. Also I noticed I have Ground Zeroes at 33% so I figured I may as well add that one. I love me some MGS so why not? My sad, sad update: 1. Resident Evil 2 (50%) 2. Overcooked 2 (5%) 3. Final Fantasy 7 (2%) 4. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune Remastered (1%) 5. Manhunt (1--->29%) 6. Fallout 4 (1%) 7. Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes (33%)

It was a bit of a chaotic week for me this week, so I didn’t get as much done as I’d have liked. Work had me opening, which is a struggle when I’m sometimes not in bed yet by the time the store opens. I also got a new dog last week! It’s been an adjustment for all of us (me, him, my roommate), but I think things are looking much better and I won’t have to worry much any more! Anyway, on to the game updates! I only made a teensy bit of progress in one of the games for this challenge this week. I did some of the minigame stuff in Amnesia: Memories. I was more focused on trying to finish setting up the game I’m doing for my 75th plat and working on a shorter indie to get done quickly for my 74th. But I’m mostly done with the indie for my 74th, and all that’s left for my 75th is a date sensitive trophy, so by the end of this week I should have both done and can focus more on the games for this challenge!
Popular Post Hisuiryu
Week 1 Update One week in and I figured I'd post a small update - I've spent most my time playing DAI so far as it's a double hit for this event and the UR cleanup as well as the biggest time sink on this list. I've got to say, while my love of the series, world and characters carries me through, the performance for the PS3 version is abysmal. I hit level 14 yesterday and I'm working on clearing most the things in the lower-level regions including having gone back to Hinterlands to kill my first high dragon! Since I got my specialisation (Knight Enchanter) and respecced, Nightmare difficulty isn't particularly threatening so now I'm just enjoying the ride. I also completely forgot to balance my list with some Vita games so I'm playing some games not on here.... which is fine, I don't really want to make this list bigger and commit to finishing them now, so I'll just live with it. Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
2nd Update - Not a huge jump in trophy progress with Nioh since the last update, but i've made quite a bit of in-game progress over the weekend. I figure if I keep going at this pace, i'll be done in a week and a half. Most of my time has been spent completing missions in the NG+ difficulty (I'm about 3/4 of the way through it), levelling my character as I go and putting some time into increasing my gear levels. I also figured out the mechanics behind upgrading Divine gear now, so that has made things way easier from an inventory management/crafting point of view. I think i'm at that stage that you can get to in general loot-heavy games where the gear you see as precious in early game like Rare (blue) and Exotic (purple) is now almost arbitrary and just an instant sell or is disassembled right away for crafting components. Now i'm pretty much only dealing with Divine (luminous green) gear because it drops so frequently where i'm at in the game, which feels weird because the first Divine pieces I got were so rare at the stage I got them, that I think I treated them preciously and locked them away in my inventory for hours. The only thing i'm trying to figure out still is how much I should be crafting now vs. relying on loot drops. Once Divine gear started to drop more frequently, my use of crafting gear almost completely stopped. I also spent some time playing around with my character stats build, skills and weapons and I think i've found something that I can carry into the late late game and DLC's. That was my biggest challenge so far - figuring out something that works for me and my play-style. All this is less about short term trophy gains and more about long term prep for higher difficulties and DLC's which look intense if you aren't prepared enough. It looks like the biggest challenge will be the requirements to complete most missions on Way of the Demon difficulty, so i'm trying not to skip straight to that difficulty and work my way to it gradually. I'm always up for theory-crafting, so if anyone wants to talk Nioh, stats, builds etc, give me a shout! Popular Post freddie1989
