Lightsp33d1987
I see on the store Nioh 2 has an upgrade to PS5 but what about the first game I can't see it? Are they trying to make us purchase the complete collection for £70?

Nioh 1 doesn't get a free upgrade, it has to be purchased if you want the ps5 version

I have never played the original. Just rented this and was not aware they both were not with an upgrade. Maybe it won't make a difference to me as I have never played them ? I canceled my Preorder cause N2 had a free upgrade. Assumed 1 did as well. Whatever. Ill wait for a sale, pick it up, play the DLC for 1 and 2 at that time. Have way too many games in the backlog
Spacey_Dweeb
I'm pretty sure they were just upgrading Nioh 2 for free because it's so recent. When they made the announcememt for the remasters, they still had DLC for Nioh 2 that wasn't even released yet. So, they needed to keep the good will of the fans that had already made a purchase. And like someone pointed out, without the first one being free, many may just shrug and buy the whole collection anyway.
