Popular Post Abby_TheLastofUs
It is 1934, in the far reaches of the South Pacific. Norah has crossed the ocean following the trail of her missing husband’s expedition and finds herself on a lush island paradise - a nameless, forgotten place, dotted with the remnants of a lost civilization. What strange secrets does it hold, and what might Norah unearth in her quest for the truth?Explore a stunning tropical island (meticulously modelled in Unreal Engine 4), brimming with fantastic sights, lost ruins and occult mysteries.Experience a charming character study of a woman on her quest to discover the truth of the disappearance of her husband and to find out who she really is, fully voiced by Cissy Jones (Firewatch, The Walking Dead: Season 1).Immerse yourself in a story-driven adventure full of emotion, suspense and surreal surprises.Investigate the clues left by a previous voyage, piece together what happened, and solve a variety of clever puzzles. This is an easy platinum if you use a guide. It's the same list as Xbox achievements which has a difficulty rating of 1. There are no missables because of chapter select. You can use the Xbox achievement guide if you need a walkthrough. It isn't spoiler-free so be aware of that. Or you could use this video walkthrough if you prefer. Loreic
I'm looking forward to playing this. I love the look of the environments and the atmosphere. It reminds me of Myst in many ways. Glad to see this will be an easy and enjoyable platinum, with a guide at least ? Edited May 11, 2021 by Loreic
Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
I watched the Playstation Access channel play around with it on stream yesterday and it looks really nice visually with some interesting puzzle solving elements. I might actually pick this up. Nice that a guide is out there for it, but I'll probably go through my first run blind and then use a guide on a second run. I always find going in with a guide on the first playthrough with these sorts of games kills my sense of discovery completely and it feels like this game hinges itself on discovery.

More of the latter... I played it on PC and was disappointed. I think it's a boring game. I quit my playthrough halfway through and watched the ending on YT. Cuz.. y'know .. fast forward. I played this on Steam. It is much walking simulator with OK history and not heavy puzzle lik Myst and Obduction. But very easy to get Platinum. Popular Post ZenaxPure
I got all the achievements on the xbox version, absolutely not a "walking simulator" compared to something like Gone Home or Everybody's Gone to the Rapture. Most of the game is structured in a way where you'll go to an area where you need to figure out 1 big elaborate puzzle to progress and you do that by solving other smaller puzzles to make the big one available or give you the knowledge you need to solve it. My main advice for trophies is that while the game does have a chapter select, unless it's changed for this version of the game you can only start from the beginning of the chapter. So if you've missed something for your notebook that is at the very end of the chapter it means you'll have to play the whole thing to get that one entry. Not too big of a deal for the first 3 chapters, but chapters 4 and 5 in particular are pretty long. My advice is once you've finished the first big puzzle of those chapters (very obvious as they will open a new pathway for you to leave the current area you're in) just make a save file you can come back to later. The game gives you like 4 save slots iirc? Notebook progress is not based on the individual save so you can jump around freely. I went into the game blind and even with chapter select pretty much had to play through the whole game twice to get everything I missed.
supkris
This is not a walking sim. A pure point and click type adventure game. Fun little game with some neat puzzles. There was only one puzzle towards the end of chapter 3 that was absurd. Completed Xbox and PC back to back on gamepass. Will get this one later on sale.
ABE_915
I think lens aligner in Chapter 2 is bugged, literally tried for a good 30 minutes, mine looked exactly as it was in guide but still nothing happened. I don't know has anyone else gotten this or is it just me?

Flipendo52
I like a lot of walking sims but this game is boring imo. Don't really have any emotional attachment to any of the characters, the puzzles are boring and this game commits the cardinal sin of having a slow "run" speed so it takes probably twice as long as it would if you could move around the game world freely

It was fixed with latest patch I believe as I was able to move on to platting the game. Thanks for the reply though.
Vault-TecPhantom
As others have said, this is absolutely not a walking sim - not that there's anything wrong with walking sims - this just isn't. It's a story driven puzzle adventure game and an enjoyable one at that. I completed it blind with no guides on my first run and then cleaned up trophies on chapter select with some guides, and that's honestly the way I would recommend doing it. The fun is in those awesome eureka moments. My favourite thing about it is that every chapter gets bigger with the puzzles seeming more and more intimidating at first, but once you analyse everything you've acquired when exploring the map you realise how simple the puzzles really. I don't even think it's an exaggeration to say that Harry and Norah pretty much solve the most crucial steps of the puzzles for the player... And as mentioned by another poster, I like how it eases you into the big elaborate puzzles at the end of each chapter by making you do the smaller aspects to it beforehand throughout the map so you can then apply that knowledge later. The main character's dialogue delivery is annoying and the unskippable cutscenes are brutal when doing trophy clean up in chapter select but, other than those issues, a fine little indie game. Gonna speedrun the platinum on the PS4 version shortly.
