RadiantFlamberge
Nintendo is reportedly adopting a newer model Nvidia chip for a new Switch system planned for the end of '21. It will support Nvidia DLSS (deep learning supersampling) to get 4K visuals in docked mode. The handheld screen is to be upgraded to OLED, like PSVita. It will have more RAM and a faster CPU. DLSS is nice, but I don't think we'll see it in older games. Games need to be built to support it. Sounds like a plan. Looks like Nintendo is stepping up their tech a bit. They really need to, especially with PS5 and XSX out there. I doubt it will be as powerful as these systems, but hopefully the gap won't be as wide this time. It will probably cost more than original Switch but less than the PS5/XSX. I guess $350-425 sounds about right.
Crispy_Oglop
This combined with the rumour that it is launching this year....I can literally hear the scalpers getting turned on from here.
RadiantFlamberge
I'll bet they are. The chip shortage problems could last most of the year, even if they may slightly ease up. So the Switch 2 could have a PS5 fiasco all over again.

If it means them easing off from PS5 stocks, I won't mind.
