This is most definitely true for a few other games (particularly Resonance of Fate) but if he/she didn't hack this game, then would they still be disqualified?

I don't think its possible for us to know if he hacked A-men, so, unfortunately for him, I think he should be disqualified. He has hacked games on his list that require CFW (RoF), so how on earth should we trust him for this?

Well I'd agree as well, but looking at the glitched trophies, he would've needed to provide proof that he completed all the levels in game properly to show through video.

I did , hell of a strategy while i basically was going non stop with very little sleep, he/she understood the rules even better than i did and exploited it straight to a PS4 probably sleeping like a baby while he/she did it, RESPECT and congratulations

Hindsight would show that some other things should be added, but hindsight is a female dog and you can't change halfway through. The team didn't change the rules so the results are valid, even if a hacker/glitcher on other games is part of the winners

Well true, but the dude didn't hack this game and the competition is about A-men 2 which he did legit. I'm not supporting hackers but if one can do a legit completion of a game for a purpose of competition and show proof that they did it legit, then its fine. Although if the rules didn't require you to show proof, then I would be against Solid.

 

The important thing out of this is that we got a competition where people had fun doing their best to complete a very hard game and at the same time trying to earn some super awesome prizes (Thanks Blooper Team for doing the contest here). I just hope we get more competitions in the future, I didn't attempt this competition because I already own a Vita and I'm getting my PS4 in Day 1 Midnight Launch here in Australia so I thought it would be unfair for people who don't own or are getting either console. If I did win it, I would of asked to have the lifetime game prize as that would benefit me more.

Just a small sum up, if somebody still thinks that this was easy victory (2 stars in my profile proves it ).
Sorry for a bit of copypaste.

I was playing on Vita. There's system of upgrades - "gears". E.g. "+2 ammo". On ps3 you can simply buy them, on Vita you have to use Near. Devs somehow managed to block sending gifts to your friends, so to send/get one you have to be near the person with this game. And that's why it's Near to impossible to get gears on Vita. I got only one gear (+2 ammo) on Tuesday (the day I got 100%), by purchasing this game for my friend. That's it, I've got S ranks on almost all levels without it.
All levels are supposed to be beatable (and S rankable) without using gears. However some of them were glitched, e.g. in 3-1 they forgot to add detonator for TNT (I'm still waiting for confirmation form devs, by the way). By using gears it's possible to easily overcome this, but without them... it's hard. Have you ever try to solve puzzle that is broken for sure (but you don't have 100% proof of it, so you can't skip it)?
I've already described how I got S rank on 3-1, but there's much worse level - 4-4. Really, I would love to see anybody beating it, without using gears
And don't forget that they also make game easier. Have you seen progress of people with Vita's? Right now I see that nobody else got any trophies.

I had to be careful not to get Sapper/Medusa/Brutus early. I had always to think if there's a way to do what I want without increasing counters. E.g. for Medusa it's often possible to use provoke skill instead and then jump over the enemy. It's more risky (means harder) and time consuming, though.

Finishing last (or, at least, not first) was part of my plan too. Because, obviously, others will figure out what I've done and do the same. If not minimizing time of getting 100% but finishing first was my goal - I'm sure my result would have been different (btw, I was the first to beat Lone Survivor, fastest and first in Europe to beat Kickbeat (it was released 1 week earlier in the US), second to beat Stealth Inc., first/second to beat Velocity Ultra (plat was glitched), second with Knytt Underground... and 100% in all this games are ultra/veryrare).
And that's why I'm happy that's rules were not changed - because otherwise my plan would have backfired me.

If somebody wants to do the same competition - simply add unmissable trophy that is unlocked early. But actually I prefer the idea of winner being the first to beat the game (+12 hours for US, to compensate earlier release). Because otherwise anyone on ps3 can beat the game on another account and then beat it again on main.
Oh, and, please, make games goddam equal.

Haha, I had nightmares about 4-4 Seriously, I still remember this level and can run "simulation" in my head.

To BlobberTeam:
Stuff to be fixed to make getting 100% possible:
1) Hidden Labs S ranks counter (13 -> 12).
2) Level 3-13 enemy counter (21 -> 17). (vita only)
3) S rank counters recalculation on game startup.

Stuff that I'd really really want to get fixed (not blocking 100%, but still bad):
1) Level 3-1, detonator for bottom right TNT should to be added.
2) Level 3-4, "first kill" achievement time should be increased to 0:19 or 0:20 (best time possible without using gears is about 0:18.7). Without gear it's impossible to get S rank there, blocking getting 100%.
3) Level 3-7, bottom right elevator is broken and doesn't work on first key press. You have to jump and mash the button to make it work. And this level has the worst time achievement, making this situation even worse.
4) Level 3-9, slide at bottom works backwards.
5) Level 4-4, one extra construct and one extra deconstruct should be added. Or swap roles of top platform and "smashing" generators. I'm not sure about if this fixes it, actually I want to forget about this level as soon as possible >_>
6) Permit getting gifts via Near from friends. Seriously, why did you do that? No other game has such restriction.
Or remove gears on ps3. Now that would be fun ( ¬‿¬)

 

 

Oh, and I forgot to thank Sly Ripper. Thank you for dealing with all this... PSNProfiles side of this competition was perfect. I hope more game studios will cooperate with you

Last time im gonna say anything about this, I did not hack A-men 2, I have 1 blemish back from 2011, your judging me by something i did back then, not at what ive accomplished now .You have proof i cheated? Where is it? Nothing? Shut up.

 

I cant tell you everything about this game

 

S Rank (complete all side objectives) (all objectives stay with you forever) (beat stage again with highest score possible) (you could save if your score was well over required)

High Score (Try to kill multiple enemies as much as possible) (if all can be gathered before you kill them do it [Few Stages Require this])

Gears make the game easy (ask vivan with the problems he had on the vita version)

Time to complete does not matter for S rank just score and having all side objectives completed

Jumping or hoping increases movement (its faster than walking)

Getting all cogs is stupid easy Zoom out and scan the map (some are out of sight behind something but in extremely obvious places)

Play Zoomed out for better view

Mario and Luigi are dead in the sewers

Clear world 1 with out dying -------    v

Clear world 1 in under a Hour ----- You replay every stage so much you get used to it

Hardest world: For me world 1

Easiest: The rest of the game, after all the failures in world 1 i got the hang of it . (Experienced the glitch Re did every Level again nothing happened,I moved on) Did last world

My process in the competition, Aim for 1 hour and not getting killed, after i finally achieved this, I S ranked world 1, World 2 I never moved on till i had S rank, same with world 3

I went 2 day little to no sleep to beat Kev and set a unbeatable or so i thought time ( Vivan got me )

This game not really a hard game, it was a test of will, once you tore down the wall and understood what the hell your supposed to be doing it was a cakewalk

 

 

Now ask Vivan if what i said above is accurate

 

But since this wont likely convince the people who are just trolling to see if they can get MANAGEMENT to screw me from a prize, ill leave you with these #
