The next two weeks will probably be good, considering that I'm on a little vacation from work --- Little Nightmares (PS4) Spoiler I tried to play this one a little bit, but I wasn't feeling it, I'll try again this weekend. Wreckfest (PS5) Spoiler Near the end of the career the game was actually enjoyable and that surprised me, but the final section was so repetitive that it ended up being just boring again. It was a good game to play with something else on the second monitor and don't give much attention into it. Lastly, I'm used to play with 100+ ping, but this one was absolutely unplayabe. --- Weekly Update #01 Weekly Update #02 Swap #01 & Addition #01 Weekly Update #03 Weekly Update #04 Swap #02 Weekly Update #05 Weekly Update #06 Weekly Update #07 Weekly Update #08 Weekly Update #09
Popular Post MidnightDragon
I finished Dragon Age: Origins Awakening tonight. Definitely an enjoyable expansion. Seeing that my car is in the shop and not sure how long it'll be (see my recent status updates, don't wanna bore you all with the details), I've decided to go ahead and finish off the game. Dragon Age: Origins one of my favorite games ever and will be sad to see it over, but it'll also be nice to have another 100%...if the Golems of Amgarrak doesn't make me hurl my controller at the wall. I would love it if they did a remaster eventually. Well, one can dream!
Popular Post Heather342
Final update So I have just got the platinum for Persona 4 Dancing All Night, and with that it is time for me to bow out of this challenge. I was debating whether or not to use my 2 swaps now for some easier to obtain plats in my backlog, but I decided against it. Too much gaming in recent months and I'm developing RSI in my thumb ? (lol gamer problems!). So with that I'm gonna take a little break away from the consoles and come back fresh for the Fall/Winter challenge! I only managed to complete half of my list this time around, but I also hit some of my important trophy milestones that I'd been planning for a long time, so I'm still happy with all the progress I've made these last few months ? Trophy progress: - The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt - 0 -> 100% - Dark Pictures Anthology Little Hope - 0 -> 100% - Persona 4 Dancing All Night - 0 -> 100% - Assassin's Creed Black Flag - 13 -> 18% (moved to Fall/Winter challenge) - Assassin's Creed Freedom Cry - 0 -> 26% (moved to Fall/Winter challenge) - Two Point Hospital - 42% (moved to Fall/Winter challenge) Good luck to everyone who is still in the current challenge. I hope you achieve your backlog goals ? Edited August 20, 2021 by Heather342
Popular Post GraniteSnake
First/final update (I promise I'll do better in the next challenge!) Uncharted: The Lost Legacy - 5% >> 100% Monster Monpiece - 47% Need for Speed: Most Wanted - 29% >> 35% Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 - 25% >> 100% Need for Speed: Shift - 0% >> 100% Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag - 25% Need for Speed: Shift It was quite refreshing and enjoyable in the beginning, for an NFS game that is. Unfortunately that enjoyment faded as the repetitiveness kicked in. A mediocre selection of tracks coupled with a middling selection of cars meant that things got old fast. Still, I enjoyed the handling in this game a lot more than it's successor, Shift 2: Unleashed! Trophy-wise it was easy. Your main focus is working towards achieving 20 Epic badges - in order to make this as easier on yourself you can grind out a few of the online badges with a boosting partner. This allows you to skip the tougher offline badges (Europe corner mastery) and the longer, more grindier badges (defeat every rival). Overall I'm happy I played it and glad I got it done before the server shutdown at the end of this month! Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Randomly decided to load this up, 4 months after I originally dropped it when I reached chapter 4, saw the size of the map and the massive amount of collectables and said 'nope'. Admittedly it wasn't nearly as daunting as I thought it would be. There was a fantastic comment under one of the videos that grouped the collectables in order of location, rather than the seemingly random order portrayed in the video guide. The rest of the game was pretty straightforward. I found this game to be mildly enjoyable. Not enough action for me. Still, it was fun to play as Chloe and her chemistry with Nadine throughout the game was the highlight for me. Graphics were also really nice to look at, it was a welcome change from all of the PS3 games I've been playing as of late. Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 Not much to say about this one. Completed the multiplayer 6 months prior before I finally decided to try out the single player campaign. It was middling at best. Once you've played one of these games, you've kind of played them all. FPS was low, which once again made close range combat a nightmare. The biggest issue in this game was the inability to spot enemies. Seriously, I'd spend 5 minutes at the end of a firefight browsing the place for that final enemy, only to run into him and have him kill me from close range! So frustrating. I think I've played enough of these Sniper games for one lifetime!
