Popular Post celobrock
While going for Rage's platinum, I've found lots of conflicting info, wrong information and stuff like that. I'll compile here some tips & tricks I've found. Feel free to add it to a guide or share it anywhere else. 1. You can still get back to Wellsprings/Wasteland even after the last mission. To do so, you'll need to get to the elevator on Subway Town's garage and talk to the guy next to the blimp. This way it will make it easier for you if you're still missing the trophies that envolve killing # enemies with sentry bots, turrets, and RC Cars. Just go to Mutant Bash and deploy your advanced equipment. 2. For the Gotta Have 'Em All trophy (for which you have to collect all the cards), since the game's last update, the cards aren't missable anymore. You can buy them in the stores. 3. For getting $750 in Mutant Bash, there's a very simple way which envolves shooting a green cardboard fish. You can see this trick here. 4. There's a simple glitch for infinite money if you have the Scorchers' DLC. After liberating Jackpots, talk to the small lady to play Roly-Poly. What you have to do is follow these steps. As it's said in the video's description: Spoiler Step by step process: 1) Head to Jackpots in Wellspring. 2) Place a bet on any number in Roly-Poly. 3) After you lose your money to the creepy midget, make a note of which number the ball landed on. Be sure to hit 'Play Again' and clear your bets. 4) Quicksave the game and quickload. F5 and F9 for those who don't know the keybinds. Regular loading and saving also works. Just be sure to do one of these. 5) After the game loads back up, place your bet on the number that won that previous round. 6) Collect your hard earned profit. Rinse and repeat as many times as you want. This is much faster than the board game in terms of gain, as well as giving you access to huge amounts of cash early on. You can max out in about 5 minutes. Though I didn't test it yet, someone on YouTube said: Quote (...) the easiest thing to do is to go to the subway town and go to stewy and wait for him to have the authority standard mg bullets and buy them for twenty one dollars, and selling to jani in bulk. you'll turn a hundred twenty dollar profit. takes 30 seconds and you can do it back to back. 5. For the Hardest Deck trophy, though it's not hard, I suggest you to work on it after you have all but one cards. This way you can use this deck: Giant Mutant, Large Mutant, Slime Mutant, Kraken, Drop Ship, Enforcer, Shield Guard, Shrouded Minigun, Gearhead Jet, Captain Marshall, and Valder. And remember, you have to be playing against Teague in Subway Town. 6. Oh, the Just a Flesh Wound trophy... At some point in the game, you'll be able to play 5 Finger Filet at the bar in Wellsprings. For the first 4 rounds, you need to practice. But for the fifth one, it will follow a random pattern. My suggestion is to do this trick. I've failed twice even with that, but got the trophy right after that. 8. For the Roadkill trophy, on your way to the Authority Bridge, you'll find some mutants on the road. You can go, kill them, get back to Subway Town and repeat the process until you kill ten of them. 9. Point of No-Return. If you clear the Authority Bridge, you won't be able to complete all the races in Subway Town. For the Obsessive Compulsive trophy, before going for the final mission, in your Statistics page in the Select Menu you should have "126/130". More if you have the Sewers DLC. So the missing items would be: 127/130 - One Card 128/130 - One Jump 129/130 - Another Jump 130/130 - Finish the Story 10. Road RAGE (online multiplayer): You can organize boosting sessions pretty easily, but high ping can disconnect you just as easily. Being from Brazil, I've been having a hard time getting these trophies, as I can't keep in a Road RAGE match time enough to win. I suggest you to look for regional platinum hunter groups in Facebook, Discord, etc. if you're having trouble with that. I'm still working on the plat. If there's anything else that I find along the Ultra Nightmare difficulty, I'll update this post.
honeybone
All good tips I'm down to the last 5 trophies myself (Flesh Wound, Fresh Meat, MVP, No Room For Sidekicks, and Anthology) now that I just 100% on Rage 2 I want to finish up here. The only thing that I'll add is if you are like me and you are doing the Ultra Nightmare trophy from the jump here are my tips Play Scorchers DLC mission Rumbles in the Dark to get the nailgun because the railgun slug gives you the focus style ability from Rage 2 to see where enemies are through the walls which is a life saver for a sniper playstyle Play Scorchers DLC mission Scorched Refinement to unlock Jackpots so you can play video poker and stack cash for your UN playthrough Skip all other scorchers DLC until after you've beaten the game as the payoffs are not worth the increase in difficulty The time trials in the races are absolute crap in ultra nightmare so just keep a manual save from before Assault on the Authority Bridge Beat the game on Ultra Nightmare to unlock all the stacked difficulty trophies Reload pre-Assault on Authority bridge save and complete time trials on Easy difficulty + any missing races/missions etc Replay assault on authority bridge and make sure to collect the card + 2x jumps. You should get obsessive compulsive as soon as you complete the jump because your profile will have already kept the obsessive compulsive point for completing the story so that will push you up to 130 you don't actually have to beat the game a 2nd time unless that's your jam Beat the remaining Scorchers missions on Easy
FreshFromThaDeli
Thank for the greats tips to you both. Couldn't have come at a better time. I just finished my Ultra nightmare play through last night so I have some questions. I got all the collectibles and popped their respective trophies but still need Obsessive Compulsive. Seeing as how I can go back to Wellspring, shall I just continue the save I have just before the bridge mission and do all the races in Wellspring? Is that even possible or are those races locked out now seeing as I've already progressed to Subway Town? Shall I replay the game before the point I travel to Subway Town and then do all the races, minigames collect every remaining collectible again? Edit: Managed to do everything on the save file before accepting the last mission. Was at 127/130 and just needed the 2 jumps and 1 collectible card for Obsessive Compulsive to pop as I already completed the campaign on the main global save file. honeybone
You can still do all the Wellspring content as long as you have not started the Assault on the Authority Bridge mission. I did the sniping job board missions and all the races on easy once I reloaded my save from before that mission. You should have the OC number at 127 before finally starting that mission and then you will bump up to 130 after you get the card on the bridge and do the 2 jumps past the bridge. I followed this checklist religiously and the timing/points all added up for me exactly as it states. https://rage.fandom.com/wiki/Obsessive_Compulsive Edited July 9, 2021 by honeybone
