Popular Post bebecaow
Hey all, this game has been in my backlog for a long time, and with Village releasing I decided to complete it. I guess a lot of people are doing the same right now, and I found myself struggling with some of the more difficult DLC trophies and I think the guides that are up leave out some pretty helpful tips. So I thought I'd share a few pointers that helped me through completing this great game. I hope that this will be useful to anyone having a hard time. Banned Footage Vol. 1 Night Terror It took me a couple of tries to get this right, but on my successful run I made it through using only the following: - Knife - Circular saw - Corrosive - Adrenaline - First aid kits - 44 Mag - x2 +250 starting scrap My strategy was actually really simple for this. I bought the corrosive straight off the bat in order to get all of the compactors up and running. Then I made it through the first round using only the knife. This is probably the most challenging part of the entire ordeal. Once you get the hang of enemy attacking patterns it isn't that difficult though. Once I could afford it I bought the circular saw and camped in the starting room. If you crouch by the door at the right angle and just keep the saw going you can kill almost everything that comes your way without even getting hit. I only collected scrap from the compactors at the end of each hour. For the first fight against Jack I used a neuro pad and destroyed him with the circular saw while he was stunned. After getting the circular saw I bought the 44 mag and ammo for it whenever I could afford it. I also stacked up on Adrenaline toward the later rounds as a fail safe. For the fat molded as well as the final Jack fight I mainly used the 44 mag. Ethan Must Die I watched a lot of video guides for this, and I think this is the best one. A lot of trial and error goes into this, but once you make it all the way to the boss fight you should be able to kill Marguerite easily. Banned footage Vol. 2 Survival+ This is all about having the right rewards unlocked and counting cards. I made sure to have Ultimate Draw unlocked before attempting this. I would suggest getting Trump Switch+ as well although I was able to beat it without it. Save your destroy cards and perfect draw+ cards for the opponents that can "1 hit" you. If you play your cards right, you'll almost always be able to be certain that you will win the round. When you are forced to take chances, make sure that you have a good understanding of which cards remain in the deck and use a shield if you are worried about taking a hit. End of Zoe Joe Must Die Before attempting Joe Must Die I made sure to do all of the extreme challenges on normal in order to unlock the spirit blade. This is actually not that difficult, so don't be intimidated by it. I'd really recommend following a video guide for this as some sections can be quite difficult without one. I think this guide by MrReign is really useful. Craft bombs whenever you are able to. You can use 2 bombs in the graveyard section and still easily have 4 bombs left over for the final boss battle if you use your spirit blade and grub to heal. For the final boss I set off all of the bombs that I had left over and for the remainder of the fight I only used the spirit blade. Getting the boss down takes some time, but I found this to be the easiest method. The only guns you need This can be completed with both the single AMG and the dual-AMG:s. I'd recommend using the dual-AMG and doing this after completing Joe Must Die. Completing Joe Must Die will give you a good sense of how to avoid gators and how to deal with 4-legged molded. Using the dual-AMG will also allow you to breeze through the boss fights. Not a Hero Professional difficulty My strategy for this was to unlock easy deflect by doing a sub 1 hour speedrun. This is listed as optional in the trophy guide, but I strongly recommend doing this as the DLC can easily be completed in under 1 hour and it makes life on professional difficulty that much easier. If you're stuck on anything MrReign has another awesome guide for this that can be found here. Edited May 23, 2021 by bebecaow

dakk55
Good tips, especially for 21 Survival+. I've saved up 3 or 4 Destroy cards and they saved my bacon, especially when Hoffman decides to put up 4 2-Up cards or a 24/27 Count Card. It was actually funny to see him backpedal and try to use a Return card after he busted when I changed the count back to 21. EDIT: I was going to post this in the other thread, but that one is closed now. I recommend unlocking Harvest, Trump Switch+, Ultimate, and Perfect Draw cards. Harvest can easily fill up your inventory if you play it before using 2 or 3 2-Up cards to knock out Hoffman, I also recommend using a Trump Switch+ at this point too if you have the space. In one round I easily filled up my Inventory while forcing Hoffman to bust when I exchanged cards at the end. If any of you don't know, the last opponent tends to use the Oblivion card to end the round early and restart a new one, usually when he's about to lose. So try to not use up all of your Trump cards by then. Make sure to check and see if you can win against Hoffman with the cards you have already before trying to get rid of Dead Silence if he uses it. I didn't need to get rid of Dead Silence since I already had 21 and Hoffman had enough bets racked up against him to take him out. Montyzu
I got so lucky with the survival+ trophy that I can't even believe it. I was 1 point away from dead and Undead Hoffman used a perfect draw so he had a 21 and I was busted with 24 with no more trump cards to play but on the next round I got a 24 trump card so I played it and the AI was forced to draw another one which ended up busting him lmao. Ended up with my 24 against his 26. Hate cassino trophies, Im so glad I got them "easily".
VigilantCrow
Got through Survival + without any damage. AI on the first opponent is terrible and I suspect it's on purpose. Draw as many times as possible and build up your trump card deck on this guy. Use that to coast through the other 9. You'll also face off against the shield focused opponent at some point and they constantly use the card that gives both players a free trump. I went out of my way to throw rounds and use my extra shields to avoid damage, while replacing cards. Assume the opponent always has 21 and disrupt them. It's a very easy game mode, no actual luck involved once you have your trumps stockpiled. Edited March 30, 2022 by VigilantCrow
Janire1911
For completing End of Zoe using only your fists just start a playthrough on Normal, die a few times and when the game asks if you want to lower the difficulty answer yes and then just complete the playthrough. For some reason it still counts as a Normal difficulty run even though it's much easier, at least it did for me and i got the trophy. Just finished End of Zoe on Joe Must Die, found it pretty tough considering guide says 4/10. I went to cemetery with no nail bombs which I regretted as took me ages to punch the two fat molded to death

Madhouse difficulty in the base game is nothing compared to this.

Use a good guide (personally I used this one by MrReign) and once you've learned the path to take and the tricks and strats to use just keep trying and you'll get it eventually.
