Bugged Trophies

That happened to me 2 times, last year on PS4 Remastered version so I had to play from beginning for it, and this time on PS5 but this time I made save file before that mission and reloaded and replay it to get it. It's safe to make manual save files before doing anything and keep an eye on the trophy list so you make sure you get all trophies popped, auto save will screw you over.

The trophies which require you to complete all city takeover gameplay in the Downtown district, New Colvin district, Stanfield district, Carver Island district, and in the entire city of Steelport, complete all instances of insurance fraud, trafficking, heli assault, mayhem, escort, snatch, trail blazing, guardian angel, tank mayhem, and Professor Genki's Super Ethical Reality Climax, finding 25% of all collectibles, and completing all challenges weren't earned upon fulfilling the requirements. Fortunately, they were eventually earned after deleting the game, downloading it again, and continuing it again. Unfortunately, the progress displays the same for each trophy to suggest that they were earned on August 24, 2022 at 8:05 PM.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if one of the little snitches on here cries "hacked trophies" and reports you to the Cheater Removal Team. I hope that it doesn't happen to you but it's become clear to me that you have some on here that have nothing better to do than to dig through a person's list hoping to find something out of place so they can get their jollies off by reporting it.

Anyway, what console are all you guys playing on? What region? I've platinumed/100%'ed this game twice (NA PS3 and PS4) and never had an issue with any of the trophies. The UK PS4 stack is next up on my list after I finish the mind-numbing grind of a trophy in Sniper Elite VR for all weapons mastered so this thread has me a little worried.

Knowing how people have the tendency to accuse without evidence, it gives credence to your claims. Especially with consideration how, as you said, they also are overly interested in viewing the profiles of other members on PSNProfiles, only to then critique them based on superficial reasons and unsubstantiated claims.

I played Saints Row: The Third: Remastered on the PlayStation 5 from North America. Ironically, I also played it on the Xbox Series X recently without any achievements not unlocking when their respective requirements were fulfilled.

I was recently just removed from the leaderboards on here because some little pussy dug through all my games and found a platinum from a game I platinumed 4 years ago out of order. Even though every LOGICAL piece of evidence and other member's comments pointed to the reason for the out-of-order time stamps as being a result of the "Vita trick gone wrong" I remain off the leaderboards... unless of course I hide that particular game which, fuck that, I'm not going to do because I never cheated a single goddamn trophy since I started this trophy hunting madness back in 2012 and I'm certainly not going to hide a game that I unlocked all its trophies LEGIT! Dude, come on, who the fuck needs to hack trophies for One Tap Hero, lmao?! So, whatever, the leaderboards can suck my nuts and whoever the little spiteful piece of shit is that clearly had nothing better to do at all than to go through my entire list and report me can go get hit by a bus.

I just really hope that you don't get flagged for this or if you do that the flag will be lifted because I know firsthand how INFURIATING it is to be be accused of something you know isn't true. But what's even more infuriating is being punished for it. I struggle with staying here on this site as a member every day because of it because after all this happened, this site has truly left a terrible taste in my mouth. If you DO get flagged I'll speak up for ya if you open a dispute. Not sure what good my "speaking up" will do, lol, but I'll at least try.

Hearing that the problem with Saints Row's trophies is related to the PS5 is a huge sigh of relief to me (as I'm not really too sure at this point if I'll ever even buy a PS5) but it sucks to read that this is causing problems for others. I wish I had a solution. Sorry to you and others for your problems and that I can offer no help.

I'm sorry about your experiences! There should have been a thorough investigation conducted before any decisions were made about your account. However, even so, if people were validating your claims by explaining the situation and what the probable cause was, it should have sufficed for enough information without any investigation needing to be conducted. The reason being that they don't stand to gain anything from lying on your behalf. I agree with your decision to refuse hiding any games from your profile. The innocent party shouldn't accept wrongful guilt.

Speaking from personal experiences, I have been accused under pretenses that were false before, and even with apologies from the people involved in said situations, it hasn't changed the opinions of other people. To be accused and condemned when you know yourself to be innocent is debilitating. I appreciate your willingness to speak on my behalf should any repercussions occur! With that being said, I should take a screenshot of my game screen with the respective requirements fulfilled, to provide the necessary evidence that supports my claims, and avoid any potential issues with the Cheater Removal Team.

I understand! The PlayStation 5 is currently an expensive console without a large catalog. I appreciate your sentiment towards my situation! I only would that I could be of more help to yours.

Ha! Imagine that? The CRT responded with "We have no way of knowing if it was the Vita trick gone wrong or hacked trophies". Gee, I don't know, a thorough investigation and common sense, perhaps? There was no investigation.

Had there been and had all the pieces been put together I think it would've been clear and convincing evidence that it was the Vita trick that did it. But they don't care. Too much work anyway so fuck it, ban him from the leaderboards. I mean, shit, look through my list and see just how many times I've used this Vita trick to get other region's Vita games on my list. I've done it a gazillion times. So what's the probability of this Vita trick going south on me eventually? And guess what, eventually it did, lol!

Here's my waste-of-time dispute if you care to read it: https://forum.psnprofiles.com/topic/129658-mrtaconinjas-dispute (scroll all the way up if it for some reason places you on the bottom of the page like it did for me when I tested the link). Yeah, I get it, do the Vita trick at your own risk. But it still doesn't mean I agree with the consequences.

There should be exceptions to the rules when the reputation of a person is considered. Such as when said person hasn't violated any of the rules before. Guilt shouldn't be assumed but rather proven. Your dispute is a prime example of it. If neither your innocence or guilt can be proven, the worst shouldn't be assumed where evidence is lacked.

