Popular Post Im2Fast_4U
0: Ratchet & Clank 1 1: Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault 2: Ratchet & Clank 3: Up Your Arsenal 3: AC Valhalla PS5 Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order PS5 4: Mirror's Edge Catalyst Control PS5 5: Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus 6: Ratchet & Clank 2016 Movie Game 7: Everybody's Gone to the Rapture 8: Mirror's Edge Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One 9: Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time Just finished up Into the Nexus! It was a really fun experience that had some neat innovative movement. It was a shorter game, took about 15 hours total to plat. It felt very similar to the experience I had with Miles Morales, a shorter game that had its good story beats and unique game play features, and otherwise hit home to the series keynotes, though Into the Nexus had a lot of frame dropping (PS3 hardware be like that sometimes). Overall a solid experience that just reinforces how much I have fallen in love with Ratchet and Clank this summer and experiencing the series for the first time ever in my life, quickly vaulting up towards the Uncharted games as my favorite series... The 2016 movie game will be the last for the full badge for the event. My eyes are very much looking forward to playing a game in 4K60 again haha, and then Rift Apart after that! This has been such a fun ride, and I'm finally on the home stretch after a bumpy start!
Popular Post ladynadiad
0 - Sparkle 2 (PS4) ✔️ 1 - Metropolis: Lux Obscura (NA Vita) 2 - Norman's Great Illusion (NA Vita) 3 - Pic-A-Pix Color 2 (NA PS4) 4 - Portal of Evil: Stolen Runes (NA PS4), Nier Automata 5 - Gaps by POWGI (NA PS4) 6 - Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk 7 - Kotodama 8 - Children of Morta 9 - Zero Escape: The Nonary Games, Flower (19%), Earthlock Almost done with Children of Morta and definitely appreciate the rec because that was actually a pretty decent game. I definitely think calling it a roguelike is inaccurate because if all roguelikes were like this game, I'd love the genre. To me it plays more like an action RPG with very smooth gameplay and some roguelike elements (mostly the randomized dungeons). I liked how it didn't feel like the game was punishing you for dying because when you die the first few times it progresses the story more and you eventually unlock stuff that lets you succeed whether it be more upgrades or new characters. So instead it feels like you are being rewarded and are making some progress even if you were defeated. The two biggest things I dislike about the genre is how it always feels like you're wasting time if you fail and how slow the combat is since most of them play more like turn based strategy games (which is another genre I dislike and suck at). Definitely would be up for more games that play like Children of Morta rather than ones that play like Sorcery Saga. All I got left now is collecting one souvenir that is very determined to not appear for me, finding 10 secrets (I think I have found 4) and the co-op trophies which probably will require me actually playing on my PS4 and not remote playing on my Vita (though I have to say this game looks really nice on the Vita's small screen, retro graphics usually don't look as nice on large TVs). Edit: Wrapped up Children of Morta. Seems you can do co-op via remote play and if someone doesn't have a second controller but has a Vita that's another way to do it and amazingly during my co-op run the last souvenir showed up (of course because I complained about it RNG decided to favor me). The secrets were a major pain in the butt to get though but apparently I had found 5 while earning other trophies. The Steam title I'm speaking of is this Definitely a different dev and publisher and not much in common achievement wise when usually a PC port has similar achievements with maybe a few cut out if the PC version has too many achievements. It's actually a remake of that PC game! The two producers at Spike Chunsoft was originally just going to port the game to consoles but instead asked the original developer of One Way Heroics if they could create a remake from scratch, and he agreed to it. Popular Post papert0wng1rl
