Ryan Industries
I have compiled a list of all the weapons I’ve found over my 3 playthroughs. I listed the first location I discovered the weapon (locations may vary for you) and provided some location pics. If you are going to copy and paste this guide onto another trophy/achievement website, please have the decency to give me credit for my work, unlike the user on TrueAchievements. NOTE: Some weapons have fixed locations (ex: the Crossbow at Crash Site) while others are randomly generated (ex: in footlockers & crates). If you do not find the weapon you need, you can always load up a previous save and enter an area again (as long as you haven't completed it). Be sure to thoroughly search an area after you have dealt with all the enemies. Steyr SSG 08 First Location Discovered: Research Lab Other Possible Locations: Black Merc Base, Guard Base, Village, Castle Gate Special Weapons: Alien Gun (Required for Alien ) Only Location: Secret Place (You must first go to the Research Lab and interact with the map on a table at the end of the level. After leaving the Research Lab, the Secret Place will appear on the map). (Video) (Credit For Video: The Hidden Object Guru) SIDE NOTE: I highly recommend getting this gun and saving it for the Castle level. At the end of the game you have to take out a squad of mercenaries and two super-soldiers. The gun should one shot a super-soldier easily if you aim for the head. The gun only holds one "bullet" and alien ammo is extremely rare. Besides the ammo that is given to you at the UFO (2 bullets), I only found alien ammo (1 bullet) once at the Castle Gate level, near the helicopter. Bliss Launcher First Location Discovered: Black Merc Base (In a locked prison cage with infected - you need to bring a multi-tool to pick open the door) (Link) Other Possible Locations: Research Lab (Link) SIDE NOTE: A useless weapon that I wouldn't recommend keeping. Crossbow Only Location: Crash Site (On a table, near a tractor, on the left side of the area) (Link) SIDE NOTE: Crossbow ammo is pretty rare to find, so I wouldn't recommend keeping it as it takes up precious inventory space at the beginning of the game. Areas (Tourist): PHASE 1 Areas (8): Tutorial, Sewer Exit (If you skip the tutorial you start here), Clearing, School, Crash Site, Military Camp, Plantation & Bridge PHASE 2 Areas (6): Water Reservoir, Jungle, Prison, Radio Tower, Guard Base & Rebel Hideout PHASE 3 Areas (7): Black Merc Base, Research Lab, Secret Place, Village, Harbor, Castle Gate & Castle Interior Ambush & Convoy areas are also REQUIRED for Tourist Ambushes & Convoys: Here's the frustrating part of the trophy. I'm not sure about the exact amount of areas for ambushes & convoys since they have at least two starting points for each area and some users claim that each starting point counts towards the total. Also depending on the enemy count makes them unique, despite the maps being identical. On top of that confusion, Tourist is glitched because mine unlocked on an area that I already visited in a previous playthrough (Harbor). Once you load into an area, it counts towards the trophy, you do not need to complete them (I know this because I only completed one convoy across my three playthroughs) but feel free to do them if you want. Convoys Strategy: Convoys only come from two places, from the Guard Base (to the Prison) & from the Black Merc Base (to the Castle Gate). What I did was, I'd make a save if Alvita told me a convoy was coming (blue marker), I'd send a rebel attack to stall the convoy, then when I was one move away, I'd overwrite the previous save, enter the convoy area, make a new save, then reload my previous save before I entered it, rinse and repeat. Phase 1 - Ambush Areas: 1 (vs. 4 enemies) No Pic Phase 2 - Ambush Areas: 2 (vs. 6 enemies) Forest with Straight Path Forest with Zig Zag Path Phase 3 - Ambush Areas: 3 (vs. 8 enemies) Crossroads Forest with Straight Path Forest with Zig Zag Path Convoys (Phase 2 & 3) Forest with Straight Path Forest with Zig Zag Path *There is rumored 3rd area, but I honestly don't remember entering it* Edited September 1, 2023 by FallenRyan Final Update: Light/Dark Mode Compatible - September 1, 2023
ThatDrunkGuy
Nice job on this, but yeah I can't remember where the machete can be found. I don't own the game, so I can't load up to look at the map. If my memory still works after all this beer...lol...I think it was a map with lots of trees. A set map, not a patrol or abush...I know that's not very helpful. Plantation, the two maps where you pick up mercs(Fidel and whoever you choose), or Prison also come to mind. Other than that what I do remember is the Steam forums for this game had some useful information and some of the weapons(probably this one) are RNG...which sucks. Good luck!
