Popular Post Dav9834
Update! Finished Steins Gate Elite Took me longer because I decided to watch the show before finishing the last chapter. Such a great VN! I prefer the elite version over the original VN by a mile, very fluid and more engaging. 1 game down, and 4 to go (probably not going to happen, I'm too slow, but I'm going to try!)

Popular Post SyIaris
Well, that was a longer break than intended. Life went a little bonkers for a couple weeks. ★ Assassin's Creed Syndicate (June 12th) Datura Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon ★ Hitman 2 - Additional Expansions (June 2nd) Hunted: The Demon's Forge LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes★ Okage: Shadow King - 0% -> 100% (July 2nd)The Order: 1886 - 5% So, Okage is a PS2 ATB JRPG that looks rather Tim Burton-y and feels like a b-movie. It starts off fairly simple and silly, but grew on me quite a bit as it went along and gained more depth. Never gets especially complex, but I did enjoy it; the ending was really nice. Took me about 19 hours ingame clock to finish, toss on maybe 3-4 more for reloads and such. Not bad for a 20 year old game. The main complaints I have are with the enemy spawn (seriously, leave me alone) and a fairly short view range, the combination of which discouraged exploration and made the later dungeons a pain in the neck if you didn't have an online map pulled up. The guide lies about needing to be well-leveled and geared up, though. I made it to the final dungeon around level 40 with no grinding past level 7 (mostly just clearing out the jars) and default/found equipment on everyone but the main, who got his ~15k stuff since his death meant a reload. Only had trouble with Sewer, Phantom, and Vampire bosses. With AC Syndicate and Okage crossed off, the only PS4-only game I have left now is one "do I really care?" trophy in Lara Croft. Glad to have that done with the system acting up. Not quite sure what I'll play next, but I think I'll hop onto the PS3 for a game or two and then tackle The Order.

I've started my second season in the European Tournament as I have now unlocked full season contracts, which I need to earn money and to do upgrades, for which there are also trophies for which have since been earned! I've also just earned the trophy for travelling a total distance of 500km and I'm almost halfway through my second season in the European Tournament. After that, I'll be moving on to the World Series tournament and earning the relevant trophies for that.

Popular Post StilRh
Hi gang. This week has been pretty good for my gaming. Even working+++ and long Covid kicking my ass I pulled a few long gaming sessions and made some progress across multiple games. I didn't a get platinum trophy this week, but I am ok with that. I didn't want to rush any of my games or buy an easy plat game for the sake of padding my platinum list. I got Doki Doki Literature Club (DDLC) to play during this challenge, but I'm going to hold fire on adding it to my list as there are some issues with DDLC trophies. The fun, not-what-it-seems visual novel motivated me to play some MuvLuv. I used text skip to get out of the side routes that I found boring (and made me drop the game previously) and now am really enjoying it. MuvLuv has an 'alternative' set of story arcs and I prefer them to the original stories so far. Slowly hoovering up all the activities in Odyssey. I don't like that level gating being such a hard limit to content but the game is really fun otherwise and one of the best open world games I've ever explored. This week I hope to finish Muvluv without any more skipping (fun fact my first trophy has no timestamp so the website thinks I've been working on the trophy for 51 years lol) and make more progress in Odyssey Spoiler Aground 28%Assassins Creed Odyssey 10% > 13%Catharine: Full Body 10%Cuphead 5%Desperados 3 32%Maquette 100%Muv Luv 26% > 47%Nier Replicant 20%Pyre 100%Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart 100%Rebel Galaxy 40%Slay the spire 19% > 24%Sudden Strike 4 7%Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Storm Ground 55%Worldend Syndrome 100%

Popular Post Heather342
Update 5 Backlog challenge wise, I've made zero progress this week. Instead I was working on my personal milestone goal, which is Persona 5. For this I am making good progress on my new game+, but I discovered that I hadn't filled up the compendium as completely as I thought I had in my first run, so I'm having to play more of this playthrough than I originally thought I'd need to. But that's ok, the game is phenomenal, but eating into my backlog challenge time a bit more than I had expected. Because of this, I'm not sure if I'll be able to finish all the games I'd set myself at the start, likely Two Point Hospital may be swapped but I'll see how we get on as we move further into July ?

