madisonde Posted April 9, 2021 Share Posted April 9, 2021 I've beat Kaos twice now without changing Skylanders and didn't get the trophy either time. I have ownership of the Skylander I used so I don't think that is part of the issue. Do I need to watch the cutscene without skipping it? Do I need to play through the Kaos's Lair level without switching Skylanders either? This is my final trophy before the platinum and I really want to figure this out. Evers_cl Posted April 9, 2021 Share Posted April 9, 2021 From the guide: "At the end of the final level you be facing against Kaos and you have to defeat all his minions from all across his fights in the past, his four headed dragon (aka his elemental attacks), and Kaos all at the time.For this trophy you need to beat the entire fight with one Skylander while not switching it out or dying. If your Skylander does die you have to restart the chapter and start over again. If the Skylander dies you are forced to restart. It's highly recommend to have a level 10 Skylander and have all upgrades for that Skylander you are using. Below is a video if you a rough idea of how to get this trophy." By board flip, do you mean when the castle turns over and Kaos shows up? If so, then yes, I didn't change skylanders after that, I only used Trigger Happy to fight. I did switch my skylander right after the end screen show up for Kaos's Lair though, maybe I need to switch to Trigger Happy before that screen pops up? I imagine the solution was to switch to the Skylander you want to use in the fight BEFORE the 3 star end screen pops up (or during the end screen, though I can't confirm that), but I also watched the cutscene and credits without skipping them because I was paranoid.
