Popular Post xItsLesterx
Update #3 Let me start by just saying that I was able to get the 100% for Metro Exodus despite of the glitched trophies thanks to some geniuses in this community. You guys have no idea how much it bothered me, especially with the trophy being completely attainable. After that, decided to jump into Titanfall 2 and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, since they are both easy games to complete. Titanfall 2 was "meh", to be quite honest. There was a point where I lost track of the story and didn't really care for the MP either. Immediately, I jumped into Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales. I read all the hate on how it should had been a DLC to the original 2018 Spider-Man and I must say I agree with it. Very forgettable story. 10% into the game and the game froze. Some audio from a side quest was overlapping audio from the main story. Game was ok. Glad I borrowed the game and not bought it. Either way, I think up next will be Bloodborne. Started it long time ago but couldn't get into it. Initially, it was at the very bottom of my backlog but I figured instead of starting a new game again, I will just tackle some games that are on my profile already. 1 - Metro 2033 Redux (4% => 100%) 2 - Metro Last Light Redux (0% => 100%) 3 - Metro Exodus (0% => 100%) 4 - Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor (0%) 5 - Middle-Earth: Shadow of War (0%) 6 - Titanfall 2 (4% => 100%) 7 - Bloodborne (18%) 8 - Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales (0% => 100%) Shoutout to everyone on the great work you guys are doing. We are almost half way through the event. Keep up the great work.
Popular Post L0sT_NZ_Kazekage
So I forgot how bad I am at Souls games ? I'm really enjoying it but it's gonna take some time. I'm adding Astrobot to my list just so I can keep track of all the stuff I platinum over these 3 months. And finally after a lot of consideration (and partner pestering me to play it) I will use my last swap to take out Mafia 2 and add Until Dawn. 1. Horizon Zero Dawn (100%) 2. Demon's Souls (1%) 3. Crash Team Racing (22%) 4. Until Dawn (0%) 5. God of War 1 (100%) 6. Astro's Playroom (100%) (3/6 Games Complete) (2/2 Swaps Used)
Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
super quick Update 9 - The Mass Effect 3 Platinum is in the bag, awww yeah! Now I just need to finish the last few missions on Insanity difficulty and i'll be fully done with the entire collection. Watch Dogs:Legion has landed in strange territory in that its final mission trophy is still bugged but at the same time it's also fixed. They fixed the issue which was preventing the final mission trophy to pop - but only for people who either haven't finished the game yet, or were lucky enough to have an older save before the final mission. So it's fixed in that sense. But people who finished the game and don't have an older save are still left with a bugged trophy. There is a bit of a mega-thread forming on the Ubisoft Support forums at the moment and I'm really hoping they don't turn around with a fix being - start a brand new game and play it again from the beginning. Happy Friday everyone! This weekend i'm planning on getting ME3 Insanity mode done and to finally crack open Subnautica: Below Zero. There is also a new Resident Evil CGI show on Netflix too which i'm going to binge with a cheat meal. Mass Effect Watch Dogs: Legion - 54% > 91% [Blocked] Mass Effect 2 Cosmic Top Secret Mass Effect 3 Mass Effect: Legendary Edition (additional trophy set) - 90% Subnautica: Below Zero - 0% Outriders - 1% Nier:Replicant - 4% > 7%
Popular Post Heather342
Update 6 Another week where my backlog challenge was stalled, but my personal milestone progress has been improving. I've been deep in Persona 5, it's currently in-game November, flu season, and I'm running around Mementos farming the Reaper for XP. My persona compendium is at 98% completion, and I think I can knock out this personal goal before the weekend is over. My plan is to get my level up a bit more, complete the compendium, then jump back into another game (likely AC Freedom Cry) to earn three trophies to fill the gap, and then back to Persona 5 for a final showdown with the twins ? Once P5 is done, my next goal is to have The Witcher as my platinum #50. I'm still not that far into the game, I get easily distracted just wandering the landscape or just playing too much Gwent ? but will need to get cracking on that again as I know it's a big game and that's not including the 2 DLCs. But I'm looking forward to really getting stuck into this game properly.
