Popular Post irusjayd
I just bought The Saboteur and i am genuinely excited to play it. I feel the PS3 generation had quite a few gems that kinda faded away. Personally I loved Wet and folklore but i know that i will never get a sequel or HD remaster. What are some forgotten or under appreciated games i should look into getting? I'm thinking maybe prototype 2 (although i think it was on PS now recently)
Popular Post Maahniac
Afrika. The game got pretty bad reviews, and it's next to impossible to find now, but I loved it so much. It's really just driving around African nature and finding, and photographing, animals, but I had a great time ? I never understood the bad reviews, but the driving was indeed a bit clunky.

Popular Post AJ_Radio
I ended up enjoying Spec Ops: The Line, a game that many people nowadays have forgotten. Platinum is a bit difficult, FUBAR is not for the faint hearted, but it's an option if you're interested. Worth a play definitely. It was hard to hear Nolan North's voice and not be playing as Nathan Drake at the time though lol As for the question from the OP, I think a lot of people who experienced it enjoyed Puppeteer. Certainly a unique experience. Rain is quite interesting too. Edited June 10, 2021 by The_Kopite Updated information
Popular Post cosmicanomaly
Shadows of the Damned for starters, Binary Domain was underrated, although the multiplayer was a slog to get through, except for Invasion mode, which I had a lot of fun with assuming you can find 3 others to play it with.
AJ_Radio
Good suggestions, but some of these games on Amazon and eBay are fucking expensive due to their rarity. Any way to obtain them without paying an arm and a leg?

the_real_culture
I would throw Splatterhouse in the mix, tasteless but 'laugh out loud' fun. I heard Blades of Time is pretty good. Killer is Dead is another cool title and Dante's Inferno. Mercari is also another place you can buy games.
Popular Post FreshFromThaDeli
I'm cheating with this one but I can't help myself. I always recommend Valkyria Chronicles when it comes to hidden gems. Amazing watercolour art style set in an alternate version of WW2 in a fictional continent similar to Europe. A tactical RPG that deserves more exposure and the best part is that it is remastered on PS4 with enhanced graphics, all dlc on disc and trophy support.
Glorious Fury
If you like warriors games, one of my personal favorites of the generation is Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3. Still my favorite warriors game to date.

Yes, I believe that is the case - it's not for anything hugely gameplay affecting though, so still worth a play if your looking for some 60's inspired super-spy sleuthing!
OBSTINATIO
My first recommendation for this question is always Bionic Commando https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/89-bionic-commando . I love this game, especially the brilliant gameplay and the unique setting but also the rest of the game aged really well: solid frame rate (never below 30), graphic style which still looks a lot better than most games of the time and you get the game for like 5€. The story is quite bald but who really cares if a game plays that well?!

JourneySilvers
My go to is Lollipop Chainsaw, but a lot of people have already vouched for it, so I'll say Katamari.
da-Noob123
I never got around to it but loved the demo and have always heard good things about it: Folklore. Think this was pre-trophy update. I would look for it myself but my PS3's disc player died. ?
