Bos10George
I can think of at least a dozen games I have not even considered attempting because of the clearly advertised difficulty. So I created an acronym for this TH;DT (Too Hard, didn't try) to sum it up. My first example was the infallible trophy for Fall Guys. The game went viral in our community as it was free, but this particular trophy was infamous. Just based on the complaints and heartache from peoples experience I am saying TH;DT. Don't want either A) another incompletion or B ) to stress myself out getting this done. Anyone else have something that falls (pun intended) into this category? StraightVege
The only title that comes to mind at the moment is Devil May Cry 5. I'm certain it's a fantastic action game, but I'm not confident I possess the necessary resolve for that one these days.
MandA60VISE
All those rhythm games. I keep putting off No Straight Roads and Mad Rat Dead because of it. I fear trying to go for Yakuza Kiawami's platinum because of karaoke instead of brutal difficulty or the challenges.
AJ_Radio
I say for you @Bos10George 10 Second Ninja X is still one of your hardest accomplishments. Definitely a lot of precision and practice needed to pass those levels on X rank. For me, it is DOOM 2’s Nightmare Co-Op trophy. The trophy designers purposely changed Nightmare difficulty to make it even harder. On its latest version, it is next to impossible to beat some levels solo. Right now I don’t have the courage to spend 20 - 30 hours wrecking my brain to earn the one trophy I need for platinum. Still haven’t done level 7 - Dead Simple, and anything past level 22 - 23 still isn’t finished on Nightmare Co-Op.
Kcrack_Km
I don't think I could say something was too hard without at least trying it first. What may be hard for other people might be easier for you and vice versa. I've hit plenty of road blocks but got through with enough grinding and determination....and breaks.

I guess the real story is I am too lazy to attempt it. Like @AJ_Radio said, I have done games like 10 second ninja which is brutally hard to complete. I platted the entire star ocean series, stardew (before it became easy) and others. I am not adverse to challenges, but at the end of the day I want to enjoy myself and those game provided some level of enjoyment. Souls games and the like that not only punish me, but provide no real notoriety at the end just dont appeal to me. I can definitely plat Fall Guys. I just don't want to. AJ_Radio
Dark Souls is subjective. After a while I found them fairly easy, I generally leveled a little more than the suggested levels for most areas. Demon’s Souls turned out to be the most nerve wrecking due to World/Character Tendency. Hitting Stockpile Thomas on accident and having him turn hostile meant a new playthrough just to see him friendly. Pure Bladestone is a drop that is notorious for having a very low drop rate. Bloodborne was a lot of fun. So was Dark Souls, so I’m definitely looking forward to Dark Souls II.
BrandedBerserk
Don't know if there's any games I've avoided specifically but the rhythm and fighter genres are definitely the most intimidating to me, absolutely no surprise that they contain some of the most prestigious 100% out there. Trini
Well, I did try Catherine on PS3 but not enough to platinum given how insane the puzzles can be at times, and quite frankly I suck at puzzles. I only touched it for the story which I did enjoy. Overall, I guess you can say I have a love/hate relationship with it; I'm still hoping I can nail it one day but it seems unlikely. Super_Mep
@Bos10George I think you hit the head on the nail with Fall Guys. I haven't played it yet but I will just on my wife's account so I just have fun and not worry about it hitting my account haha.
