Swashbuckler trophy and lowering the difficulty

Having a bit of trouble getting 'Swashbuckler' and I'm considering lowering the difficulty to Story Mode to get it. If I do the switch and then reload my save prior to changing the difficulty will I still be able to get the trophy for beating the game on Classic Mode or will this void the trophy? I guess I could always back up my saves first just to be on the safe side. 
 

Edit: I uploaded my saves to the cloud first and then downloaded them after earning the ‘Swashbuckler’ trophy. At the end of the game I didn’t have any trouble earning difficulty trophies. As a note I nearly wiped out the attackers during my crushing chest Honor Mode run, however you would loose the chest after killing the last enemy as it immediately triggers a cutscene transition.
