Update a Trophy List

Thanks BlindMango and Dreggit for previous elaboration on the discussion of trophy stack regions and their relation to unique content IDs for a specific game.
Indeed all that makes sense, especially as you say, when a developer decides to release a game in a new "region" and chooses between creating a new trophy stack or binding their new release (contentID) to an already existing stack.

On another topic.
Alex Kidd series

Not sure if it qualifies as a series, I believe the DX versions are "remasters" of the original game, not 100% sure.
The PS3 version is pretty much a port of the classic Sega Mega Drive / Genesis game.

This wouldn't be a series. DX is a long-time industry buzz word that is used as short hand for "Deluxe" in where a game would be re-released with small changes in the game or has notable improvements. Back in the Gameboy Era, sometimes a DX version involved re-releasing it with color on the GBC. Other times it is a re-release of a game with a collection of bonus features.

@Dreggit Could you take a look at the discussion here? It is my belief that the "OR" version of Saint Seiya: Soldiers' Soul is really Latin American for PS3-only, after conducting a bit of research. I can't find anything that confirms this trophyset was ever on PS4.

I'll look into it when I have some free time

I have two suggestions for header/banner of Reevenant Saga, instead of screenshot:

Thanks! Since neither of these images fit all that well in the banner area, I took the first image and moved the characters to fit it well - You may not see the updated image until you go to the trophy list and hit Ctrl + Shift + R on your browser

Blade Arcus from Shining is part of the Shining series. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shining_(video_game_series)

So this series should be called Shining series:

https://psnprofiles.com/series/738-blade-arcus

And it should include Shining Resonance (and stacks): https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/7441-shining-resonance-refrain

Note: I'm not sure the two games currently in this series are actually different "stages" or rather should be different versions of the same "stage". It seems the main difference is that Rebellion includes additional characters from Shining Resonance, but maybe that's sufficient to be called a different game for a fighting game.

Thank you for pointing it out. I've also talked about it. ?

According the listing on PSN and what this website indicates, Blade Arcus from Shining EX and Blade Arcus Rebellion from Shining are part of the "Shining" series. Further, all games mentioned below should also be included in the "Shining" series.

Shining Resonance Refrain (PS4)

Shining Resonance (PS3, Japanese version)

Shining Resonance (PS3, Asian version)

I suspect there is another game called VR Figure from Shining, but I couldn't seem to find it on PSNP. :hmm:

PS5 is listed twice in the release date section.

PS4 doesn't include the specific day it was released. It should be the same as the PS5 one.

The staff here can't fix that, because it has to be done remotely on the IGDB site by someone with editing permissions.

I might be wrong, but aren't 恋姫†演武 and Koihime†Enbu Ryo Rai Rai technically the same game? They even feature the same trophies. I think they should be linked as stacks. :hmm:

You're right, the latter is just the overseas release. Also, this game is just an updated version of original PS3 release 真・恋姫夢想~乙女対戦★三国志演義~ I played long time ago.

Edna & Harvey Series

The series order is incorrect, The Breakout should be first, followed by Harvey's New Eyes. The original Edna & Harvey: The Breakout was released in 2008 (in 2020 the Anniversary Edition was released for PS4 with two playable versions, one with updated graphics and the second with the original 2008 graphics). The sequel Harvey's New Eyes released in 2011 (2019 on PS4).
