Popular Post Deceptrox
I had a hard time trying to figure out how to get gold in some stages, that's why I want to share what I learned with other players aiming to get the trophy "Devilish Deviant". This writing extended way more that I intended, sorry for that. I hope you find this helpful. Little Deviants – Gold Spaceship Tips 1. Grazy Meadows Rolling Pastures: Completing a stage awards you 1000 points. To get gold, try to collect every star in each stage so you can get 1000 bonus points. You can use EMPs to freeze botz and to stop the electrical barriers however I suggest you save them when you get surrounded or you are low on health. EMPs will only spawn in a stage only if you didn't have one when the stage started. Pick hearts whenever possible. You should have enough points before you complete the final stage. Botz Invasion: Getting the gold spaceship in this level means you need to have a good accuracy bonus in all 8 stages. Try to have 100% accuracy if possible, take your time (but not too much time) to shoot enemies. The botz flying on ships require 3 shots to be destroyed while the abductors botz require 4. Always use powerups, the EMP one freezes all enemies while the missile one fires a missile at one enemy you chose. You can only have one powerup at a time so be careful not to shoot a powerup you don't want or you will lose the one you have equipped. Try shooting all stars in a stage as soon as the stage begins or as soon as you see them, they will dissapear if you wait too much time. There will only be 2 or 3 stars per stage (except stage 1 where only 1 will spawn). Hitting all stars in 4 or 5 of the 8 stages will suffice to get gold if you managed to get a good accuracy bonus in all stages (try to get 100% on at least 3, 4, or 5 stages). The first stage always has only one star and spawns a missile powerup, you must get 100% accuracy here. Upon starting stage 2, fire the missile as soon as it locks onto an enemy, then shoot the other enemies (and stars as soon as you see them) trying not to miss your shots (use your Vita's motion sensor accordingly to avoid missing). An EMP powerup will most likely spawn, shoot it and use it. Now that all botz are all frozen in their place, shoot any remaining star then quickly dispatch the botz on ships first (count your shots so you'll know you have to switch to another enemy without needing to see enemies getting destroyed which saves you time). Shoot and fire any missile that might spawn and save an EMP for the next stage. As soon as the next stage begins, use your EMP, shoot all stars and as many botz as possible without missing, fire all missiles that spawn and if possible save an EMP for next stage. Rinse and repeat. If you don't have an EMP for the next stage but a missile instead, fire missile and keep shooting the botz without missing, one EMP will most likely spawn, use it. Hopefully another EMP will spawn before you complete the stage. If you lose a deviant, it's OK, a deviant pickup might spawn in that stage or in the next one, just shoot it and you'll get a deviant back. Shoot all deviants pickups that spawn. Don't forget to destroy abductor botz that have captured a deviant before they escape but try as much as possible not to miss your shots. If you don't have an EMP to use and the abductor is too far to get an accurate shot, just let it go (try to prevent this though, it should not happen more than once or twice), it's better to keep your accuracy high. If you managed to get 100% accuracy and star bonuses on at least half the stages, you should get gold after you destroy the last botz in the final stage as long as there is at least one deviant alive. Shack Shover: The key for getting gold is to be quick, picking all clocks and all stars, the latter during bonus stages. There is no penalty for hitting botz on the wrong side. On the other hand, hitting a whoman or another deviant will make you lose 5 seconds. Just hit all botz, all clocks and stars ASAP while avoiding NPCs and you'll have enough points when time runs out. Cloud Rush: To get gold in this level you need to get through all rings in each level to keep your combo. Be warned you need to get through red rings at a faster speed or you will lose your combo as well. You can achieve that by boosting when you are getting close to a red ring. There are stages that have red rings very close to each other so you need to time your boosts to keep your combo. Move your Vita accordingly when there are purple rings since you can only get through them at a small gap, you can slow down with L button if necessary. Also, pick all stars during bonus stages. You should have gold before you complete the last stage. Hot Air Hero: To achieve gold you need to hit all bird botz ASAP or they will open holes in the balloon. Keep a finger on the back of your Vita to fill the balloon when necessary. During bonus stages, you must collect all stars avoiding mines. You can move up and down during these stages so that you can collect all stars. When your screen gets frozen, rub it ASAP so that it won't bother you when the bird botz attack. If you did everything right, you should have gold just before completing the level. 