Popular Post Fanatixa1
Hi everyone, Another update from me. I've finished Mass Effect 2 and I loved it! I finally understand why people love these games so much. Even tho the games are older, especially Mass Effect 2 holds up very well. I've started Mass Effect 3 now, very curious where the story will go. After Mass Effect 3 I want to play Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. One of my favorite games from the past and I want it to be my 125th platinum 1. Mass Effect - 3% --> 100% 2. Mass Effect 2 - 0% --> 100% 3. Mass Effect 3 - 0% --> 12% 4. Popular Post ExHaseo
Finished up DBZ Kakarot. I really enjoyed it. It was so nice to see a more full look at the DBZ story in a game for once. For so long every other game has been a weird abridged version, or something else entirely. Being able to fully experience the story of DBZ again was just great. I also really liked that they added stuff to show what characters from the original Dragon Ball were doing. Especially the ones that Toriyama forgot about, like Launch. I kind of wish that the plat was closer to 100% completion, and that the DLC had trophies, so I'd have an excuse to keep playing it, but they don't. So it's on to the next game. I'll probably do P5S next. I got through the first couple of jails before dropping it the first time. I'm not a big fan of the combat. I think it should have either been a Persona game or a warriors game, not the weird in between that it ended up being. It's not terrible or anything, but it doesn't do anything exceedingly well either. Despite being arguably non-canon, I'm curious about the story though, and I'm hoping if I play it more, it'll grow on me a bit. Which is why I put it on the list. Just one more game and I'll be more than halfway through my list! Being almost halfway done with the event, I'm still on track to finish up all 11. Popular Post based_gigachad
My list: - Abzu (0%) - Wreckfest PS5 (0%) - Maneater PS4 (0%) > 100% - Maquette PS5 (0%) - Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered - NA Stack (0%) > Now 11% - Truck Racing Championship (0%) > 100% - Far Cry 3 Classic Edition (0%) Finally got a start on Need for Speed Hot Pursuit - I've weirdly been surprisingly busy (more so than usual) in the timeframe of this challenge so not as far along as I had hoped, and the football being on most nights for the past few weeks certainly hasn't helped matters! However, tomorrow will be the final of the Euros so after it's all done and concluded it should be one less distraction from the good old Playstation. It has however been really good to be playing Hot Pursuit again - this is going to be my third run-through of the game within the previous 12 months but I really do love it enough to be completely engaged each time. And I'm in no rush to complete this version in the same way I did with the EU stack - I went all out rushing through the game to be the first achiever, which was ultimately a fun and rewarding experience, but it is nice to have more time to appreciate this game for how good it is, especially now playing it on PS5 as I get 4k/60fps! I'm going to continue enjoying working on this one for a little while

Popular Post StilRh
Hi guys. Update time. This week I spent almost exclusively with Muvluv. Once I auto-skipped one of the joke routes that irritated me (was too proud to do that before lol) I became hooked again. I much prefered the second story arc I think the girls and protagonist developed more due to the darker setting. Made me laugh and made me cry. Bittersweet to end the novel - I'm sure I'll pick up the next one soon. Muvluv aside briefly spent some time on Assassins Creed and also Aground. Both relaxing in their way. This week I'm not sure what I'll do gaming wise, probably bounce between all my open titles and maybe spin up either Nier or Catherine. My health hasn't been great (undiagnosed chest pain and breathing difficulties - could be long covid, >possible< reaction to Covid vaccine as onset of symptoms coincides with time I had it, or even stress related as it's been a pretty brutal year to be a nurse lol) and sometimes it really knocks the energy out of me so I don't want to commit to too much this week. Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
Update 10 - For the past two weeks i've been progressing through a 2 hour, 5 days a week workout plan. It's intense but it also means I can lounge about on Saturday and Sunday to recover. That basically means i've been sitting on my ass for two days playing videogames + the occasional walk and day trip. Not only did I finish off my ME3 Insanity run leading into the weekend, but I also put the Subnautica: Below Zero platinum in the bag too. I don't know if it was because the crafting recipes and mechanics are virtually identical to the original Subnautica or if Below Zero was just shorter, but I feel like I breezed through it. I definitely think the game was much much easier. I remember in the first game, you needed to fully upgrade your sea vehicle and your Sea Prawn suit, you also needed a huge submarine to move it all, plus build an entire space rocket to leave the planet. With Below Zero I was able to do everything with just an upgraded sea vehicle. I crafted the Sea Prawn thinking I would need it, but it pretty much stayed rigged up in my moon pool. The game alludes to you needing to build your space truck out with multiple segments and to build up a mobile base to reach the deepest points of the world, but with a Mk3 depth module in the sea truck and a fully upgraded oxygen tank you are pretty much set. I was envisioning a grand epic adventure down to the darkest caverns of the ocean with a mobile base, traversing the sea bed in my Sea Prawn suit mining the rarest of minerals and items. But in the end it was just me in a single seater sea truck vehicle 1000m down while all my gear sat near the surface. The biomes are gorgeous and the story is way richer and more involved than the original with full voice acting support and lots of voiced logs to find and uncover. But the experience itself was very unforgiving, even with food and water as a thing for you to maintain. The land based gameplay is really fun too, with some new traversal on very snowy arctic dry land, but you don't really hang around long once you have completed a couple of story arc missions. There are some really tense moments with some ice worms which burrow and erupt to knock you off your feet or your land glider which is a nice touch, as well as some ferocious dog monsters. But overall, the sense of dread and peril I experienced at points in the previous game was kind of missing, the leviathans were the 'Jaws' of the game, but there just aren't many at all in this one and the ones that are there, can usually be bypassed pretty easily. There was one tense moment towards the very end in the deepest part of the game world which brought me back to the original. But the scale was really missing overall from Below Zero. I think that if you are a veteran of Subnautica and you've picked up efficiency tricks and methods, you'll absolutely blast through this game. If it's your first Subnautica game, it might take a little longer, getting used to the mechanics and world. The ending though was amazing and I really hope we get another game in the franchise but with the same scale and difficulty as the first, while retaining the storytelling of Below Zero. Popular Post Heather342
