USA Tribute Pack - Impossible Time Trial ?

25 posts in this topic

Hey riders,

I started the most recent DLC pack (USA Tribute), and i'm pretty sure that they messed up with the time needed to get gold in Imola with the XR 1200 X. I managed to do 1:56:884 but it still is very far from the 1:53:000 that is required.

Do we know if it is a mistake by the devs or something like that because it seems way to hard to be true. 😅

Last but no least, are the devs aware that their challenge is completely impossible ?

I went on the forums a few days ago and it was the most recent post there. Some users were saying that Ride 3 had this same issue and the devs fixed it. So fingers crossed.

I messaged milestone about it. They said that it’s a know issue and it will be fixed in the next patch

So the latest DLC pack with trophies is out and that glitched time trial still hasn't been patched.

Just noticed the same thing. I sent them another ticket as they told me it would be fixed in this patch when I messaged them a few weeks ago. I’ll let you guys know what they say.

At least we have another completely pointless grind to do on a new dlc bike while we wait though.

Yep just noticed that... too bad they did not patch it.

By the way, it seems that DLCs are getting harder (or at least this one), the Okayama time trial with the 2003 Honda CB 1300 is pretty tough. The 1:30:300 is quite challenging.

Edit : what is wrong with this game ? I finished the 2 set of races of the Naked Pack, trophies popped like it should, but in the stats, that last DLC is still at 0%... I'm confused... 😰

I think the new trophies are not on the Sony server yet. If you look in offline mode they should be there. They should sync up in a few days I guess.

I’m not sure if that time on that bike is possible!

I did the required time twice, 1:30:223 and 1:30:191 on practice, i did a video if it can help someone. Clearly no room for any mistake...

Oh ok i didn't know about the fact that the trophies were not on Sony servers yet. Thanks for the info !

Nice. What bike settings did you use?

A new patch came down this morning that fixes the born in the USA trophy. They didn’t change the track - just adjusted the requirement for gold. It’s quite easy now

Did they lower the speed of the bike itself? When the time was glitched I got a 1:58.787 and now I'm under the new time which is 2:01.500.

Edit: Finally got it.  Maybe it was because I'm rusty lol

Not sure. I was slower on my original lap too but then I realised I hadn’t loaded my bike setup and still had it set for mileage grinding!

Glad you got it. If they could just allow us to sync the PS4 trophies properly we could finally have both stacks back at 100%

That Okayama time trial is impossible for me. The best I can get is a 1:31.430 and that is as good a lap as possible. I just don't see where I can shave off a whole second...

So I finally did it. My first successful time under 1:31 and I got the gold. Hardest time trial by far. I set my physics to advanced and it seemed to help the bike move around corners a lot more. My set up is in the description of the video. Good luck to anyone else attempting it.

Anyone got any advice on achieving gold medal on this event?

Any settings that helped?

Does realistic physics help with speed or is it just harder to control?

Thanks

Realistic is better when you are used to it.

Tc:0 / Eb:0 / Aw:1

soft tires and disable supported brakes.

gear ratio.1=3  2=4  3=5  4=6  5=1

final transmission=0

If i remember correctly.

The newest patch just made this one easy. They changed the time for gold to 1:32.100

that can only be a joke.

6 hours the event repeated on ps5 to finally make it and then the time is simplified?

should have waited.

Thanks for the gear set up.

I was struggling for half an hour then i applied your gear set up and immediately beat it :)

Imo gear set up is much more important then suspension setup.

I hope there is no hard time trial like those for another dlc trophy.

Nurburgring gp, interlagos and this one are the hardest time trials so far.

Some time trials are very easy some are so hard like this one.

Why is it like that, any problem on developing maybe!?

this one (usa tribute) was by far the hardest time trial when the dlc came out,but was changed with an update.needed around 5-6h to complete