Popular Post be_minor
Update #5: Since my last update, I completed Mass Effect: Legendary Edition with two final playthroughs for ME2 and ME3 on Insanity. Both required only a few days to finish. Most of my free time this month was spent working on games not in the challenge though - PvZ: Battle for Neighborville and Fallout: New Vegas. The latter is my #75 milestone plat that I plan to work on in the Fall/ Winter Challenge. I’ll be swapping out my final game (Oxenfree) for Rain, so I don’t reach my milestone early. Popular Post MidnightDragon
I beat the Golems of Amgarrak DLC on Dragon Age: Origins. I was able to beat the Harvester on hard on my first try thanks to a trick provided by @madbuk that made the battle cake. Everyone else on my team died, but not my main character. I also used my OP archer. I did the initial fight in Witch Hunt, which is the final DLC, then stopped for tonight. I will finish tomorrow or, possibly, Monday. Popular Post StilRh
Hi guys. Update time. I saw some short metroidvania games on sale and I couldn't resist. I've swapped Sudden Strike out for Timespinner, which being short is good this close to the end of the challenge. Managed to get the platinum in about a day ~10 hours or so of playing. I've also been playing a lot of Desperados, just need 90 badges and to kill all the devs in the game - trophies that can be a bit buggy I've heard. So fingers crossed I will platinum this amazing game in the next week. Just couldn't quite bring myself to deal with trying to sync trophies for a longer game that way. Hopefully either the next update or some solution on the internet will fix it. Probably won't be joining F/W since half the list I had in mind was PS3. And with that, my list is finished! Had fun digging through older games for this round, and while they're on the short side, that's more or less what I had time for. Only Datura was a disappointment, but more of a "....huh?" than "well, that was terrible.". Children of Morta was probably my favorite, but everything had strong points. Thanks for another round, and good luck to everyone in the next!

Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
Final update - I think this is my final update for real now! Since my last update, I decided to pick up an old backlog game called Moonlighter which I got so into, I completely forgot to come back here and update my list. I got so carried away with it, it ended up being my 190th Platinum. It's a wonderful top down pixel-art game where you raid randomized dungeons and then run a shop on the side pricing, placing and selling the loot you pick up. Well worth it if you are into shop management sims with some hack n' slash RPG adventure on the side I also knocked out Dear Esther which was a truly haunting experience, but it wasn't my kind of experience. I really appreciated the narrative and the pacing, but something about the walking speed and the depth of field actually caused me to doze off on my sofa a few times. Play this with 2-3 cups of coffee! Finally, I ended up striking What Remains of Edith Finch off my list because it went back up in price and i'm not sure i'm up for paying 19.99 for an older and very short game right now. Well, that's a wrap everyone! It's been a pleasure to read all your updates and thank you for enduring walls of text with mine. Hopefully I'll see you all in the Fall/Winter challenge Mass Effect Watch Dogs: Legion Mass Effect 2 Cosmic Top Secret Mass Effect 3 Mass Effect: Legendary Edition (additional trophy set) - 100% Subnautica: Below Zero Outriders Nier:Replicant [[[[!!!!! Popular Post Xenoblast91
LAST UPDATE: The month is finishing as so this challenge too! The time I spent playing my titles was wonderful, and manage to quit few from the road as I was planning them to play them anyway. Being in a rush for games that are grindy, and skill dependent can be sometimes stressing rather than fun, but the satisfaction that brings to play them and see how the completion percentage roses every time is worthy! This has been a really slow challenge as was the shortest in terms of games for me, but the games I choose took a lot of time to finish, hence why I couldn't (once again, what a new) managed to succeed in this. However, this impulses me to try my best and finish games that otherwise I'll be so hesitant to even bother to try, so thanks a lot to you guys too for inspiring me and pressure me to go on daily and don't