Popular Post Xenoblast91
UPDATE 2.0.: Hello everyone welcome again to our next log into the challenge, so let's begin! All right June was a remarkable month and I managed to play two titles that I'm actually loving them so much but at the moment I just passed one of them just to focus on the next for getting a platinum especially for July 4th (happy Independence Day for all U. S. folks here!) so we're going about them next. Managed to finish 2 games form the challenge, and feels so relieving that I could do it in a month. Despite those are short games, I think that finishing those are worth. Also, thanks to the PS+ announcement, I must add one more title to the list, as I was wanting to hit a COD again this time of the year again, and Sony thought same as me and now is bringing me another free first-person shooter from this beautiful saga (YEAH! ). Mortal Kombat X ~ 81% → 100% Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 ~ 0% → 100% Ghostrunner ~ 0% → 27% Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition ~ 19% → 22% Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 ~ 0% --------------------------------------------------------------- Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 ~ 0% Let's start talking about Ghostrunner this game has the cyberpunk bike that I was looking for so long ago but sadly in the 2020 game couldn't achieve, and this game brings me many memories from my childhood signs I really love platforming games, so these one looks like a true challenge because there are several sections of the game or levels in which you have to play real brilliantly and avoid dying at all fair for you must be really aware of your surroundings you need to repeat several times-specific section of the whole level and once you master it is when you can progress through, however some sections that at first glance look really difficult we're easier in the first try, so I was just surprised that I happened to succeed in a level or in several sequences to being specific, still one of the things that I want to address is the fact that sometimes those awkward sequences become more and more complex but at the same time they became addicting, so once you are really into the game you feel it would be better not to stop you go and until you manage to finish that section you finally feel relieved, and it's a really rewarding experience. Also, when you try to check one of the levels and especially on both battles those fights became really tough as they are as you must have to restart from the very beginning. Hence, you must be good into the game because it's challenging, but it is fun... I don't know, it's the perfect balance between those two components, something that I haven't seen since years honestly so having the opportunity to play this game is a wonderful chance to text back my reflexes muscle memory and overall performing in platforming games since as I said I love that genre. All right, so continuing to another game, I can say that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has been a trip, it's beautiful like you don't know people. I like the previous title on the remake series (if you want to tell that one that way), I can tell that this one is marvelous the graphics are exquisite, beautiful and enjoying against older Call of Duty games the campaign on veteran Watson that difficult I felt it way easier and despite I died several times in certain levels I didn't feel so punishing in the previous entries so right now these one is enjoyable because the difficulty it didn't felt as such at first lands but when did you get the position of every enemy it becomes natural to passed with the game after one or two attempts of dying then you know why you're not going to next because there's going to apply your imagination and your creativity to tackle all those challenges. By the way, on the challenge of the S. S. D. D., for lowering your time against BX but after attempting it for so long, it felt so reliving despite I just managed to be really close to the time, but the trophy popped afterwards to just finally take away the missions once and for all, LOL. I leave this game specially for this week. July 4th isn't only an specific holiday for U. S., as it actually was my Dad's birthday, plus is the principal town fest here at my home. So having platinum on this game on this very day means a lot to me. I love to save milestones to things like this! For Mortal Kombat X, I can say that is a solid, entertaining and fantastic fighting game. I wanted to play it so long ago, and now is over... In fact, I posted a review for my overall experience while going for the 100%. The graphics, its gameplay and mechanics, along with the infinite modes available to you to tackle makes it amazing. In terms of trophies, it took me a few days to earn the grindy ones, as the EXP farming method is tremendously tedious, more if you really want to stack a bunch of point to reach a new level. Aside from that, I'm a fan of the series and this was everything I was expecting from it. The characters roost and their move pool, makes it dynamic, a nice option to play and to take the time to learn the controls, aside that mastering it can be a full-time job, actually. It stands as the most sold game on the series too, so grabbing the Platinum really felt like a feat that, despite the effort needed to get it, make it a nice addition to the collection. Finally, Tomb Raider... Oh man, I got the other 2 online remaining trophies, but the one for reaching LV 60 is taking me ages. Seriously, people claim that in 8 hours they got the trophy, but for me, it has been almost 2 weeks! I really want to get rid of this ASAP, as I'm on LV 55, so I need ~600k of EXP to get the trophy. Anything else I can about the game. Never thought this would be an annoying game, but haven't played the campaign yet, but hope to don't have troubles in that one. I really wish to move on this soon, as has sucked my time and breaking me for attempting other games. Anyway, that's why this challenge exists in the first place, isn't it? LOL. That's everything at the moment, and I hope to star BO4 soon, meanwhile people will be playing it as it is easier to find matches, and people who want to play Zombies. COD is the reason why the last year challenge was so magical; trying to finish an Easter Egg on a certain map was hellish fun, and with this time around, I hope will be the same too! Wish you all a wonderful week, happy hunting and peace!
