Popular Post Heather342
Update 2 I have been off work this week, so managed to get a fair amount of backlog cleaning done. I've mainly been playing Hitman 3, working my way through the levels in chronological order. I completed the first game DLC pack this week, and I'm now on the 3rd level in the Hitman 2 DLC. I don't plan on finishing this just yet, as I'm aiming to have this game as my Platinum #47 (currently on 43), but there's still quite a lot to do until I reach the new levels in Hitman 3. My progress is now up to 30%. I've also been playing Cuphead some more. While there doesn't appear to be much progress in terms of trophies achieved, I feel I have progressed quite well. I find this game really hard, and also quite frustrating so I just do one level at a time. I managed to complete Isle 2 and am 2 bosses complete on Isle 3. Trophy progress has gone from 14% at the start of the challenge up to 18%. As a change of pace, I started playing Spirit of the North yesterday. It's quite a slow paced game, very relaxing and what I needed after playing Cuphead ?. Trophy progress up from 0% to 16%.
Popular Post MidnightDragon
Last week, I was too stressed to play. This week, I've been too damn busy, so mainly been doing Bomberman turbo runs. That being said, my plans have changed since making my list, so probably will end up using both my swaps. Keeping things unchanged for now, though. Edited March 13, 2021 by MidnightDragon
Popular Post HaserPL
Weekend update #1. Finally finished Naughty Bear's DLC lol. I honestly wasn't expecting this would take so long, I was hoping I'd do it in a day or two, and move on with other games, but it turns out that having the DLC compatible save file actually makes the plat a bit easier (less grind, more room for error with platinum cups), so I decided to push forward and go for the plat. Also finished online trophies in FEAR 3 and almost finished them in Lost Planet 3, so that's also nice. Popular Post StilRh
Weekend update. Hi all. I've moved back to night shifts which changes the way in which I can play games (I can drill a Civilisation campaign in a single sitting on my nights off while my family are sleeping but on days where I've got a shift I'm generally too busy to even power up my PS5). I've made some reasonable progress in most games and still find them quite fresh. I'll probably add another 5 or so to my list next week as I have some annual leave coming up and wanted to blast through a few shorter experiences. Have a lovely week! Popular Post YaManSmevz
Hello, my fellow spring cleaners! Second week was much like the first, work has been wild so sadly my productivity has been going more towards that. Wrong place for it, if you ask me! Against my better judgement I've started jumping around a bit; I want Res 2 to be my 20th plat and something off of MGS for my 1337 trophy (I'm what the kids call a basic bitch). All I have left for Res 2 and Manhunt are full runs so I'm kinda dreading that, but starting Uncharted at long last is already a real treat. Great to see so many of you makin solid progress! Popular Post Hisuiryu
Week 2 Update This week is a super easy update - I played a fuck-ton of Dragon Age Inquisition and nothing much else. I'm nearing the end of the game now (What Pride has Wrought being my next story mission), but I've still got a bit to go before I'm actually done. Another 4 dragons to kill (the 3 in Emprise du Lion and 1 in Hissing Wastes), but rifts and shards are done everywhere except for those 2 locations as well. I'm a little concerned that the Pathfinder trophy hasn't popped as I've unlocked camps in all 10 base-game areas.... hopefully it'll pop when I take a trip to the JoH DLC location. Popular Post da_eMTy
Update #2: Got some more progress on my list. Ive finished Spiral Splatter which was a pain in some levels, but overall a very nice game. The next one was Shapeshifting Detective another FMV game in my Backlog. It was ok, the Videoquality was great and the acting was also fine. But the Story...I cant describe it right, but it doesnt pulled me in. The Complex and LateShift are better in my opinion. Also got some good progress on Megaquarium, which is a really nice game. Nothing complicated, no stress. Just build a great aquarium and match the demands. Its a nice Simulation. Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
4th Update - I'm still in the zero trophy progress but lot's of in-game progress stage with Nioh. At the moment i'm almost level 300 and one upgrade away from having +15 Divine gear equipped in all slots. Turns out projectile weapons don't drop nearly as frequently as melee weapons, even with luck enhancing strategies. I'm about 50% through mission completion for Way of the Demon difficulty and close to jumping into the first DLC content (Finally!). It's taking way longer than I assumed or any trophy guides estimated though, not complaining though as this game has really clicked with me. A few folks suggested i mainline for the last mission, unlock the NG+++ difficulty, grind out a higher level bracket of gear and weapons and then revert back to NG++ difficulty for an easier time. But i'm kinda having a blast doing it routinely right now. It's nice to know I have a safety net if things get too tough though. I should be able to get some solid gametime in this week - I also have a bonus day off with St.Patricks day so i've technically got some extra chill time with gaming to help me along. For some reason it's stressy as hell at work at the moment, so i'm really relishing my downtime with gaming. Hope everyone is doing as well as they can be and keep those updates comin' ? Knocked out Gris over the weekend and it was the perfect game to play after something long like P5S. Beautiful artstyle and just under 8 hours to get the platinum. Also started Remnant and it's been okay. Doesn't make the best first impression, but I'm slowly getting used to it. I can tell it's gonna take me a while to finish so I'll be playing some other games on my list while I go for the 100% in Remnant. Still not sure what I want to do about Forager. I'll probably swap it out with SaGa Frontier Remastered when that releases on 4/15. But I want to make sure SaGa's trophy list isn't bugged or has something crazy like FF IX's jump rope trophy before committing to it. Popular Post Darling Baphomet
