it would be really helpful if there was a series of jumping games by thigames

This may prove useful for finding these titles, however a series probably won't be created for these lists and ones similar to it as the game information team has decided to spend our available time improving and maintaining far more useful areas on the site

Rocket League series

Both are made by the same company Psyonix and Rocket League can be considered a spiritual sequel to SARPBC.

Not sure if that is enough to constitute parts of a series but since it's pretty much the same genre / type of game, I thought I'd suggest these two to be added to a series.

Even though Rocket League is a very obvious spiritual successor to SARPBC and made by the same people, I would say it's still not quite a qualifier for a series like a Rocket League and Rocket League 2 would be :hmm:

The new bunny memory game list thats just been added to the site is tagged as an Asian release but its not available anywhere on the asian store. However it is available on the Japanese store. Same goes for The Bat D and Postman. I believe those are all supposed to be tagged for japan.

I double checked this game and the way these are currently tagged are currently correct - the one you linked to is the EU version and this one is the JP version. It's usually very unlikely that a Japanese list would have more players than any other list version in a game like this

This
https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/9826-arcade-archives-vs-castlevania

And this:

https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/5630-arcade-archives-haunted-castle
See wiki article for confirmation that this is indeed a castlevania game: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haunted_Castle_(video_game)

Should probably also be in this series:
https://psnprofiles.com/series/121-castlevania

Not sure if a game can exist in more than one series at a time though. If you had to choose between the castlevania series and the arcade archive series, I think the current designation is more appropriate.

I took a look at these and there's an overwhelming number of people from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, and other Asian regions playing these lists - it doesn't appear to be exclusively JP from what I can tell

Games typically are only allowed 1 game per series as of right now. The only exceptions are:

https://psnprofiles.com/series/1015-ps2-classics.

And

https://psnprofiles.com/series/1016-ps1-classics.

I believe these were created due to a large amount of requests for a place to track them when the new PS membership subscription came out. Currently, don't have any plans for any other exceptions at the moment.

Hope that helps.

I'm not sure if this has been answered, but why do some of the game series list the versions out of order?

For example, https://psnprofiles.com/series/4-grand-theft-auto

You can see for GTA 3, it is listed PS4, PS4, PS5, but for GTA VC, it is listed PS4, PS5, PS4. I've noticed this on quite a few series, so was curious if that's an oversight or intentional.

Also for the SaGa Franchise, stages 4 & 5 should be one stage, as they are the same game. And for ordering SaGa Scarlet Grace is the first version of the game (Vita), whereas Saga Scarlet Grace: Ambitions is the console port (there are some minor content changes).

The UI for users displays the items in a series stage by the GDBID (Game Database ID) sequentially. For San Andreas the order is:

  1. PS3
  2. PS4
  3. PS5
  4. PS4

Or in other words

  1. 4098
  2. 4118
  3. 14601
  4. 14602

All public facing series have their stage content ordered by GDBID, nothing else. It's worth saying this is an automated process and cannot be changed at this time. The series stage order (such as Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, ect.) is ordered by original release date, not PSN release date.

Yeah, I figured it was an automated process. Thanks for explaining it.
