The only decent videos ive found that helps give good tips, advice and general info for whats required for getting 5 stars.

EDIT: So I ended up not using the videos, and completed the game anyway. Since the only available trophy guide is pretty awful in regards to having any information or help, I made some notes for each event to give people an idea for whats required to get 5 stars on everything:

 

- Tournaments
    - Easy              = 8 Goals [Beginner Difficulty, 2v2]
    - Confronter    = 8 Goals [Rookie Difficulty, 1v1]
    - Triple             = 7 Goals [Average Difficulty, 3v3]
    - Pair                = 7 Goals [Novice Difficulty, 2v2]
    - Ringer           = 7 Goals [Hard Difficulty, 3v3]
    - Loaded         = 7 Goals [Difficult Difficulty, 4v4]
    - Faceoff         = 7 Goals [Fair Difficulty, 1v1]
    - Triplet           = 5 Goals [Average Difficulty, 3v3]
    - Overflow      = 5 Goals [Aggressive Difficulty, 4v4]
    - Duo              = 5 Goals [Mediocre Difficulty, 2v2]
    - Rival             = 5 Goals [Tough Difficulty, 1v1]
    - Trio              = 5 Goals [Tough Difficulty, 3v3]
