(False) server shutdown

Well they have pretty much confirmed the shutdown of FC2 on Ps3 as well, so I would rush to do AC games asap.

The fact that the link posted (https://support.ubisoft.com/en-GB/Article/000064576) says:

The online multiplayer services for the titles listed below have now been shut down.

 

And that AC Brotherhood is not in fact shut down, should make people skeptical of this information. Especially when this link (https://forums.ubisoft.com/showthread.php/1241617-Online-Services-Update-Masterlist-Forums) is more credible, has actual date/time of updates, and identifies who updated the information.

 

If anyone is going to waste customer services time and ask for confirmation (history has shown they have no idea and will just parrot whatever information you feed them), be sure to provide both links when you ask so I can see the smoke coming out of the reps ears from here while their brain gets caught in a boot loop.

 

I also advocate for finishing MP if you have started as well (and need to myself), but just because it's pretty old at this point, not because of fear of this incompetently created page.

Yeah I can confirm the servers are still up. Even if I couldn't find anyone, I could still navigate through the multiplayer menu.

Thanks. I have updated the main post and title once more to take note of this information, now that it's been confirmed by multiple players.

 

If mods wanna close this now, feel free to do so. I thought for some reason we could close our own threads, but a quick search told me otherwise.
