MVPP [May 2021] [Win Prize] [Sign up Closed]

New month and the contest continues. Third month of MVPP is now open!

MVPP, MostValuablePlatinumPlayer
This will rank the players with the rarest completed games (based on all players around the world) they have completed that has a Platinum trophy during the contest.
The contest will be tracked here: https://platimon.com

So how does it work?
Only games that fullfil the requirements below are included in the MVPP Leaderboard:
 

1) The game need to have a Platinum trophy
Why? These games are often harder and bigger than games without Platinum trophies. Platinum is also the best trophy of course!

2) The points will only be counted when the game is 100% /platinum is earned (without DLC)
Why?  Games that are not completed will not count since they are not finished. The game is not worthy a place on a leaderboard. A game deserves to be finished/finalised from a trophy perspective!

3) The game must have a total value of over 2 000 p (based on the Platimon formula described below)
Why? Games under 2000 p are easy games and “anybody” can complete them and fast. We want to remove games that you can get platinum in 30 min.

This is also set by you, the players around the world on how hard a game is. A game is never “safe”, it will move everyday. If all players are getting trophies that not hard, it will increase how common the trophy, which mean the total points for the game will decrease. A game might even be exclude, since the total points for the game may go below 2000 p. The same is true for the other way around. A game might be added because it was a lot harder the first shown as more people play it and does not manage to unlock trophies.  

Formula for counting points
This will be the same as in my previous contests.

A trophy is not the same as a “trophy”. Platinum in Red Dead Redemption 2 should (and is) more worth than platinum in My Name Is Mayo.

A platinum is also a lot more worth than a bronze. Your commitment and hard work should pay off.

The points are therefore calculated based on how common they are on PSN (Sony) times the value of the trophy (Bronze 15p, Silver 30p, Gold 90p, Platinum 300p)

 

For example:

The silver trophy “Quick Tempered” in the game God of War is 23%. 

This would give you 53,1p (100-23 = 1,77* 30p).

 

The bronze trophy “Secret Meeting” in the game Thimbleweed Park is 60,2%. 

This would give you 20,85p (100-60,2 = 1,39*15p)
 

All the trophies you gather during the month will be your total point. 

Also, if game has a Platinum which is Ultra Rare, the game will get 200 extra points.

 

Prize
A set prize for the winner is a PSN Code of $10.
But the prizepot will be boosted and distributed among other players, if more people join according to this scale:

 

Timezone
UTC will be used for picking up trophies logged
 
Setup
The contest will start 1/5 2021 and end 31/5 2021.

Maybe one of the more interesting things as-well, by entering you will also be part of a bigger MVPP Journey and Leaderboards!

MVPP of the Year
By entering this contest you will also be included in the MVPP Leaderboard of the Year!
This has the same requirements as above but included all points you have earn in the monthly MVPP you have signed up for during the year, which will be combined here giving you a yearly score.

The player that has the number 1 spot on 1/1 2022, will win a nice prize which will be presented later.

MVPP - Hall Of Platimon
By entering this contest you will also be included in the MVPP - Hall Of Platimon!
All your hard effort through out the years since you entered the world of Playstation should pay off.
So all games you have in your profile that meet the requirements described above will be included here.

Correct!
But for a game to be included in the Leaderboard the total point for the game must be over 2000p.
This is where you can use the Game Search to verify that your game will be included.
