I just bought The Saboteur and i am genuinely excited to play it. I feel the PS3 generation had quite a few gems that kinda faded away. Personally I loved Wet and folklore but i know that i will never get a sequel or HD remaster.

What are some forgotten or under appreciated games i should look into getting? I'm thinking maybe prototype 2 (although i think it was on PS now recently)

This was my first plat I believe. Fantastic, can not recommend it enough.

Singularity

Syndicate

The Darkness II

RPG / Action:

3D Dot Game Heroes

Also - agree on The Saboteur - great game - such a pity it was Pandemic's swansong!

Some good games but there is an online trophy in Counterspy that I believe is unobtainable now.

Yes, I believe that is the case - it's not for anything hugely gameplay affecting though, so still worth a play if your looking for some 60's inspired super-spy sleuthing!

My first recommendation for this question is always Bionic Commando https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/89-bionic-commando . I love this game, especially the brilliant gameplay and the unique setting but also the rest of the game aged really well: solid frame rate (never below 30), graphic style which still looks a lot better than most games of the time and you get the game for like 5€. The story is quite bald but who really cares if a game plays that well?!
