Finished my next game, LEGO Legends of Chima for the Vita, which reminded me why I decided not to go on a LEGO binge this time around: LEGO GAMES ARE BORING. Having to finish the 11 levels of this game was tedious and mind-numbing and I had to keep recharging my Vita before it ran out of juice. Forget about doing the fifteen or twenty levels in a PS4 LEGO game! ?

 

Anyways, I changed my listing of progress to text-based because copy-pasting icons on the site was also tedious. I've been having more fun playing Miitopia these days.

I replayed it for the first time in several years wanting to clean up a few easier PS3 games, and I must say, I still think this is the weakest RE game in the series. It doesn't really do horror that great or action that great either. It's kind of mediocre across the board. I never had that feeling of suspense like I did the other entries, but at least it makes for some fun co-op I guess!

Almost forgot about this one because I completed it so close to Block-a-Crap

 

It's kind of difficult to summarize my opinion on this one because I might be pretty biased. I played it alongside a SaGa-buff and that made it more entertaining. Going through the story at the same pace (for about half the game), asking some questions about those oddities in the game and slowly getting it. It was like having a human strategy guide around, that was very convenient  That made it a very unique beast and an interesting experience at the same time. So I definitely did get my enjoyment out of it overall, absolutely.

But without that circumstance I could see myself being confused way too much about some mechanics in the game. The story progression can be weird, your character progression IS weird (but still interesting), everything is just a bit... odd. I can see a world in which I wouldn't have the motivation digging through those oddities on my own to be honest, but I'm not sure. That's a scenario I will never experience

 

So if you're looking for a unique take on RPGs and can easily accept some dated (but enhanced) qualities you could look into this one and give it a whirl. If you get annoyed by being confused once in a while with somewhat basic things... maybe wait for a sale.

Not much progress for me this weekend.

 

Finished Murdered: Soul Suspect (not on my list for this event but oh well).

 

Started Alice: Madness Returns and got a few throphies in the game.

 

The bad news is that my PS3 crushed on me on thursday ( so i hijacked my sisters PS3 ) and like the dumb person i am i didn´t save anything in the cloud server. So i have to start every game from scratch ?

Not quick platinums, mind you, since I was unable to get the Vita plat on the same day as the PS4 plat, but easy word games as you can find solutions to the puzzles on the Internet these days.

@eigen-space A question: If I get all the possible trophies in a game that's impossible to platinum, will it count or not? Edit: Ignore the stuff about NFS The Run... both of the PS3 that I have here and should still be working,  no longer work (automatically turn off, YLOD...). So, the only PS3 in working condition for me is now 200 km away...

I am switching up my line-up. I'm not adding anything I haven't already started at some point in the past, but what I am in the mood for lately feels much different than the day I created my list. So here's the new plan (which I'm sure I'll alter in a few days time). I'm keen to complete Mass Effect sooner rather than later, so I'm putting those in place of Hollow Knight and Saints Row The Third. I am kind of gutted about Hollow Knight though. I really do want to give that game my proper attention soon. I'll probably pick it up right after I finish everything for this event. Tiny Troopers is something I intended to finish before the event started; however, my Vita broke. I've repaired it and now I'm finishing that game up. There's just one trophy left; and I'll pop that tonight. It's going to count for this event whether I want it to or not. I don't want to leave the trophy for later. I'd rather just be done with it so I can uninstall the game; as my Vita has really limited space. The other two swaps, I'm not as sure about. I'm in the mood for something scary. I might have my fill from finishing Resident Evil 7 which was already on the list, but Little Hope and Alien Isolation are being considered to replace Salt and Sanctuary and/or Hotline Miami, if I want more horror in my life. I'm also less stoked about Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation as I had a save glitch on me and refuse to load. Glad I'm early in the game, but it makes me hesitant to try it again.

I platinumed Bucket Knight to push me to 139 trophies. Not easy but getting every trophy is doable. Just exercise your patience as the goblins shooting triple shots are the worst enemies in that game. No boss fights, the boss levels are just trying to dodge these one-eyed bats which shoot triple shots in three directions. Just get to the portal to exit each level and get the final treasure at the end, and be sure to buy all guns(so save up 30000 coins) and you will get the plat.

 

Only two games left.

If you need more information on the game @eigen-space did some really detailed guides here on psnp. Maybe it helps with the questions you are having? If i buy the game i would totally look through them
