Psychotic's series is in the wrong order. It should be:

 

Stage 1: MechaNika. Originally released in 2015.

 

Stage 2: Agatha Knife. Originally released in 2017.

That's a master list error which only the devs can fix but you can see the correct descriptions by clicking on the respective trophies.

These 3 games are VR Optional, so shouldn't the VR tag be removed? I've never owned a VR and completed them.

Come on, it is literally called VOLUME VR - shouldn't the VR tag remain so users / players know it is playable in VR? Maybe I'm upset that this drops points off my leaderboard total, but I played this game completely in VR and it's titled "Volume VR", but no VR tag. This game has many flat versions available. This version started out VR only - but later made it optional.

It's a two way street, you either discourage people who don't have VR to avoid VR optional games or you discourage people who enjoy playing VR games. If the argument is that games that were originally for VR should have VR tags, then Paranormal Activity, Star Trek Bridge Crew and The Persistence should still have them but they don't. I don't make the rules on this site and they seem to change every few months. I've made a few suggestions regarding tags and how to identify games and I was told that it couldn't be done and now they exist on this site. Maybe there should be a VR Optional tag or have (VR Optional) in the title of the game to avoid confusion.

I agree - and here was my argument for it. Let me know your thoughts. Sadly it was never implemented.

I believe the VR tag is to let PSNP users know that a game requires PSVR device. If a game doesn't require the device, then the tag shouldn't be there.

You aren't taking into consideration the VR trophy hunting community, which is why a "VR Opt" tag would be more beneficial, in every way. This would allow users to know VR isn't required, but the game COULD be played in VR, while also maintaining the leaderboard.

VR is only used for games that require VR to play, so this understanding is correct. If a game no longer requires VR to play, the tag is removed.

It pains me to narc but I don't think I would be able to handle seeing yet another high level trophy whore who's contributed NOTHING to the VR scene come along to take points away from it.

IMO the people who didn't invest in VR shouldn't be given even the slightest consideration. They put no effort, no time & no resource into VR. The VR players put all of that in & more, they are the ones who should be prioritised. Also calling Paranormal Activity 'playable' in the flat mode is a straight-up lie & I think everyone involved in de-tagging should be forced to endure trying that out, because that game is in no way playable flat with that control scheme. 

 

Anyway I did find a game that needs a VR tag so if we could restore a few points to the pool after so many were lost that would be great. The recently released straylight absolutely needs VR to play: https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/20698-straylight

 

Also 'The Rumble Fish' is currently only available as a code that comes with the limited edition Japanese physical copy of Rumble Fish 2.
