Teammates with Skills that can be used for trophies

Recommended Posts

In the PS3 Release of ME1 powers used by squadmates, even when activated manually, did not count for the trophies. Only what Sheppard activated from his own skills was counted. See the trophy guide from ME1 on PS3 for reference (Steps 4 and 5).

This guide (German origin, auto-translated into English) is a bit more detailed for those steps. Advice: Did not check until now if that is working in LE: ME1 as it was working in PS3's ME1, so hope someone finds the time to try this possible solution.

I stand corrected, look below.

In the Remaster the powers of squad mates count, when you activate them manually.

I already did that for all power based trophies.

The only power that you need on Shepard is Neural Shock (Engineer), because no squad mate has this power.

Teammates skills counts for the trophy with this one, as per the developer AMA themselves. It's possible to get everything on 1 run

Yes, as you can see I edited my post. But, maybe post a quote for a information source for this: " as per the developer AMA themselves"?

I honestly forgot what the links is but it's somewhere in reddit, it's about ME Legendary achievement thread iirc, it was also posted somewhere in this forum either here or the one for the split ME Legendary trophy list

What does "can be applied to the mako" mean?

You can use the skill when you land on an uncharted world >> Use the Mako as a target >> And you can use the skill.

==> At least: This was written down by the author on a German trophy board. Reason: Not every skill can be used at the same type of target.

.. Guess, you can also write "Can be used with the Mako as a target", but I was too lazy to translate this in my own words :D.

That's what i thought, i just got confused by the wording :D Thanks again, that list is vert helpful! Didn't understand why some of them didn't pop when used without targets.

Maybe I fix this, when I am in the mood to do this. :D
But, overall, I am happy with the quality of the translation function of this page: Google Translate Web - iTools

Didn't understand why some of them didn't pop when used without targets

==> Reason: Some (tech) skills use mines as carrier, those mines need something which triggers them. And not every target can be used as a trigger.
Notice: I do not now currently, if the targets I wrote down are 100% correct. This needs confirmation.

/Edit1:

I will update my original list when I did all the tests. Noticed that Damping did not work on the Mako, but noticed another funny thing which did work in ME1 on PS3:

  1. Find a camp with random enemies, like that mercenary camp on Presrop (Number 7, red circle).
  2. Save your game manually.
  3. Go to the mercenaries and when you are near them, rotate the usage of skills between your Shep and your squad (In my playthrough I used my Infiltrator Shep with Damping skill level 1, Garrus with Damping Skill level 1 and Tali with Damping skill level 1).
  4. If your skills are on cooldown, just reload your last manual save.
  5. Repeat step 3 and 4 until you are done. Trophies should pop.

/Edit2:

  • Finally got all of those "Use xyz 25 times trophies".
  • Overload and Sabotage where achieved while I was playing normally.
  • AI hacking was mastered during the "Rescue Liara" mission: Save >> Find a geth >> Hack it >> Load >> Find a geth >> Hack it >> Repeat until trophy pops.
  • All the others where achieved while using the mercenary camp on Presrop with constant loading of the same savegame after a skill was used.

@Geridian What do you mean by " Can be used on the Transport"  & "Terminals in the Citadel"

I did not write "Transport & Terminal",  but I wrote "Transport Terminal", which is also called "Citadel Rapid Transit". See this link: https://www.xboxachievements.com/forum/topic/194059-citadel-transport-terminals/

==> This was not so hard to understand, was it?

Take this as a grain of salt but i think using it without any target counts too since early on i tried to play around and spam these skills without any target and when there's an eventual target I'll get it in just a few uses.

do you need to manually use your squads abilities? or if you have squad AI set to Active will they still register when they use them automatically?

You have to manually use squad abilities. I set mine to defensive only and they're usually ready to go whenever I need them

Snip

AI hacking needs a synthetic target. Wrote this also in my list and even mentioned a good place for this. Just read it up some posts above in the spoiler :).
