Popular Post Sergen
Flames of Ambition is finally here on console and now you can use your Champion Points in the "craft" tree to buy various passives that allow you to increase your rare fish drop rate and also lessen the amount of time it takes to reel fish in by 25%. Firstly what you'll want to do is navigate to the "Champion" section in your user interface, then move the cursor to the left and go to "Craft", now below is a step by step route to take in order to get those all important fishing passives, to spend points in a passive, you need to hold and if you spend too many points in a passive you can hold to take points out and you can hold to redistribute points if you've already allocated CP in the wrong place: 1. Spend 10 points in Gilded Fingers. 2. Spend 10 points in Fortune's Favor. 3. Spend 15 points in Wanderer. 4. Spend 10 points in Steadfast Enchantment. 5. Spend 50 points in Treasure Hunter. 6. Spend 15 points in Master Gatherer. 7. Spend 10 points in Plentiful Harvest. 8. Spend 25 points in Homemaker. After doing the above 8 steps, you'll finally reach "Reel Technique: Decreases the time it takes for a fish to bite by 25%" which will cost 50 points to get and finally after that you'll unlock "Angler's Instincts: Increases your chance of catching higher quality fish" which will cost you 25 points. After you've unlocked both "Reel Technique and "Angler's Instincts", you must press to add them to your active bar, this is necessary because these two particular champion abilities are active abilities and not passive, meaning they must be added to the bar in order to use them. When you do press you will see the circles at the top light up, simply press again to add these two passives to your active craft tree bar. All in all to do all of this you must have 660 champion points because you earn a point for each specific tree every time you level up, which means unfortunately if you have 220 champion points you're not allowed to just stick them all in craft, you always get a point for only one of the three trees per time you level up. They have flattened the curve on this game to allow you to level up quicker up until you hit champion 1800, however as someone who may only work on the platinum and not the DLC maybe you won't feel like grinding to champion 660, because it might take you longer to reach that level than it would take you to get the trophy without the champion points. As someone who wants to do the DLC though you will certainly need to get more than 660 CP to endure the content comfortably. Best of luck with whichever route you take, I am simply writing this thread to link it into my existing Master Fisher guide as an option players can take to improve their chances of catching rare fish.