Two more games done and now I am on the home stretch. Finally completed Need for Speed Heat! This one was pretty straight-forward, but a bit grindy, like any racing game. Getting to REP 50 was more fun than I anticipated, once I figured out a good spot to race and lose the cops. Getting 1 million REP in one night was a heart-pounding challenge, which was also a lot of fun. Naturally, NFS Heat's greatest appeal is nighttime racing. Fantastic graphics, challenging traffic, and super aggressive cops make for an interesting experience. A couple of speed traps can be a plat blocker (looking at you, River Fever), but nothing is impossible with sheer perseverance. The Order: 1886 is my newest plat, and I must say I loved the experience. Sure, it felt like the story ended just as it began taking on speed, and there are some unanswered questions, but this game was so unique and rich in detail that I didn't mind. I know I'm not the only one wishing for a sequel. Really straight-forward trophy list too, and I barely had to do any collectible clean-up after my initial blind playthrough. Now that we have only two weeks left in August, I see myself working on Control (minus the DLC) this week, and doubling down on My Friend Pedro in the last few days of the challenge. I only have to complete the levels on S-rank, which is certainly going to be tough but I'm not giving up. 0 - Tomb Raider Anniversary (PS3) [830] 1 - The Order: 1886 [3291] 2 - Lego: Jurassic World (PS3) [3622] 3 - Tomb Raider Underworld (PS3) [73] 4 - Control [9544] 5 - Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter [4955] 6 - A Plague Tale: Innocence [9036] 7 - Grand Theft Auto V (PS4) [3147] 8 - Need for Speed Heat [9908] 9 - My Friend Pedro [10629] [79% Completed]
Popular Post Han_the_Dragon
Finely finished the 10 games! I end up spending more time on P5S than planned, thanks to nearly 2 full playthroughs, and me grinding Treasure Demons to make a Lilith and Succubus (the Succubus was essentially just for a screenshot, since in this game the spell tier actually is important, unlike in the RPGs where it's best to have big variety of low level magic to save SP while exploiting weaknesses..). To save time, I end up doing Syberia 2 to finish fast.. 10/10 0 - Burly Men at Sea [6490] 1 - Syberia 2 [3481] 2 - Mahjong Royal Towers PS4/EU [6852] 3 - Degrees of Separation EU [8703] 4 - Tokyo Dark: Remembrance [10204] 5 - Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair [2855] 6 - Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords [4376] 7 - Monster Energy Supercross [7227] 8 - The Occupation [8798] 9 - Persona 5 Strikers [12399] Now, I will probably go to FF7R PS5 or Ghost of Tsushima, since I don't think I will have enough time to focus on a rush hunt into Lollipop Chainsaw.. Still as the other times, it was quite a fun event! Edited August 18, 2021 by Han_the_Dragon

Popular Post gruffiiti
Been on a bit of a puzzle and point/click adventure kick lately so my number 7 game ends up being Irony Curtain: From Matryoshka with Love. It is an adventure about a young man from America who idealizes Communism and tries to share his views on a live TV debate broadcast. When he gets a chance to visit the Communist country of Matryoshka he jumps at the chance and through plenty of wit and humour his tale unfolds. If you are a fan of point and click games this one has a lot going for it. The writing and graphics were really good and its not your typical story. With that I have completed this event. Good luck to everyone else still coming down the final stretch! 1 - The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope [100%] 2 - Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments [100%] 3 - A Tale Of Paper [100%] 4 - Megaquarium [100%] 5 - Peaky Blinders: Mastermind [100%] 6 - Tom Clancy's The Division 2 [100%] 7 - Irony Curtain: From Matryoshka with Love [00%] --> [100%] 8 - Children of Morta [100%] 9 - Transistor [100%] 0 - Kentucky Route Zero: TV Edition [100%]

Was nearly done with Portal of Evil and in the middle of the bonus chapter when the game crashed. On top of it crashing, the save data corrupted and now I have to start all over again to unlock the bonus chapter again. Also have to actually finish all the hidden object scenes without hints again since I didn't get that trophy yet. The only good thing is that I got the trophy for not skipping minigames so I can skip the pain in the ass ones this time around and I don't have to worry about finding all the letters since I got that trophy too.
