Warlord glitch step by step

I've been helping a few people and everyone I seem to help always asks me how to do the warlord glitch, so I've done up a step by step guide to help walk people through. Remember, as long as you don't place all your diamonds,  you cannot mess it up so bad it can't be recovered.

 

If the are going to do the glitch straight away from level 1, 0xp, scroll down to about half way through the guide.

Warlord Glitch lvl 20 to trophy pop 

 

From level 20 to trophy pop it's about 2 and a half hours. It's pretty simple, especially if you have alts. 

 

I placed all my diamonds, except for those of the saboteur. Leaving the saboteur till after you do the glitch is easiest as it leaves only two guns, and they are both pretty quick and painless.

 

Whatever you do, don't place all your diamonds in or you screw yourself out of the glitch. 

 

To derank you'll need just one alt or buddy to help. At this time either account can host, doesn't matter. Force launch the first match (Uprising, Last Bastion map) and before you spawn hit triangle, which will reset all your diamonds and derank you one rank. 

Then have your alt/buddy capture all the points and kill your main to end the match. 

 

Once you are back in the lobby, go to load out and place one diamond in (doesn't matter where). Once you have done that force launch the match. 

 

You then rinse and repeat. Remove the diamond before you spawn, capture the points with your alt/buddy, kill your main and end the match, and you're now another level down. 

 

Do this until you are rank 1 with 0xp 

 

ITS VERY IMPORTANT YOUR MAIN DOES NOT EARN ANY XP DURING THIS PROCESS AS IT CAN BUGGER UP THE XP. YOU MUST BE AT LVL1 AND 0XP FOR IT TO WORK. 

 

It's not game breaking, but it can mean having to redo the deranking process. Just from level 4, but its still a pain.

 

IF YOU WANT TO DO THE GLITCH FIRST AND YOU ARE LEVEL 1 WITH 0XP YOU CAN START HERE.

 

To activate the glitch exit all accounts out of the game and restart. This ensures a fresh lobby for the glitch, which is important cause if the lobby crashes it won't work.

 

Restart the game and have your alt/buddy host the match (It may be helpful to add a second alt/buddy here as you'll be trying to hit over 1500xp for the round, but its not essential). 

 

This first round your main must win by earning more than 1500xp. So kill your alts/buddies till you hit 1500xp, then you run around, capture all the points and kill the alt capitan to end the match and put you over the 1500xp for the round (it'll be around 1545xp). 

 

If you used an additional alt/buddy, once you get back to the lobby remove the alt/buddy that's not hosting the match, so you are left with your main and the alt/buddy host in the lobby. 

 

After that match your main will be level 4 again. You need to derank back down to level 1 using exactly the same method you used previously. 

 

Once you are back down to level 1, wait till you are back in the lobby, then press the playstation button on your main and quit the game from the xmb. Your alt/buddy needs to stay in the lobby so your main can rejoin.  

 

Restart the game from your main account. Go to multiplayer, ranked match, and you should see your level is now level 30. Rejoin the lobby with your alt/buddy and force launch the game. Once the game has been launched the trophy will pop. 

 

The first thing you should do it place all your diamonds. At level 30 it gives you all your diamonds back, but once you start earning xp again it will reset you back to level 1. It won't matter as you've already popped the trophy, but having all your diamonds placed locks them in once your level resets. 

 

You can then finish your manuals and you're done!!

Change your psn id, then just do the glitch. Game does not recognize change so you can do it this way.

 

You can always revert to your old ID by contacting sony, and even when you then start up the game, your old stats will show up

Maybe you can add something because the step by step plan was at one point different for me. I always had the problem when I was saving stats, that I have to rejoin twice in order to make the game count my stats (or rejoin three times if the lobby crashes). So about the step by step plan. I went all the way down to level 1 with 0 xp. I then got more than 1500 xp and won the game in the next step. I followed the next steps of deleveling and restarting the game. Here comes the part which was different to me. When I entered MP I was level 1 with 50xp. So I had to rejoin again (rejoin in terms of going into the DLC kind of store, so that I can go bakc in to the MP a second time). The Level 1 with 50xp changed to level 30 with -100 xp.

What I am trying to say is that if you did everything according to the steps but stil end up with level 1 after resarting the game, then go once in the DLC/additonal content store and back out in order to move a second time in to the MP -> this might help you.

I just had a go at doing this with one alt and wasn't close to getting 1500xp. One of my controllers is a bit old so was hard controlling. The game timed out at 15 mins so now I have my main at rank three and both accounts are still in the lobby. What do I do from here? Does the 1500XP have to be in one round? Also who is the alt captain? Does he appear when all spawns are captured?

Did you earn your 1500xp in one round?

Yes, the final step for the glitch requires you to earn over 1500xp in a single match. This might be tricky to manage with just one alt if you haven't learned the game yet (best spawns etc).

 

If you are rank 3 now, you have unlocked some diamonds. If you follow the guide, it tells you how to lower your rank by placing these diamonds and then resetting them. You can lose one rank per match, and you can end the match quickly by capturing the points and killing the enemy captain. Each team has one captain (randomly selected). If you are only using one alt, then that is the captain by default.

 

There are a few different paths to do the glitch from where you are. I would suggest first making sure you can earn 1500xp in one match, or arrange someone else to help if you can't. Then drop down to rank 1 by resetting your diamonds. And finally do the glitch (by doing all of this in one session: earn 1500xp+, derank again to rank 1, then reboot the game).

Did you earn your 1500xp in one round?

 Yes I did manage to get 1500xp in one round and at the same time I won the game (not sure if that is requiered but I did that too)

If you are below 1500 xp in a match, then you have to derank to level 1 with 0xp. And then restart the game as mentiont by OJ

Thanks guys, I've managed to derail to level 1 but I don't know how ppl can get 1500 with just one additional guy. I might need to borrow a friends ps3.