Big update, decided The Sexy Brutale was too much of an ezpz to deserve its own update, so I gave myself some time to finish Ruiner as well - both very good games of very different genres. The Sexy Brutale was a fantastic murder mystery puzzle game with Groundhog Day elements, while Ruiner is a Hotline Miami-esque game except cyberpunk and with pretty cool abilities. The Sexy Brutale was a breeze to play through, as suggested by its 50% rarity, although a decently long game. Ruiner was a much harder achievement; as the previous reference to Hotline Miami suggests, it was brutal at parts, however it's not the longest game and I do have experience with similar twin stick shooters. The DLC trophies weren't too bad either, although a bit of a time sink. Back to Ys VIII after this, I suppose - I lost a bit of motivation since I missed some stuff on my first playthrough, and I'll have to merge my 100% playthrough with my nightmare difficulty playthrough, although that shouldn't be too bad; this first playthrough will be a sort of practice run. Also have put in a few runs into The Long Journey Home; currently have my most successful run yet in progress, more than halfway home - we'll see if it holds up. Popular Post be_minor
Update #1: More than halfway through the first month of this challenge, and I feel like I’m on the right track to complete it this time. I completed Mass Effect 2 last week, something I’ve been wanting to achieve since the game was released. I spent one playthrough 100%-ing all missions to set up my character for a ME3 import, and then platinumed it with my femShep Infiltrator on Insanity. I’ve always loved the Mass Effect games equally, but after completing the first and second installment subsequently, I really appreciate ME2’s direction, especially with combat. I also started my 100% playthrough of Mass Effect 3. My goal is to complete everything but the insanity-related trophies by the end of the month. Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
5th Update - Mid-week update for me, I was fortunate enough to have St. Patrick's Day off so I was able to make some more progress with Nioh. I only have 3 more main missions to complete on Way of the Demon (NG++) difficulty and I broke the character level 300 threshold while pushing my divine gear over into +18/+19 upgrade levels. How did that translate into trophy progress? **drumroll** a massive, huge, whopping 1%!!!!. I didn't move the trophy needle hugely but this game does a really good job of giving a sense of satisfying in-game progression that i'm focusing more on that and it's fine with me. I'm planning on spending tomorrow and the weekend in the DLC content and knocking out the daily Twilight missions as I go, so I think there will be a much steadier flow of trophies once i'm in the weeds with it. Then I think all I need to do after that is to go back and clean up any sub-missions/dojo missions that are hanging around and I'm done (I think). Have to say though - I think i'm losing my edge in all this lockdown/quarantine madness - I keep jumping into games that seem more straightforward than they actually are and end up being massive undertakings. Not that it's a bad thing, but I think I need to up my research game a bit more, or just get better at games, or both! evilmatinator
I have hundreds of games in my backlog but my current goal is to just say I've finished them all at least once for now and go back later if I want more trophies. Obviously if I enjoy the game enough at the time I'll carry on with the trophies at the time. I'm currently playing a game on my PS3 that I've put off for years Aliens Colonial Marines and that's a clock only one for sure lol. Next will be Hunted The Demon's Forge which I remember hating but I want my money worth so I have to at least clock it once.

Popular Post Stanners316
Update 3: 1. Sakura Wars - 35% (16th March) 2. King's Quest - 47% 65% 3. Assassin's Creed Odyssey - 43% 4. Concrete Genie - 0% 5. Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls - 0% 6. PGA Tour 2K21 - 0% 7. The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker - 0% 8. Zero Time Dilemma - 0% Finished off my first of the challenge. My opinion of Sakura Wars fluctuated throughout the journey but overall it was a very enjoyable experience. I'm usually a fan of VN elements so it was nice to have lots of "sit back and enjoy" moments - lots of humour, silliness and spectacular-ness. I got the hang of Koi-Koi fairly quickly, starting to remember the important cards to have etc. It's an element that helps to mix up the game quite nicely as you can play when you feel like it. I improved with the combat but it didn't really become more enjoyable. A few of the combat levels are pretty fun but the game suffers from making you replay all combat sections with each team member. It's understandable being a bit grindy for the platinum, but I tended to prefer the main character in combat so it was very repetitive. Still, with each section taking about 15 mins, it seems bite-size and manageable, but there was 48 or so of them... Platforming within the levels is a joke, my only proper negative of the game. I wouldn't have my time back with this one though, I give it a 7.3/10 or something around there. I almost need a warning for games like this though; "by the way, you're a young guy, all of your world is filled with young girls, some of very suspect age, but you'll flirt relentlessly, you will feel awkward, there's lots of bathroom scenes." Should have known ? Finished the 2nd and 3rd episodes of King's Quest. Still having a great time with it. It makes me chuckle quite a lot which is nice. It's a good option for when I only want to commit to a couple of hours of gaming. I'm starting Zero Time Dilemma today, looking forward to the puzzles. Zero Escape: VLR was a highlight of my gaming last summer so hoping for more of the same. I'll start PGA Tour 2K21 over the weekend in prep for some real life golf from the end of March onwards. Real life anything seems a challenge, but real life 4hrs of walking round and playing golf after 4 months of sitting down is going to be interesting!