surrender in this insane task, LOL. Mortal Kombat X ~ 100% Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 ~ 100% Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition ~ 100% Ghostrunner ~ 100% Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 ~ 15% → 78% Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 ~ 0% → 3% Starting with my review, I can say that COD: BO4 is in overall terms of the series, one of the hardest in trophy terms also one of the grindiest, of course. This is due to it Blackout mode, a proto-Warzone game in which the trophies related to them are tied to a very specific tasks than the player must perform in order to acquire certain characters and unlock trophies. This by itself is so difficult because the skill set required for those are based on RNG plus the other players factor. Like, imagine having half of the requirements for characters but then being killed by a sniper from nowhere and your progress towards that is wiped out. Pretty infuriating, honestly. But I must recognize a boosting group who is very active and hunting those to help you. Along with that, the game overemphasize the co-op mode. Previous games focus on that, but I believe that the Zombies isn't to take them casually. I'm deeply surprised how the community manages to uncover the secrets of the maps and know the Easter Eggs (the main mission on a given map) steps with little or no clues about how to them. The dialog for the characters in-game however are hilarious, and makes the experience better to follow. But the amount of stuff needed to be done is incredibly tasky and if you mess something up, there you go like 3 hours of your day wasted for nothing. So is better to understand the mechanics of the game before to attempt this type of trophies, not going to lie. However, I've been starting to liking it but not as much as I did with WWII iteration. This has been way harder and tedious than before. I'm feeling satisfied that is almost done for sure. For LEGO MSH2, for the minimal part I've been playing, I can say that is fantastic. The graphics suffered a needed and much appreciated overhaul from the previous game! Now I can truly enjoy it, as I don't know if it is a matter of taste, but this one has a better appeal to me and the story is fun, the dubbing crew is exactly the same as the movies from the MCU and the characters despite its childish and silly nature, are a little more mature and now stand for their comics' counterpart stand for. I'm excited with this one. Tiny progress with this, but this is the type of game that one should play at its pace and even to try to discover its secrets by yourself. Let's see how this goes on, and of course, I'll leave this one for the next challenge as I want to have it ready for next month. Really looking forward to this. This is all at this challenge for my guys, hope you enjoyed it a lot and now can focus on the grand one coming in Fall/Winter. Glad to see you again, and for those who aren't, I wish you my best and stay safe! Thanks for giving me that motivation to continue despite the frustration and minimal progress in my games, but I assure you that you all are in good track Happy hunting and see you next time!

It's a really fun game. Just wish I had started sooner. This is a spiritual successor to Retro City Rampage. It has a more SNES/Genesis feel to it, but it plays similarly. There are a couple differences. You are playing an aging CEO trying to rebuild his corporate empire by any means necessary (mostly by dubious means) while having to adjust to the times. It's a parody of how the corporate world works. It still has the GTA vibes of the first game.

Popular Post StilRh
Hi guys. Time for my closing update. I've felt more my usual self this week. Still not 100% recovered but have the mental energy and motivation to play and enjoy gaming as before. I still have a week sick leave 'off' work but I'll need to do a lot to get ready for my return as it's nearly been a month off! Going back to work I think I'll be on what's called phased return (slowly building up working hours and responsibilities) this may or may not give me more time to play depending on how tiring I find it all. It's been a lovely week to play games and I feel really positive about the challenge overall. Can't wait for the next challenge! This weel I platted Desperados 3, one of the best games I've played for some time, and the relaxing Islanders.