Update 6.5 I managed to complete my personal goal yesterday, and the plat for Persona 5 was my 3000th trophy ? I do find it a lot of fun to plan specific trophies for milestones, it's nice to have a goal to work towards. I think that's also why I'm really enjoying these backlog challenges too. I do plan to finish my Persona 5 run, as it's such a great game it seems wrong to just leave the story behind now that all the trophies are done, but I can do that at a leisurely pace and get back to focussing on this challenge. This weekend I have got back to my challenge games, although only minimal progress. Popular Post be_minor
Update #2: Nearly halfway done with the Summer Backlog Challenge, and I feel like my list reflects that. I was unable to play for the majority of three weeks while moving. Between bouts of unpacking and sporadic organizing, I managed to complete both Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3. Thankfully, neither platinum required more than a single playthrough, so I breezed through them on casual difficulty. I still need to go back and replay them on Insanity to finish up the separate trophy list, but I want to start some other games before tackling my last ride with the trilogy. I also have the urge to go back to Andromeda, start an Insanity playthrough, and earn the last few trophies I need. Red = Haven’t startedGreen = Progress madeBlue = Completed 100% 1. Popular Post Hisuiryu
Week 6 We'll be hitting the halfway point this week and my list is still looking a little bit sorry for itself ? I did however play a decent amount of Tropico this week (and as a biproduct, partner played it as well) - I completed the campaign without too much trouble, having played through on PC before made it easy because I knew roughly what to expect on each mission. I made sure to take care of a few things while playing through, then cleaned up a few of the silly one in an unlimited-money sandbox (who would build 20 guard towers?!). Today I started a new, proper, sandbox to clean up the rest of the miscellaneous which will take me a few hours but I don't see it being too bad, I suppose the happiness will be the hardest to do, but once I hit modern era I'll get to 77 eventually. I also made a little more progress in Soul Sacrifice clearing some more side-missions this week, which allowed me to defeat the boss I was stuck on as well. I'm beginning to appreciate the importance of exploiting weaknesses and status ailments even if it means using some weaker abilities which will hopefully help me as I continue on. Have made some progress since the start of the challenge, though its been a bit slower Than I would have liked. The main non-time related reason for that is I’ve gotten into Final Fantasy XIV and that’s taking up a lot of my gaming time! I didn’t put it on the list originally because I have absolutely no hope of finishing it, but I might swap it in anyway at some point so I can play it and still make progress here. Anyway, on to the update: 6. World of Final Fantasy (17%) > (32%) > (65%) Still plugging away with this one, have just finished the true ending today after finishing the minigames (dear Lord, those were annoying!) so just the final endgame grind to go. It hasn’t grabbed me as much as other FFs, but it’s not quite as bad as I once thought. It’s just a bit drawn out. Everything seems to take a long time, which is weird for a game that was supposed to be portable. 11. Control (0%) > (33%) > (100%) Not much to say about this one that I haven’t already. Story and world building are intelligent and thoughtful, gameplay is desperately dull and repetitive. Thankfully the assists made the combat bearable or else I’m not sure I would have finished it. The two DLCs are average at best, they don’t really add much except some different enemies. I wouldn’t bother unless you’re desperate for 100% 3. Subnautica (4%) > (100%) Another one I really didn’t get on with. Wanted to do this legitimately but found I lost my patience quite early on and then just went through the motions with the dev menu. A shame really, was looking forward to this. In other news have reached a personal best completion and ranking, so worth it I think. Next up on my list is going to be wasteland 3, and maybe assassin’s creed too. Hopefully will be able to give another update next week.

The multiplayer, otherwise, is amazing and I recommend this game just because of that, the gameplay feels good even in a lobby with 64 players on a "small" map. I'm only with two grindwise trophies left to get the platinum, so I will be working on them during the next weeks. Life is Strange: Before the Storm (PS4) Spoiler The first game is easily in my top 10 of all time, with that being said, there's no way that Before the Storm could disappoint me. It was amazing to finally meet the famous Rachel Amber and her story with Chloe. Despite not being as good as the first one, I ended up getting more attached to the characters on this one. Loved the story, perhaps because I'm old as hell. Not much else to add to it. Then I jumped into A Plague Tale: Innocence. Always thought of getting this game but because I've been trying to hold myself from buying new games and do the games already in backlog, I never did. Man, was I in for a treat! LOVED IT. I'm a sucker for games with a great story. I rarely ever buy on release day but I'm definitely buying its sequel when it comes out next year. 1 - Metro 2033 Redux (4% => 100%) 2 - Metro Last Light Redux (0% => 100%) 3 - Metro Exodus (0% => 100%) 4 - Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor (0%) 5 - Middle-Earth: Shadow of War (0%) 6 - Titanfall 2 (4% => 100%) 7 - Bloodborne (18%) 8 - Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales (0% => 100%) 9 - Maquette (0% => 100%) 10 - A Plague Tale: Innocence (0% => 100%) Great job to everyone on their progress.
