Vaudeville Legend! Easy way

I recently discovered a trick to get all the stars in a much easier way. Apparently the stars are accumulative for the trophy in the three difficulties, so it would not be necessary to get the 5 stars in each level.

This I discovered when I started the game by mistake on hard, achieving only one star. Later I realized it and started over on easy. Once the first act is over. I replayed the levels to get 5 stars in each level, finally I got 5 stars in all the levels except 4, which reached 4 stars. So I had 24 stars, even so, the 25-star trophy appeared, and I deduced that the number 25 was the one I got playing hard.

I don't know if it will only work for the 25-star trophy, but that has happened to me.

I'm playing on psvita, I don't know if it will be important. Hopefully this trick works for the all star trophy.

Nice maybe it works for the other trophys aswell. 

Maybe i try it out sometimes and keep u updated.

Just checked, you can easily obtain Vaudeville Legend! by collecting stars from other difficulties
You just need to collect 110 stars.

Hi

Just passing by to tell you that currently it´s impossible to get the platinum trophy in europe. The servers are down, so you can´t get the multiplayer trophy. The only way to get it is to play the us version, or play with someone from there. Or at least that´s what I´ve read...

i just tried it today and yes u can do that with all the difficults u dont need 5 stars in every level!

If you have psvita and a ps4 you can get it easly. I got the platinum indeed. You only need a ps4 with USA account and your own ID on your Vita

Nice find. I can confirm that it works at least for 25 (in retrospect, I discovered this similar to you, playing on Veteran first by mistake, but didn't pay attention to the star total I had) and 50 stars, respectively. Probably will work for the rest too.

 

Based on this, I tested if it is possible to do all three challenges for the same stage on another difficulty to unlock charms, because some of them I just can't do. Sadly, it doesn't work for charms, only for stars.

Can you unlock charms by going through the entire game again but only on easy?

Yes ...

 

There are 17 charms and 17 stages, each stage has three challenges. Complete all three challenges for a stage on one difficulty, and you unlock a charm. So two challenges on Veteran and the last one on Understudy does nothing, as does all three von Understudy if you already have done them on Lead for that particular stage. You can replay a stage as often as you like, you don't have to do all three challenges in one run.

Thanks Infernopommes, I had a go on the first stage on another difficulty level, and boom. Trophy popped, thanks.

 

Some of the challenges are tough, I could never save at least one sailor from the squid attack. And it takes so long to get there as well.

It may also work for Daemonologist (all charms unlocked), I got a beneficial bug that unlocked the trophy not as it was intended.
As I was going to gain more stars for Vaudeville legend, I replayed the first two levels on normal difficulty and cleared their challenges again.

 

I had 16 charms, just the last one missing from act 4-4 (Elevator with lots of cult minions to fight, getting 5 perfect scenes is quite tough).
My trophy unlocked at the moment I cleared the third challenge from act 1-2, but fun stuff is I'm unable to equipe that last charm, and its icon is not displaying in charms choice.