Popular Post SyIaris
Let's carry on the chain, shall we? All finished! Thanks for another round of digging through games I forgot I had @eigen-space - all but two have been sitting in my backlog for ages. Enjoyed all but Datura, too. 4450 - Okage: Shadow King 3291 - The Order: 1886 3992 - Assassin's Creed Syndicate 1443 - Datura 1494 - LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes 1945 - Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon 5336 - Uncanny Valley 10867 - Maneater 9768 - Children of Morta4239 - Level 22 @ladynadiad If you look for "roguelites" you'll find more, generally means it's not a complete wipe if you die. Rogue Legacy and Hades are good as well, though RL has platforming and may not be your thing. Both have upgrades back at your base, and Hades progresses the story and lets you talk to NPCs when you die or find them in levels.

A weird game just like the last one that was really similar. Looking back I had a good mix of longer games that I finished up and some easy ones. There were also some great games and ones I would not recommend, looking at you my #9. Half the fun is finding the right mix and making them fit in the right spaces. Thanks for a great event as always, see you next year I hope.

I thought I might need to pivot because I wasn't sure how long or difficult the Hades plat would be, but it turns out the answer to both is "not very." Honestly, despite the rave reviews, it's not my favorite Supergiant game - I think I burned myself out on roguelikes from playing too much Isaac - but I'd put it on par with Pyre, which is high praise in and of itself. It is so different from this newer book but one of the best stand alone fantasy books out there, once you get acquainted to the writing style it uses. 13 Sentinels has been rotting in my backlog for a bit, I may just do that if nothing else jumps out at me. Flower for the Vita was not to bad as I recall , minus the one for getting no damage in one of the last stages. I think Flow is much worse as it requires more precision moving, especially if you want to get trophies like cannibalism. 7 minutes ago, Xylobe said: 13 Sentinels has been rotting in my backlog for a bit, I may just do that if nothing else jumps out at me. I need to finish the story for 13 sentinels myself but the art and story are pretty cool. Strange takes some getting used to, just a word of warning. A great read but very flowery language that seems to throw some readers off. Underneath that is a great tale. The netflix series based on ot is pretty spot on too. Might be different with the Vita, on the PS3 it feels really rough and hard to get the hang of, probably because the game doesn't really explain the controls that well. Probably going to hate that one for getting no damage in the later stage. I'm usually not fond of artsy sorts of games and dislike gimmicky playstyles and this just has both wrapped up in the same package. I almost decided not to sync this one and go for Earthlock instead. My journey through Ratchet and Clank is nearing its end, and I have finished up every number for the event! While the 2016 movie game certainly lost a lot of the charm found in the original, that was to be expected from a game based on the film adaptation. By no means was this a bad game at all, quite the contrary. While devoid of the charm and humor the rest of the series is known for, the gameplay here was incredibly smooth and was graphically stunning. While I was playing it on PS5 for the 4K60 benefits, the game had a clear fresh paint of coat that brought the iconic series into the modern era. This game looked and felt as visually appealing as the Spyro and Crash remasters, and leaves me begging to see all of the older Ratchet games get brought up to that same standard (even though they all still hold up incredibly well!), though I digress. This was an absolute blast beginning to end, and I had so much fun sharing my thoughts as well as seeing everyone else's progress here in the thread!!! Good luck to everyone in the coming days to finish up their badges!
Popular Post Sardavanua
Almost done with my list. Since my last update I managed to play through SOMA and Goat Simulator with a few friends of mine. SOMA was simply too scary for me, I just can't play horror games when I'm alone and Goat Simulator is rather boring in solo mode, so we played through the game in local-coop. No clue what my last game is going to be, maybe Star Hammer: The Vanguard Prophecy. In Crimes you more or less only needed to solve a few locks and that´s it. But neverless i would recommend the game because it was really fun to play. My full list: 0. Alice: Madness Returns 1. Tokyo Xanadu eX+ 2. Concrete Genie 3. Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punichments 4. Saturday Morning RPG 5. Biomutant 6. Deponia 7. Nights of Azure 2 8. Murdered: Soul Suspect 9. Song of Memories Thank you @eigen-space and @jens for putting this event togehter and of course @Spacey Dweeb for creating ths awesome badge. Will make sure to play in the next Gaming by numbers too.
