Mr_Freaker
To what extent can old MGS4 savefiles be used? With old save files I mean those that were created before the release of patch 2.00 For instance if you have a save file that lacks 3 songs and you continue to play to achieve those 3 songs, will the trophy pop? Or if you already have the Tanegashima, can you obtain the trophy by just firing it?
rallysportev
Just adding my two cents and I could be wrong about this but I thought I read somewhere that you needed new game saves in order to achieve the trophies which means you wouldn't be able to use your old save. zadorvp
You'll need a new, post-trophy patch save to earn any trophies.
Mr_Freaker
But I don't want to achieve Big Boss emblem again
ShadowGandalf
Sorry, but you got no choice. If you want the trophy, you'll HAVE to start from scratch... Sorry to bear bad news but that's the way it is. It was the same when GTA4 first got trophies.
Parker
As the others said, you'll need to start a brand new save in order to start unlocking trophies. Parker
