How to do routes to earn the most!

After spending hours trying to setup routes for trading I found the trick.

The best way to earn good money is short routes. I chose port royal, santiago, san Juan, and port-au-prince. Another route I did was Biloxi, Port st. joe, sisal, Cacun, and caymen.

Change the trade preferences to Supply & demand. If you choose profit your reputation will flop everywhere.

To protect your ships the convoys should be a total of 3-5 ships and make sure you have 2-3 escorts with them

Next thing you need to do is learn how to battle because pirates will destroy your ships. I learned how to do that effectively too.

I played about 5hours and lost a ton of money and all of my ships learning. I got annoyed and started to aggressively learn to battle. I started over from scratch and passively played for about 3hrs slowly advancing. Put in another 4hrs last night and was ON FIRE. I was taking towns peacefully, destroying every pirate in site. I popped about 9 trophies.

Honestly I don't see this game being a problem to plat. Once I got the hang of it it's a lot of fun too. I hope they make another one.

It seems that you don't need to own your own town to get this platinum, getting your own town is very hard in port royale 2(PC) I only ever got a half of a town. you need to go to the viceroy and attack and take over an enemy town to get a town for yourself and you have to keep attacking enemy towns to get more land and towns also before you can attack towns for a viceroy you need to make sure you have a letter of marque. I never did find that legendary ship in port royale 2 I wonder if it is in port royale 3.

I have now played a bit of port royale 3 and I have found that it is easier to make gold in this one than the previous one.

Making money is easier in this game than the last one and it's something that you don't have to worry about just build what you can afford and make sure that raw materials get to the cities that need then even the pirates are easier to beat.
