It's really not surprising that they're still banking on the success of the game. I mean the game was released in 2013 originally and the demand for it is still so high which speaks volumes about the kind of steam the game still has after that many years later. It's not surprising to see that the next logical move would be to refine it a little and give it a fresh new coat of paint. From a business POV, it would be completely idiotic for R* to abandon GTA 5 which is easier to maintain than build a new game from the ground-up if you're still raking in lots and lots of cash from Shark Cards. From a fan POV, of course I'd love to see what's next for the series but with GTA 5 still being super successful, I'm not sure we're going to see a GTA 6 any time soon. 6 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But Rockstar would have had to make an effort. I wouldn't do what for if I consistently generate income with a product programmed a hundred years ago. We’ll get a PS6 before GTA 6 releases - if we’re lucky.
