Not sure if I have been screwed over here. I got the delivery and set the TV up, but on the box it says HX92 - 55

EDIT

I might be being dumb again, but after looking online, the HX92 indicates the screen size model. But what I can't find is the HMDI 2.1 ports. Its says I have 2 x HMDI and 2 x HDMI 2.1 but all I have on the TV is HDMI Aux  and then 3 x HDMI ports. Would the 2.1 just be the same ports or something?

I have reached the age where anything that requires a plug no longer makes sense to me.

When setting it up I was blown away by that tunnel effect, first time I have ever seen 4K before. Tried Persona 5 Royal. Looks decent a lot darker than my previous standard HD 1080 TV. Tried some of the 4K movie trailers and Youtube 4K vids and that where it seems to shine.

It should have 4 HDMI ports, 3 and 4 are 2.1 but you may need to get a software update first. HDMI 3 is also HDMI ARC. So for HDMI 3 and 4, you want to go to settings, watching, tv, input, and make sure they are on enhanced. If it does not say 120mhz you need a firmware update, if you get a 116 error with wifi use a thumbdrive and download from https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/televisions-projectors-lcd-tvs-android-/xbr-55x900h/downloads

According to this link the HX92 is a variant of the same tv, I think Mine Said Bravia 9000h for Australia.

Edit: My box also said XH92

Cheers man. I will check the settings. Does that have any effect on my current HDMI or is it only going to be of benefit when they release the 2.1 update?

Also. Because I am new to this sort of thing, when switching the TV on for the first time I just selected 'Game' as my picture mode type thing. Is that the best setting or have your tweaked yours? It does seem pretty dark when playing certain sections of Persona 5 Royal. Very nice, but a touch too dark.

The 2.1 update has been out for quite a while now, I'd say most new TV's would already have this.

This guy is all over it
