Yakuza 3 on PS5 through BC?

This might be an interesting question and im not sure anyone can answer it but i sure hope so. I know about the increased fps on the ps4 version making certain minigames harder, pool for example.

Im currently on kiwami 2 playing it exclusively on the ps5 and my plan is to do the same with yakuza 3 when i get around to it.

My question is, would playing yakuza 3 on the ps5 further increase the fps somehow, making the minigames harder or more sensitive? Can anyone with the game who completed it, might test it?

I've played through the game on PS5. I don't know if it's more sensitive than it should be since I haven't played on PS2 or PS4, but now I've done every minigame except Pool and Golf and they were all fine. I didn't have problems with any of them.

But Pool is ridiculously hard. So hard I actually gave up. I can tell it's overly sensitive, but I heard that was the case even before PS5. I guess I might try on PS4 to see if it's better there, but I'm not sure if I'd be able to do it even with improved controls.

Thanks, good to know! ? Cant you just brute force pool? The ai can make mistakes right?

They can sometimes, but I'm not good enough to take advantage of it when they do

Early on, they screwed up and I somehow managed to beat the expert AI in one of the modes, but I tried for hours after that and never came close to winning on the other two modes

I recommend using a piece of paper to help line up shots and always look at the controller when pulling the stick back so that you're absolutely sure you're pulling it straight back and the same amount.

I doubt the PS5 would affect it too much. I don't think it plays at a higher framerate than the remaster already does.

I’ve just done 0-3 on Ps5 and had no real issue. Ex hard baseball was very tight but manageable. I don’t think it’s open frame rate, think it’s locked

The pool isn't as bad as people make it sound. It's a problem of framerate AND the deadzone on newer controllers. Do yourself a favor and play it via remoteplay to vita or via another controller like a Hori gamepad. You'll notice it being ALOT better about the shots going everywhere. It is a feature in the ps3 games too, but only if you really go hard to a side.
