Glitch in Speedrun Well Death Wish

I cannot complete this Death Wish because there's a wall of fire that prevents from going where I'm supposed to. Has anyone else got this?

You need to go into the base level and lower the fire walls by burning the portraits.  There are 3 sets, but you can get to the well by lowering the first 2. 

 

You'll also need to go back into alpine village and blow all the horns to do the death wishes there.  

 

I'm not sure why, but for whatever reason the patch has reset all of the world states to the beginning of the game.