Ryan Industries
FINALLY! I found the stupid machete. Out of desperation, I looked on Youtube to see if anyone did a playthrough of this awful game and one user I came across had a machete in there inventory. They picked it up at the Guard Base, so I loaded up my save just before I entered the base, killed everyone, checked all three footlockers but couldn't find it. Loaded up the save again and entered the base, killed everyone, remotely looted the footlockers and there it was..... Ryan Industries
Got the Platinum a few hours ago, so this will probably be my final update to the thread. If anyone has any questions regarding any trophies, feel free to either post in this thread or send me a private message.

dwamaliki
Hi Thank you for this list! It helped me a lot along with a small guide found on steam community (I don't know if I can post link here). Lord of War and Tourist popped both in a Castle Gate and Castle Interior respectively. For me however stupid machete spawned in one of the crates in Castle Gate. I think many weapons are randomly placed as about 1/5 of them I found in totally other places.. My 2 cents: You don't need to pick up Smoke Grenade as I got Lord of War before I touched grenades. Blue Raja gltiched for me instead. I found all 4 kitchen utensils and killed the soldier (not silently of course) with each one, but trophy didn't pop :/ i wonder if you just need to finish someone with kitchen utensil or you have to hit opponent with kitchen utensil ONLY until he dies... Glad it helped. The trophy glitched for me as well. What I did was I made (3) separate saves with different utensils. Load up a save, get a kill, save the game, load up the next save, get a kill, rinse and repeat until the trophy unlocked.
dwamaliki
Thanks for this tip. I think I'll try this in my next playthrough. Now I'll try to do Small Team and Team Player on the same save file but on easy this time. No stealth, just shootout :). After Small Team I'm going to load up save file at the beginning of 3rd phase and recruit 3rd member of a team (and the last unused merc) to do Team Player. Do you think it is going to work this way or 3rd full playthrough is unavoidable?

It should work since the data saves to the profile but I did 3 full playthroughs since I screwed up with my save management. In case you were wondering, I used Raven and Grunty for my Small Team. Raven is the best merc in the game in my opinion and is really good at sniping enemies while in tall grass (stealth), Grunty is really good at killing super soldiers up close with a shotgun (especially during the Lab). I used stealth for most of the beginning levels and on the Black Merc Base & Castle levels. For the Castle level you should make sure to bring a sniper rifle with a silencer (make a save before you rest, then keep crafting until you get a silencer, reload the save if you don't). I would kill about 8-10 enemies silently before going guns blazing during the final level. Once you get into the castle and kill the enemies near the stairs, if you wait around 5-10 turns, the ambush enemies will spawn from the doors on the left and right sides. I would kill them all by tossing grenades and/or using a rifle with a grenade launcher. It makes it easier to wait and kill them all at once so you can just focus on the mercs in the final room. I chose Grunty and Viki for this playthrough. I assume that having a mechanic in a team will let me go through the levels very quickly (on easy) because I'm not going to care about weapons and armor as I will repair them after each battle (for free, the only cost is losing one turn). Besides I think I will need to rest many times between the maps because I assume I will get hurt badly because of massive shootout But definitely I will give shotgun to Grunty and let him do the job. I think stealth will be needed in the part 3 where supersoldiers come because It's easy to be overhelmed by them. So sniper rifle with silencer will be in use indeed Once again thanks for all the tips!
Grondziu
Does anyone have an idea what can be done with lord of war? I found all weapons at least twice. Do I have to take them not using automatic search? Do I have to kill using them? Have them equipped? Keep them through the mission? Am I missing sth or is it just bad luck and I have to keep on trying...
Ryan Industries
To my knowledge they just have to be in your inventory to count and they don't have to be all collected in one playthrough. The last weapon I needed was the machete and when I manually dragged it into my inventory (the picture is above) the trophy popped. It seems like the majority of people who play this game either have trouble unlocking Tourist or Lord of War. There isn't much I can say other then to continue picking up weapons. Grondziu
It's crazy. I got the trophy. But it appeared after I picked Mp133 from the tower in plantation. The weapon I picked 4 times before that. Simply unbelievable....
