That's four! Ghost of Tsushima was absolutely amazing. The story was really intense and interesting, I loved all of the characters, and the combat! It was so much fun, I enjoyed both playthroughs immensely, though obviously the first more than the second. That said, I know it wasn't necessary for the event, but I did get the 100%, and... Legends mode just sucks. It takes away a lot of what I enjoyed about the game already, and makes it more into a difficult, unenjoyable grindfest. The multiplayer thing was an interesting idea, but I don't know, it really didn't grab me I guess. Oh well. Still a good time overall, I'm not going to let a week or so of grinding ruin my vision of a really fun experience.

Could have saved myself a lot of time if I had kept a back up of my first save before the point of no return, but honestly Vampyr is so good in my opinion it was worth the second playthough! Game three since the start of the event and game two that counts completed! It was the first time I played through TWD and it took about 45 hours or so to get through the entire series. Clementine is super badass and I felt a bit cheated that she didn't play a bigger role in season three, however I thought the overarching story between all the seasons (minus Michonne) was really good. I liked the Michonne story just fine, but it had nothing to do with the rest of them. It felt a lot like watching Game of Thrones...don't get too attached to anyone lol I guess it could also feel a lot like watching The Walking Dead on TV...but I've never seen an episode so I don't know  As much as I liked the overall story of the series...as a game this one failed pretty miserably as a 'choose your own adventure'...most of the decisions you make felt irrelevant since the story did what it wanted anyways. This made the gaming experience a lot less enjoyable than it should have been considering how well the stories were. Don't knock over any walls or anything to get this game, but if you're stuck looking for something to play....you could do a lot worse. Let me see what number I can duplicate for my next game to play

To my surprise I overlooked #4 Renzo Racer which I completed 2 weeks ago.
It's a bad Kart Racing Clone and it takes about 2 hours to win 1 race on 20 different tracks.

#6 is Baseball (Challenge Mode Edition): Breakthrough Gaming Arcade with a completion time
under 2 minutes,because there is a trick to slow down the Baseballs, that you have to catch.

Ys kind of became one of my RPG-homes lately. It doesn't look very great, but everything's just so... quick and entertaining. The stories are always just good enough, the combat is fast-paced and fun (especially because of those perfect blocks / evades) and the completion is just enough of a grind that it's not obsolete and not annoying either (very doable without guides too!). And Ys IX does exactly that once again. Add some fun ways of traversing the world (gliding, running up walls, a "demon hookshot") and it's just a pleasant game overall. And I really like games with map completion, probably my biggest nerdism.

Good stuff, I will still continue calling those my "Popcorn RPGs"  Pick one up and try them if you're looking for an action-RPG that doesn't overstay its welcome.

FINALLY on the board!!!  Woot.  That felt like forever before I finished a game.  So Darksiders is in the bag.  I didn't have to do 2 playthroughs but I am glad I did as the Apocolypse run was much easier when I knew what I was doing, where I was going, and had that abyssal armor that kinda makes hard mode, easy.  Now I will do my hard mode run of trails of cold steel 3 this week and finish that game up and it's plat up.

I know that feel. Lol. When I finished my first game I felt like I was behind despite it only being a couple of weeks in if that.

 

I've been really interested in the trails series, but I heard that they are such a time sink... I'll probably play them eventually, but it's hard to find 100 hours to put into a single game anymore imo.

Totally true, Ys is just entertaining, addictive and satisfying gameplay

Last week was all about Ni No Kuni 2. I had completed the main story previously, so I was doing all the side content. I started with tracking down all the tainted monsters. It was a good way to level up and made almost all the other things I've done since trivial in difficulty. The side quests are strange and entertaining. It's been a pretty fun game. However, since I did almost nothing else for a week, I am tired of it and we're taking a break in our relationship. I'm going to move on and play something different this week and come back to Ni No Kuni 2 later to finish off the last few hours it needs for the platinum. This week will focus on either Resident Evil 7 or Mass Effect 3, unless @gruffiiti and I get together to start work on Little Hope.

I almost regret starting Monster Energy Supercross... Really boring game and I did it legit (but actually if I had cheated my way to the wins, I would then spend about the same time grinding the distance, because I end up just a little above 500 Km when I had all the money.. it didn't really took an extreme amount of, the truth is that I'm only playing 4-5 hours a day at most.. well, I'm spending all my other time sleeping.. but then, I should expect that while trying to recover from burnout..).

 

Now I'm not sure what will be next, since I may continue my plan or go sidetracked again... And I really hate the fact that most of the games that I'm inclined to play are really long (and all are #4 apparently..)

Another one down. "0" -> Jak and Daxter. Still sticking strong on the PS3 only goal here. This series just does not hold up. Ratchet, Spyro and Sly all hold up way better, plus they seem to have gotten more love in their re-releases. Quickly decided to cheese this one. After Rift Apart, this one hurt my eyes and motor skills.

 

Still have No More Heroes on the docket. Might round out the PS mascot party here and add Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, which would also wrap up my Sly PS3 platinums.

Got the  for Nights of Azure back in 2016. Had so much fun with the game that i bought Nights of Azure 2 too. But than it got buried under my Backlog Mountain ?

This event is the perfect opportunity to play it. And i have really fun with the game right now.