A productive first stint for me now Wildlands is giving out trophies. Just do clean up on that now and then will attack the DLC once they are not at an extortionate price to purchase!! Overall after a slow start I actually ended up really enjoying the game. I made sure to do all provinces before the final missions so it didn't make the story weird. Other than that just did the prologue on Darksiders 2 which I have to say hasn't aged very well lol but I imagine it should be fun anyway so I can get the 3rd one down for the next challenge hopefully!! Hope you are all making progress and having a blast!! Like I said in my previous post, I'm leaving it on my list, and if there's no update by May I'll swap it out for something else. It's a shame because Forager is a really fun game for 30 hours or so, then it kinda grinds to a halt when it becomes all about Void farming. And for the final 2 in-game feats (produce 1 millions coins with banks and have 1 trillion coins total) I just let the game run on its own overnight. Oh well, on to the next game! I'm still wrapping up Persona 5 Strikers as my 75th plat outside of this challenge so I'm only planning on completing Gris this week. Then, once P5S is done, I'll start in on some of the bigger games on my list. I also want to start Remnant while it's the current hotness. I plan on soloing most of it, but it's good to know co-op will be active if need be. Week 2 plans -Plat Gris -Start Remnant Have a good week! Popular Post da_eMTy
Update #1: made some good progress in the first days. Awesome Pea was a fun plattformer and not as easy as I thought and the completion rate shows. But it was fun and maybe I will get the second entry of the series aswell. Nightmares from the deep was a typical aritfex mundi game and was fun like always. But again this time ive got a bug at the end of the game and couldnt reach the last puzzle, so I had to play trough it a third time. The last completed game for this update was Glass Masquerade 2 with was also fun, but the hard mode was not really crisp. I liked the first game more. Zero Time Dilemma - 0% Just finished the 2nd episode of King's Quest. I do like comedy point and clicks. Christopher Lloyd of Back to the Future fame narrates with his best narration voice, and chucks out the puns at a good rate. It's definitely a good laugh. To nail the numerous missables first time, you need a guide up. In fact, because of the auto save system and some time sensitive bits, I'm following one fairly closely. Still, I'm enjoying the experience. I'm trying to finish the main game of AC Odyssey as a priority so I can then plan the DLCs (daunting buggers). I've recently completed the 20 bounties, got to level 50 and become the champion of the arena. Fights used to be fairly touch and go but that sword swipe finisher when levelled up does solid damage for only taking one adrenaline slot. I wanted to get the trophy for head mercenary to but I'm second with the first mercenary undiscovered still. More exploring required. Just finished the main story last night. Slowly progressing through Sakura Wars. I love the characters and the plot. It also looks really good. The shine on polished marble floors is a bit of a wow. I have to say that I haven't taken to the mech type combat though. Well, I have, but at the moment it isn't my cup of tea. It's just a bit too chaotic for me I reckon. Pushing on though. Loving everyone's updates as always. Have fun all, take care!

It sounds strange to say it considering you're in a robot suit, but it feels a tad clunky. I battle with the camera occasionally to. It's far from bad though. The combat's fairly simple, chaining light attacks and heavy attacks, and the team attacks are just mental and stunning. Here's the thing, you spend a good 2-3 hours each chapter socialising, exploring, playing cards etc (all of which I love) and then have a 20 minute combat segment which I probably just get into when it's finishing. I don't think that helps. But, there's a battle simulator where you can replay levels and do extras for the plat. In short, it's too good to miss out on buddy. Definitely pop it on a list in the future ?

