U Know U A Playa 3 minute increments?

I may be wrong but it appears to me that U Know U A Playa seems to only be increased by 3 minutes for every level I spend more than that in. I've done a couple now where I've basically run around for 10 mins and then completed the level but it still only increased by 3 mins.

 

Anyone else seen this or am I imaging it?

Are you just running around, or actively doing stuff in the level too?

Ah ha. Yes I was just running around, making sure I was moving. I made an assumption there and didn't even check the guide as it seemed simple enough!
