Another PS3 having issues connecting to the internet thread

It looks like their Twitter is blowing up, but adding some more reports will help get more attention to the problem.

I tried and they just gave me a generic, unhelpful response.

In a way I'm relieved to find this thread and find it's not just me getting this problem. Also getting what were previously intermittant, not permanent problems, in syncing trophy data and viewing friends profiles from my PS3.

Thx for the info, im giving a report too but man, it's really frustrating seeing all the responses from sony. "Everything is fine" "Rebuild the database" "Please check if your console is connected to the INTERWEBS"

I realise they're just going through their generic list of troubleshooting steps, but surely when a bunch of people are all having rather specific issues all around the same time (trophies not being able to sync, cloud saves not working, profiles not loading, etc.), you'd think they'd look into things on their end, even just a little.

Same here, same error. Tried for half an hour and right now I can say it's finally syncing trophies on my ps3. I have my avatar again too.

The error has gone away now, at least for me, and I was able to sync my trophies.

It's working without issue now, perhaps just a minute hiccup on PSN's part.

Seems like profiles and avatars are loading normally once again without errors on PS3, same goes for viewing my trophies. Haven't checked my Vita or anything else yet, seems the official website is still claiming there's issues as well, but hopefully the majority of the problems have been resolved now.

I can see my profile again and sync my trophies on my vita, but everything else is still broken. Im gonna check my PS3 later

I’m on the east coast and my ps3 or vita won’t connect and nothing works. I also have a friend in Europe who is also having the same issues 😢

My PS3 trophies just synced.

 

I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I played a PS4 game and synced. Then I turned on my PS3 and the sync worked.

 

No idea if there is any correlation but just a thought.

Its also affecting PS4. Maybe it’s the end of the road for PS4 too now that PS5 is out...

I was able to sync my PS3 trophies and friend list 20 min ago or so without doing anything special so it seems like the issue is getting resolved.