2. Twisty Root Grove Rotten Rumble: The trick here is trying to get all stars and specially to get long combos; you can achieve the latter by aiming your deviant diagonally so that he will bounce several times clearing as many enemies as he can before returning. Adjust the angle accordingly depending on the positions of the dead 'uns. You must watch out for spitters or you will get trapped in the goo they spill on the floor. As soon as enemies fall into the ring, released your deviant, he must be ready in a diagonal angle, if you are lucky the spitters should be gone before they can spill any goo. A maximum of two spitters will appear at the same time. Be extra careful with chainsaw wielding dead 'uns, they can deplete your health really quick if you get too close to them. To make them vulnerable you must shoot your deviants close to them but without entering their attack range so that they will do a spin attack that will leave them vulnerable for a few seconds after they finish their attack. Only attack them when they are vulnerable. You will need to hit them thrice in their vulnerable state to defeat them. You must collect all stars in almost all stages (in all stages if possible). You will probably collect all stars just by aiming and releasing the deviant diagonally in most levels. Be careful though, because if you defeat all undead 'uns in a single throw and you miss a star, you won't get the all stars bonus. Take into account that you can still collect any star after defeating all dead 'uns if that star is in your way when you are still bouncing. If there are still stars left in the stage and one or two enemies, aim diagonally at the star and hopefully you'll get both enemies in one throw. Also remember to pick all stars before defeating chainsaw wielding foes, get rid of other enemies in the stage first and then focus on the stars. Remember to trick the chainsaw maniac to make him vulnerable and try to take down other enemies in the same throw. In the last stages there will be both, spitters and chainsaw dead 'uns (the latter will drop a second or two after the other enemies) so get rid of the spatter as soon as they drop. If you get trapped in goo, try to get free as fast as possible, you'll most likely defeat a few enemies after you get free. Remember to pick hearts to restore your health when those spawn. Death Speeder: In this level you need to collect as much stars as possible avoiding obstacles and mines while escaping from a whale-like bot until you reach the finish line. If you hit an obstacle, boost to increase the distance between you and the whale bot again, especially if it is getting too close to you. You can also boost when there is a clear path to increase your distance further. Also boost when there are groups of stars so that you can save time. Slow down when necessary and boost when necessary, use your Vita's motion sensor accordingly. You will get better as much as you practice. If you managed to collect as many stars as possible, you'll get gold just before crossing the finish line. Corridor Calamity: You must prioritize completing each stage as fast as possible trying to keep you remaining time over 50 seconds to get a big time bonus. Pick stars stars only if they are in your way, however it's necessary to pick all stars in 3 - 5 stages to get all stars bonus and get the required score. Usually the first levels have the stars very close to each other and to the clocks, if a star is too far, just leave it or you'll waste time. Remember that once you pick the last clock of a stage all uncollected stars will disappear. Use fire powerups when there are chainsaw dead 'uns in your way and to free corridors of them when you see you can take out 2 or more with fire. The powerups will spawn only when you don't have one equipped, most likely in the following stage. You can save the fire powerups if you can take another route and still collect all clocks and/or stars without wasting too much time and still completing the level with 50 or more seconds. Use the fire powerup wisely and when necessary. Rolling Horror: This level is similar to Rolling Pastures. Again, to achieve gold in this mini-game you must collect all stars in all stages. There is no timer, so take your time to collect each star. Avoid getting too close to dead 'uns, especially the chainsaw-wielding ones. Use heart pickups to restore your health when necessary. You should get the required score after completing the level. Smashing Tune: This one is tricky to do by yourself. Most people used a virtual keyboard organ or any other app to get the gold spaceship on this level. If you want to do it by yourself (singing, whispering, etc) I can only advice you to find a sound that works for you for each of the 3 pitches in the level. I used the silence sound (shhhh) for the middle curve, a car engine-like sound (rrrrrrr) for the bottom one, and an "I" sound (not /ay/ but more like /iy/ without stress) for the upper curve. You will need to adjust your pitch and practice a bit until you get everything right. In my case the middle sound worked 97-98% of the times, when it didn't I was doing it a bit too strong and it went to the bottom. The bottom sound worked 99 - 100% of the times (I don't remember if it was 100% that's why I say 99 - 100% just in case), when it didn't it probably went to the middle curve. Once you find your sound or if you use a virtual keyboard organ, you need to make the right sound so that it will destroy the bottles travelling through the different curves. You will lose health if a bottle hits the deviant. Avoid destroying stars and heart pickups. If you managed to get all stars in all stages, you will get gold when you complete the final stage. 