Popular Post Tenzai1980
Hi there, hope you had all a nice weekend. Finished my third game for this event. If i can keep my pace i can perhaps put a few more games up for the challenge. Song of Memories was a really interesting VN. I read the storys that interested me in full (Kanon, Akari, Satsuki) and skipt most of the dialogs for the other storys and was only reading the interesting parts. The only part i found a little strange was that you can skip the fights. I asked myself: why did they even put the fights in there? Or more: why did they even put the option to fight the fights in there? I am pretty sure that most of the people will skip the fights in the whole game ( i ,for one, am one of this people ) But all in all i would recomment this VN. ( Oh and sorry for my bad english, hope you all understand what i am trying to tell ?) 1. Murdered: Soul Suspect 2. Song of Memories 3. Nights of Azure 2 4. Chronus Arc (28%) 5. Popular Post Hisuiryu
Week 5 Another week down and my first game cleared! I finished off the plat for FFXIII finally clocking in at around 93 hours, I didn't find it too bad in the end, but the last trophy is not fun and definitely detracts from the game (from a trophy hunting perspective anyway). Overall though, I really enjoyed the game, the story and characters are good enough but the battle system is possibly my favourite FF so far. I've made some progress in Soul Sacrifice as well - I'm still just progressing the story, but I feel like I'm kind of underpowered so I'm not sure if I should be grinding... I think the equipment is probably more important than the levels (?) but that still requires grinding so I guess that's my next action. The trophy guide here suggests not bothering with the Avalon pacts (non-story missions) until the story is done, but with the level they recommend being I'm no sure why you wouldn't do them just for the extra XP and drops.... Also, I downloaded the free DLC to unlock some extra Dark Rites so I don't need to unlock all of the base-game ones, but event though it's installed I didn't get them which is pretty useless ? I think I'll be going for Tropico next - something completely different to cleanse the pallet after FF... I just really hop the DLC goes on sale again soon! Popular Post ExHaseo
Didn't get much done last week. It was finals week and I've been kind of sick as well. I played through Sayonara Wild Hearts too. I just wanted to try it, since I was thinking about swapping it in, but then I beat the game very quickly without getting any trophies. It was such an interesting experience, that I don't want to ruin it by doing what I assume would be grinding, getting max rank, and doing random objectives. So I'm just going to leave it at 0%. Otherwise, I made some progress in Karrotkake. I feel like I'm probably playing it wrong by running around and exploring too much, so I'm progressing pretty slowly, but I'm enjoying it. Popular Post MidnightDragon
Time for an update Afrika-100% 6/29 Monster Hunter IV-100% 7/1 Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX-0=>72% Assassin's Creed Rogue (PS3)-0% Reel Fishing: Road Trip Adventure-0% Shakedown Hawaii-0% Started on Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX today. It's a fun game...mostly. However, the final level has a big difficulty spike and it makes things very frustrating. The rest of the game feels tough, but not punishing. There is the ability to play with unlimited lives, but doing so voids one of the trophies. You need to do two playthroughs anyway (you can't get all the collectibles without spending money), so will do the second playthrough with unlimited lives. Hopefully it'll make the final level a bit less frustrating the second time. Miss having the save states from the PS3 version. After MANY failed attempts to complete the final level, I finally succeeded and finished the game before calling it a night. Still have to do the boss rush and no spending run. Hopefully the unlimited lives will make the latter easier. Edited July 6, 2021 by MidnightDragon

Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
Update 8 - I'm so close to the ME3 platinum and additional trophy set 100% that I can taste it! I only have one trophy left for the main game which is to get a fully upgraded weapon. I can get that done naturally while going for the final Insanity playthrough I think. I have some screenshots and thoughts ready about my ME3 experience, but I'll share those once I have everything completely done and dusted. So far though there are some things I loved, which were definitely an improvement on the previous two games, but others weirdly felt like a step back. Popular Post Zach
Hey everyone. Small update. I haven't started any of the games on my list due to work and school. However, I finished the DLC of Immortals Fenyx Rising, so that cleared up some space. I will start the first game on my list here soon! I have Erica downloading now.
