Full House - Getting children

Hey trophy hunters,

Most guides on the internet say that there are 2 requirements for your wife/husband to ask for children but I found out the hard way that there is an option that prevents children from appearing.

 

1. Marry someone and keep a 10-heart status or more

2. Upgrade your house.

3. Don't select "Remove crib" under "Make House Renovations".

 

After these requirements you have a 1/20 (5%)

chance to get asked for a child when you go to bed (apparently any time).

 

I did remove the crib because I needed space for interior design ?.