3. Chillrock Gorge Corridor Caper: You complete a stage once you pick all clocks in it, if you miss a star it will disappear when you pick the last clock of the stage. You must prioritize picking all clocks ASAP so that you can get a good time bonus, try having 50 or more seconds remaining per stage. Only pick stars if they are on your way, don't bother if there is a star very far away (you should be able to pick all stars and get the stars bonus in the first 3 - 5 levels). Use EMPs whenever you get botz in your way or when you are getting surrounded and you want to escape, however be careful when you use them or the botz may block your path making you take another route and waste time. Completing the final stage won't give you any time bonus so be sure to have the required score or more before you pick the last clock in this stage. Risky Trails: You will only get gold if you collect all stars in all 5 stages. Only collect clocks if they are in your way, otherwise don't bother. Stages 1 and 3 are the easiest; you should collect all stars with about 6 - 10 seconds left if possible. Stages 2 and 4 are annoying because all stars are on a mountain's ledges in a zigzag pattern. Be careful when using the Vita's motion sensors when dropping to ledges or you might drop too far and miss several stars. Try dropping from the far side of a ledge to the next ledge since the height there is shorter, but be warned that on stage 4 you will have to drop to a ledge before reaching the far side of the ledge you are standing on to collect a star that it's in the air. Avoid falling to the abyss at all costs or you'll respawn at the start of the level and since there are no clocks in these stages you will have to restart the level. The final stage is a bit tricky since you will have to guide your deviant around tight circular paths with no walls to reach all stars. Just be careful and avoid falling to the abyss, especially on the first sections. It's OK if you fall after you collect the last star since you will respawn in a checkpoint that has a straight path to the finish line, just avoid falling a lot. Depth Charge: There are 8 stages in this mini-game, to get a score worth a gold spaceship you must focus on collecting all stars in almost all stages (all if possible) while trying to complete each as fast as possible to get a high time bonus. Avoid hitting obstacle and wind vortices or you will lose precious time. You should get the required score just before completing the level. Chalet Shover: Just like in Shack Shover, you need to hit the enemies on their back, depending where they are facing, you'll need to do that by tapping the enemy on the touchscreen or the rear touch pad. Unlike Shack Shover, there is a new enemy type, a bigger botz. This enemy type must be your priority because they will shake the floor making any whoman or deviant fall off the building thus making you lose 5 seconds for each NPC that falls. Fortunately, since the bigger botz will always face you and never backwards, you can get rid of them by hitting the touchscreen. There won't be more than 2 or 3 at the same time. Simply, hit all enemies ASAP (the bigger botz as soon as they spawn) avoiding hitting NPCs, picking all clocks and all stars, and you will achieve gold. Botz Blast: Similar to Botz Invasion, however this time there are more enemies and 15 stages. Stages 5, 10, and 15 are boss stages and here you need to beat a whale-like bot by destroying one of its red power-nodes, one node per stage will suffice. Shoot any deviant pickup that might spawn when you defeat the whale bot. If you get a missile powerup or a cluster missile powerup (fires 3 missiles at 3 enemies at a time), use it, it will destroy a node in one hit. Getting 100% accuracy in all levels is not mandatory this time but you should try to get over 85 - 90% (100% if possible) in every stage. There is a new enemy type (aside from the whale bot), a squid-like botz. They don't attack but they are very annoying since they release green goo that covers the screen blocking your view. If green goo covers your screen, just rub it quickly to get rid of it. This botz type shows in about half the stages (first in stage 3). They always appear in big numbers (4 - 6) on stages 4, 9, and 14, fortunately in these stages there aren't other botz types. They are very fast, so if you have an EMP you must use it as soon as the stage begins so that you can destroy them ASAP. Like in Botz Invasion, use EMP to freeze all botz where they are, quickly destroy the squids first and shoot the 2 or 3 stars in the level, then proceed to destroy as many botz ok ships as possible before the EMP effect runs out. Use any missile or cluster missile that spawns to finish of the remaining botz, or use another spawned EMP if there are still too many botz. If possible try to save an EMP for the next stage, if there aren't EMPs, save a cluster missile over a regular one. If you are in a stage preceding a boss stage, always save a regular or a cluster missile so that you can get rid of the whale bot asap. If you got an EMP instead, wait for the whale bot to get as close as possible, then use the EMP and focus on a single power-node, with some luck you'll be able to destroy it before the EMP runs out. If you weren't able to destroy a node, try destroying the one you were focusing before the whale turns to escape. If the whale manages to turn and the node you were attacking is out of reach, quickly focus on another node and shoot it like mad until you destroy it, otherwise the whale bot will escape with all the deviants and you will get a game over screen. I don't remember if powerups spawn during boss stages, I think not, but in case they do, use them before the whale bot escapes. The gold spaceship will be yours if you manage to destroy all botz in every stage while keeping your accuracy over 85-90% (100% most likely in at least 6 stages: squids-only stages, boss stages, and any other stage) and collecting all stars in as many stages as possible (I think I got star bonus in 4 or 5 stages). Hitting a node or any botz with any missile will give you 100% accuracy. 