Everytime I think I'm getting though my backlog, a package of games comes in and reminds me that I am in this for a looooong time. Couldn't not get Klonoa though. Nostalgia demands it. Speaking of Nostalgia, does AVGN count? Never played the games, but still fond memories of watching his videos in the wild west times of Youtube. I've played and Platted all the Digimon games on PS4, so let's do another one!

So, I didn't get around to posting my pickups last month, there's a bunch to catch up on. 

Hercule Poirot - The First Cases: I enjoy casual mystery games once in awhile when I'm waiting for the next Sherlock Holmes game to come out. Though I've read little by Agatha Christie, so it'll be an interesting, no expectations play of some Hercule Poirot stories. 

Beyond a Steel Sky: After watching a trailer, something I can't quite put my finger on drew me in. So, I went all in for the Steelbook Edition. 

Bugsnax: Purchased the PS4 version when it went on sale a bit out of envy for this charming game originally released on the PS5. I'd been wanting to get my hands on it, but knew a PS5 was going to be unlikely. Funny enough, I found a PS5 not long after buying this. 

Chicken Police: okay, no lie, this game has been on my radar... there are no expectations for crime fighting animals, just here for the laughs. 

Doki Doki: No good reason to buy another VN. It kept showing up in my suggestions while online shopping, the price was reasonably low & here it is. 

Harvest Moon - One World: Who'd have thought these relaxing, farm simulators would have such rare platinums? I own games in this series on nearly every console, which doesn't help me keep any of my farms straight, let me tell you - & still I start tilling away from scratch. 

Monster Harvester: Quirky looking Stardew Valley meets Monster raising? That's what I'm getting from the title/box art.

Stubbs the Zombie: Again, like Chicken Police, just here for mindless humor.

Finally bit the bullet and got these.  Happy with Utawarerumono as physical is getting hard to find, even online, and also means I can finally start on the trilogy.

Finally able to find a physical copy of Cat Quest 1 & 2, already platinum the first game and now it's time for its purrsome sequel ?.  Soon ( dependent on backlog of course) i will start my journey with the Tales series, especially hype for Berseria. Now that i think of it better to also watch the anime adaption of Zestiria?.

Finally a decent Turtles game I can play. Will play it later on with friends, but working on other projects atm.

- Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne, Devil May Cry 4 SE, The Last Guardian, Final Fantasy 8 Remastered, NieR Replicant and Persona 5 Royal  -

 

I bought these games on July, today arrived the last one which was P5R it was a shame that the disc was loose so I had to unsealed it right away. By far my favorites ones where DMC4 and Final Fantasy 8 which I can't wait to play, I'll add individual pics just to add a little more of background. These are going to be probably the last videogames I buy in a while, since I started a new collecting project.

 

 

- Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne

I haven't play this game but I really want to play it, since I always had an interest on the megami tensei games, all I know is the this game is hard, and it's the dark souls of jrp hahah jk. 

 

- Devil May Cry 4 SE

This is one of my favorite games of all time, I played this game on the ps3 all the time when I was 7 or 8 years, I remember that I wanted to be as Nero when I grew up haha. This is the Asia version of dmc4se, thankfully its a full bilingual copy I don't know why Capcom didn't publish a physical format outside of Japan and Asia. Still this version looks sick!

 

- The Last Guardian

Not much to say here, I found this game on a local store for a very cheap price and of course I'm hoping to get a Shadow of the Colossus copy.

 

- Final Fantasy 8 Remastered

What can I say about FF8, despite the combat mechanic being unnecessary confusing this game is perfect. And I like this cover art hahaha, I found weird and odd cover arts awesome. 

 

- NieR Replicant

l also bought NieR for the ps3, since I played Automata I fell in love with Nier, I'm only missing NieR Replicant for the ps3. Probably I'll play these game next.

 

- Persona 5 Royal

Took a while for it to arrive but it's finally here, unfortunately I had to unseal this game right away because the disc was loose. I haven't played Royal and I'm looking to end this year with a turn base jrpg marathon haha.

Picked up samurai jack battle through time from the recent sale because im paranoid its gonna be delisted in the near future with how david zazlav is literally running warner bros into the ground at such a rapid pace. Probably gonna buy akibas trip hellbound and debriefed tomorrow once i cash in a 30$ winning scratch off ticket i got lucky on.