Popular Post Darling Baphomet
Finished my second game of the event, Need for Speed Heat; the third NFS game I've tried on PS4 but the first one I've platinumed. With how that platinum went, hopefully the last - the racing segment was fun, but the story was extremely short and I spent probably half my playtime getting collectibles and the horrific mini-activities. (Why would you put a speed trap on a bridge that's constantly filled with traffic?!) Anyway, thank god that's over with. Also progressed a few chapters further into Ys VIII, and started a new The Long Journey Home game, as well as studied up on some Steam guides and such to familiarize myself with it. Apparently the trophy tracking can be glitchy, which explains why despite every trophy being achieved it has a 0% plat rate. I guess I'll see how I fare with it? Popular Post MrPhrips
Update #2: Subbing games: First time doing a backlog challenge and I made a mistake of adding too many of similar genres. Some are starting to feel like chores and less like a video game to play for fun. I Expect You To Die (0%) for Kentucky (hear it's buggy and I need something more engaging) Raji: An Ancient Epic (0%) for Twin Mirror (I picked too many story games and need a regular game). Updated list: The Inpatient (0%) Deracine (0%) I Expect You To Die (0%) Salary Man Escape (100%) Raji: An Ancient Epic (0%) Goat Simulator (52%) Control (92%) Manifold Garden (100%) Gris (18%) The Vanishing of Ethan Carter (100%) ? Rain (10%) Back to the Future: The Game (7%) Manifold Garden is one of the coolest puzzle games I've played in awhile. I'd say it's tied for third best puzzle game (with Superliminal) on the PS4 after The Witness and Tetris Effect. Really fun and crazy creative, you don't need a guide for the regular play through either. Not that long and only 2 playthroughs for the platinum trophy. Salary Man Escape was a unique game, I picked it up because I love puzzle games and lived over in Japan for a while and thought their interest with "salary men" was funny. It's Jenga with mazes. Tricky, good and challenging but nothing amazing. The puzzles are good and hard toward the end, but I wanted more "Salary Man" influence and humor and didn't get much of it. The worst part of this game is the music. The songs are fine and catchy, but they repeat over and over and over again. If you play this game put on your favorite playlists, listen to something educational, or your favorite podcasts and I promise you you'll enjoy the game more. The Vanishing of Ethan Carter was not what I was expecting. It was darker than I thought (I know, a missing child case? dark?) and gets pretty spooky at times, but such a beautiful game by such a small studio. I love "walking simulators" due to them being so heavy with story and character, and this game is a great one. It is a challenge without a guide and the game tells you there's no hand holding from the start and they mean it. A good story with a really good ending.
Popular Post SpacebarPlays
Second update coming up Its just another little Stardew Valley update and the annoyance of ANOTHER big bug (Well, 2 but i managed to fix one). Stardew Valley - 58% -> 88% So, ive completed the 'hard' part, i did Fectors Challenge for completing the stick shooter without dying, which was fun and hair pulling at the same time. The major issue i have with the game is that the 1.5 update seems to have added some pretty big bugs into the trophies. I managed to complete the 'cook all recipes' trophy but that took me cooking multiple recipes + i only got the trophy about 2 ingame weeks after actually finishing the requirements. The biggest annoyance, is that the 'Craft all Recipes' appears to be completed bugged. Theres a way to view completion in game and it says ive crafted 99% of recipes but comparing my crafting list with the Wiki, ive definitely crafted every single item available in the game. Now, if i was to start a new save/farm on the 1.5 update, to get the requirements to complete all crafting recipes, id be spending another 60 hours easily, just to rush to this trophy. So im probably going to downgrade my game to the 1.01 version to be able to use glitches to rush both this and the other big trophy that was bugged out. Even rushing, its still an extra 15 hours that i shouldnt have had to do but whatever, great game still.

Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
3rd Update: No visible trophy progress in Nioh, but a tonne of in-game progress so far this week. I'm 2 missions away from finishing NG+ and after that, i'll unlock and start on NG++ (aka 'Way of the Demon' difficulty). This is pretty much where i'm going to be spending my remaining time with the game and knocking out the 3 DLC expansions too. I could technically have focused on getting the platinum already, but to get the 100% I need to complete most, if not all missions at NG++ difficulty. I knew that if I just knocked the plat out this week and did the DLC separately, i'd lose momentum and motivation having to go back and do everything on NG++ difficulty again just for three trophies. Once I hit NG++ this week, i'm just going to focus primarily on completing missions and improving my gear quality/level. Hopefully the other trophies should come residually. I'm over 100 hours deep into this game now and i'm still having fun, I noticed that the pace has slowed a fair bit as the difficulty curve has risen, which is understandable, but boy am I ready for a shorter game after this. I remember criticising The Order: 1886 back in the day for it's length. But the idea of an 8-10 hour game experience after I've wrapped Nioh up sounds like heaven right now ?