And that's the thing, ya know? Look at the whole picture and not just the out-of-order time stamp of the platinum. Yes, the time stamp is all messed up, but if you can't tell either way the reason for this (hacked or Vita trick gone south) just on face value, DIG DEEPER! Don't just apply this blanket coverage and remove me anyway as it implies that I CHEATED! I mean, look at the name of the team that removes players from the leaderboards: CHEATER Removal Team!

As far as digging deeper is concerned, LOOK through everything I have and ask yourself, has he done this before? Is it highly probable that after almost 4 years later he assumed he got away with it and was comfortable and confident enough to do it again without getting caught... but yet, he never did it again nor at any time before that? Is it not odd as hell that he only "cheated" once? Are we, as the Cheater Removal Team, fully aware that this Vita trick DOES go south on people? Yes, of course they're fully aware of it so again, ask yourself, could the reason for this out-of-order timestamp be a direct result of the Vita trick gone wrong, especially given the shear number of times he's performed this Vita trick before?

Does this player really need to hack a trophy set from a shovelwear piece of shit game called One Tap Hero with a quick, gimme platinum? Is he seriously THAT fucking idiotic to jeopardize his trophy hunting reputation on a game like that?! There are many more points I can touch on but you get the gist. In my case all you really have to do is apply common sense and stop being so damn hung up on a date and time something unlocked. And you said it best: "There should be exceptions to the rules when the reputation of a person is considered"

But, nope, of course not. It's not their reputation so what do they care. Not one shred of evidence points towards me hacking trophies. On a side note, after you read my dispute thread did it not seem to you like I was being vilified, like I was the bad guy or something? I noticed as well (as I always do) the pile of reputation points being amassed on people's comments towards me (the majority of those people giving the rep points are usually ALWAYS the same ones that give rep points to whoever speaks out against all that I ever say in other threads, too, lol).

People in that Dispute thread also said I broke the rules... how did I break the rules? The Vita trick is allowed on here! Nowhere does it say that I can DO the Vita trick but it's against the rules to mess UP the Vita trick. The only thing that's stated is that you're doing the trick at your own risk because if timestamps get out of wack, no more leaderboards for you. Fair enough though, the warning IS there and I respect that.

Fine, remove me; that's all well and good. But I shouldn't be flagged as a fucking cheater! Screw the leaderboards, I never gave a rat's ass about it. It's the whole "cheating" part that people are going to assume about me that has me pissed because if anyone that knows anything about the leaderboards sees that I'm not on there that's EXACTLY what they're going to assume. Every goddamn day I when I come on this site I have to look at THIS bullshit:

Screenshot 2022-08-26 2.46.43 PM

"Flagged for leaderboard removal. Reason: CHEATED trophies". They have no way of knowing one way or another though, remember? But yet that stain on my profile remains and what I have to look at every time I come on here.

Listen, sorry for this long-winded response, lol. This entire situation has had me pissed since the day it started. And guess what?! It didn't end here! Oh no, this shit spilled over into ANOTHER website as well! A big thank you to @SegaJAM for putting me on point to it:

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/264562-playstation-5/80111329 and https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/691087-playstation-4/80111324. So, yup, all across the gaming community MrTacoNinja is known as the "cheater".

Now on to the original reason that this forum was created (?): Saints Row! Dude... what's with all the hate for the newest Saints Row game? I was watching/reading tons of reviews and the negatives from the gaming community definitely outweigh the positives. From what I saw of this latest Saints Row game I can't wait to get my hands on it! It looks awesome!

-EDIT-

Yaaaaay, an online trophy: https://psnprofiles.com/trophy/17624-saints-row/40-prankster! Naturally they just had to have a goddamn online trophy that requires that bullshit PS Plus scam service! Naturally.Yup, god forbid a game doesn't have online multiplayer trophies nowadays! My sub ends in November. I regretted buying it and have no plans to ever renew it... but if I want the platinum this fucking Plus garbage is mandatory.    ?

PS) I'm assuming Plus is required. I mean, isn't it usually? It just feels like developers get a bonus incentive or something from Sony if they push Sony's online agenda, which forces more purchased subscriptions which also = fantastic news for the Sony greed machine.

The reason why One Tap Hero was flagged should be reworded if no irrefutable evidence can be provided to support the claims. Especially since it has caused the written harassment being faced on a different website. People don't understand how overwhelming it can become.

Saints Row has received mixed or average reviews due to it suffering from myriad bugs and technical issues. Reviews have suggested that it's outdated in every aspect from its open world design to core gameplay, riddled with, as previously mentioned, bugs and specifically game-breaking bugs, absent of any sort of coherent plot and starring an insufferable cast of characters, as cited by a channel on YouTube.

The trophy which requires you to prank a co-op partner might not require a subscription to PlayStation Plus if local multiplayer is a feature within the game. Unfortunately, I can't confirm anything about it without having played it myself. If you don't mind me asking the question, out of curiosity, why don't you want to renew your subscription for PlayStation Plus?

I find it to be an absolute waste of money. Of all the free monthly games since last November only one of them interested me: Saints & Sinners for VR. The rest was complete dog shit that goes on sale constantly anyway. The "exclusive sales" are a complete joke that I hope no one's fooled by. Those same "exclusive" sales I see all the time at the same exact reduced price for non Plus members. "Exclusive" though, right?

I don't play online. Ever. I think it's fucked up to begin with that you even have to pay to play online. Steam doesn't make you do that shit. The PS3 days never required it. I think it's no coincidence why sooo many games nowadays are targeted more towards online play (to push Plus membership sales).

It also doesn't help how picky I am.
