Platinum Difficulty

You could use the Playstation Trophies guide

https://www.playstationtrophies.org/game/the-guided-fate-paradox-english/guide/

But you may also want to dig through GameFaqs threads to find info on certain things

Edit: The gamefaqs guide is quite good actually, might be better than the pst one

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps3/680713-the-guided-fate-paradox/faqs/68288

The platinum is quite tough, have a flash drive at the ready and be backing up your save file whenever possible for the post-game stuff.

This platinum is very grindy, but it's not extraordinarily difficult once you understand the various systems within the game.  You'll spend a lot of time building up your equipment sets (plural) to the point where you can tackle the strongest enemies in the hardest dungeon and survive 200 levels of that plus the boss at the end.

It's tedious.  It's time-consuming.  In those aspects, it's a lot like many of NISA's other games -- such as the Disgaea series.  But that's where the intimidating parts come in; the game isn't quite so difficult as it is frequently made out to be.  Not once you've ascended the learning curve and know what you're doing.

What are the exploits the guide is refering to, just save scumming?

Save scumming yes, but there's also an Infinite EN glitch you can use

This glitch prevents your EN from draining when you begin a dungeon. To do this, you'll need to do the following:

  1. Put Energy Saver on Renya's/current Angel helper's Divinigram.
  2. Enter a dungeon, walk a few steps, and use an Exit.
  3. Remove Energy Saver.
  4. With any luck, when you enter the next dungeon, your EN will no longer drain every 10 turns.

Keep in mind this trick isn't guaranteed to work all the time, and it may take 10+ tries before it actually works. Also, throwing enemies will still drain EN. You can tell that the glitch worked if you hold O + X and the EN won't lower like usual. This trick also works with Hybrid, but is confined to Renya's first Divinigram, and takes up a LOT more room.

It's been a long time since I last played this, so I don't remember much. But I remember doing this at some point

Anything would be better than a pst guide.

I hope it's facetious because otherwise it's retarded. The guide is done by Green Z-saber, a well-known DIsgaea speedrunner and trophy guide writer. I used his guide when I was going for my platinum and it worked great.
