Ps3 Digitally exclusive recommendations

Hey everyone so I just heard that Sony is shutting down the ps3 stores, even though it wasn’t “perfect” it’s still sad to see it go. Anyways before it goes I’m just wondering if there’s any digital exclusives I’ve missed out on and since there going to be gone for good it’s now or never. I’d also like to hear any ps1 games on store. Here’s the digital games I’ve already played (might have more but these are ones I remember).

Be sure to look up the PS Japan Studios games like Rain, they're great and the sort of thing playstation just doesn't do anymore

Any DLC for games you want to play in the future; examples would be Bioshock, Assassins creed, Resident Evil, Boarderlands, COD, Farcry Yettis DLC, really up to your own discretion and up to you to go through what you want to play in the future.

These are just to name some, but im sure there will be heaps, way too many to remember and list here, maybe this would be worth it's own thread, + vita titles included

I am pretty sure avatars are also going to go away, better to be safe than sorry, maybe it would be worth taking a look through all the avatars on the PS3.

They are a download code, one time use of course. I wish they were on disc.

Except for Infamous, these are all available physically as well. Hopefuly their prices won't skyrocket now...

I tried to buy Ratchet and Clank trilogy physically last month but the price is already high.

Interesting I just assumed thatgamecompanys games were just digital I also completely forgot they’re was a sly trilogy HD collection. I’ll check these out and some of the avatars too. Thanks

Invizimals: the Lost Kingdom has a physical release in PAL regions (I've got an Australian one, but there's European ones as well).
Rain has a physical release in Japan, Asia and South Korea. The Asian version, Lost in the Rain, includes English (it has a separate trophy list to the NA/PAL digital one though).
The Last Guy has a physical release in Japan and Asia and the Asian version includes English.

I think the rest are all digital-only on PS3. Echochrome has a physical release on PSP everywhere except North America, but the PS3 version is digital-only.

Woah thanks that’s a lot of recommendations. Might not be able to go through them all though. I actually remember Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter way back in the day. It’s interesting seeing how much I missed out on.

The physical version of Last Guy has a different stack than the digital release, correct? I'll have to look into the other ones, I'll edit my post to reflect it.

They're available physically as "God of War: Origins Collection" in North America and "God of War Collection Volume II" in Europe.

There's actually a section on the PS3 called "Top Digital-Only Games." Anyway, I'll give some recommendations. 

 

Some of these may be available on disc that was a special release or something, or on PS4, but I think they're mostly digital only.

Duck Tales Remastered (looks like there's a high priced disc version)

Galaga Legions DX

Pac-Man Championship Edition DX

Tokyo Jungle

 

For PSOne Classics, I'll highly recommend the Suikoden series in general. Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross are pretty good too.
