Wednesday April 14 2021 is the Last Day to Start "Widely Regarded" and Finish on Time.

If you have not started working on the Widely Regarded trophy. (Which requires you to reach max reputation (600) with Von Bach Industries, Soleptor Enterprises, Top Notch Toolworks and Echelon.) Wednesday April 14 2021 is the last day you can start working on that trophy and still obtain it by the shutdown date. (Thursday April 29 2021). 

 

Here's a google spreadsheet I created about a week ago. It shows the minimum reputation you will have to be at on each day to finish by the 29th as well as what reputation you will be at after doing the daily and weekly contracts for each day starting on the last possible day (Wednesday April 14 2021) to start working on this trophy. 

 

The minimum reputation required assumes you finish the weekly contracts by Sunday. 

 

Remember: You get double reputation per contract completed until the shutdown date. So each day is +20 and each week is +100. That means it will take at least 2 weeks to obtain this trophy assuming you work on the daily contracts everyday and weekly contracts every week 

 

Remember: There is no daily reset on the 29th. If you are not at or above 600 after the daily reset on the 28th you will not be able to get the Widely Regarded Trophy or the Platinum.

 

Daily resets happen everyday at 0700z and weekly resets happen every Monday at 0700z.

Also do not forgot that you cab purchase reputation on Alcatraz with bits, 30 bits 100 reputation.

You can't buy bits or anything anymore so that's only useful to those who already have them.

With the help of a clan that took me in 3 days before the end, I managed to get the platinum only a few hours before they turned off the servers. I stuck around for the end... it was surprisingly intimate: maybe about 30 people in the starter area jumping around and everyone saying nice things about their time in the game in the zone chat.

Came across some real good peeps in the final weeks... and had some fun at launch. Also some assholes, but that's bound to happen with these sorts of games.

 

Lasted almost 8 years. Pretty good run, I think.

I jumped on for the end as well and saw everyone gathered around saying their bit before they hit the switch. It sounded like there was a pretty amazing and dedicated community surprisingly given how old the game was and Trion's lack of support with the game's issues.