4. Surfcrest Bay Bouncer Trouncer: This mini-game requires you to bounce between platforms using your Vita's motion sensors. At first, this might look impossible but practice makes perfection (or close to that). To be awarded gold you need to try to collect all stars in as many stages as possible. It's mandatory that you collect all stars in the first two stages to get the respective bonus while trying to collect as many stars as possible in the last three stages. Since there are life pickups around the stages (from stage 2 onwards), you are allowed to die as long as you pick as many lives as you can. If you die, you will respawn at the last checkpoint and you can retry collecting a missed star, just don't die too much since having 4 or more lives makes your life a bit easier on the last two stages. Avoid bouncing on conveyor belt platforms unless you have no choice; if this happens quickly readjust your position with the motion sensors so that you can safely land on a platform. Don't forget using the touchscreen to hit botz in your way, each botz destroyed gives you 250 points, so destroy them all. Aqua Speeder: This mini-game is similar to Death Speeder; however this time it takes place underwater. New threats come in the form of shark-like enemies and 3 pairs of huge squid/octopus tentacles through three sections of the level. As you were required in Death Speeder, to earn a gold spaceship you need to collect as many stars as you can while avoiding all threats as much as possible, therefore boost frequently through groups of stars and collect as much as you can. Use your Vita's motion sensor as best as you can to achieve this. Use your boost whenever you hit an obstacle or enemy, and also to increase the distance between you and the whale bot when you can. Always boost through the sections of the level where the 3 pairs of tentacles are. Beware of shark enemies since they swim in circles and may hit you if you are not careful. You should have enough points for gold before crossing the finish line. Rolling Shores: Like in previous similar mini-games, you must collect all stars in all stages in order to achieve a gold score. An addition here are mysterious boxes containing 4 stars each. Regarding enemies, botz are back and this time there is a new type of botz, an stalking botz that only activates when you get close to it, and deactivates if you get far enough. Avoid leaving these new enemies on chokepoints or you'll have a hard time, this specially applies for the very last stages. The flying botz is also annoying since it follows you around the stage, that's why you should complete levels ASAP. Also, this time around you need to collect 3 keys instead of 1 to open the portal to the next stage, some of these can only be collected by using jump pads. Aside from the last two stages and another stage that has all 3 keys behind electrified barriers, you should have too much trouble getting gold here. Just remember to use EMPs when necessary, to pick hearts when your health bar isn't full, and also avoid getting too close to a portal if you haven't collected all stars in a level. In the final stage there are 2 stars on a tight corridor behind the jump pad that sends you to the exit portal, and to make things worse there is a stalking botz nearby. Take your time picking those stars to avoid getting a lower score. Risky Rambler: Just like in Risky Trails, you will get a score worth a gold spaceship if you collect all stars in all 5 stages (it's a must to earn the all stars bonus in every stage). Try to collect as many clocks as possible as long as they are in your way. On stage 2 you must use the Vita's motion sensors with precision since it's very easy to miss most stars in a circular pattern around the crater that has the portal that takes you to the next stage in its center. If you missed a single star, restart the level. On stage 3, enter the secret chamber and pick the star inside and as many clocks as you can before going through the exit. On stage 5, go through the secret chamber again and collect as many clocks as possible before heading out. Depth Dive: This level is similar to Depth Charge but it only has 5 stages. Same as Depth Charge, to earn gold you need to collect all stars in almost all stages (in all stages if possible) while completing them as fast as you can. It's important to avoid hitting obstacles and wind vortices and to use water streams in your favor when you can take advantage of them. 5. Metroburg Depth Avenger: Since there are only five stages it's important to get all stars in the first three stages and almost all in the last two stages. On stage 4 and the final stage, if you miss a star it's better to continue going to the exit than heading back to pick the missed star since it will take precious time and you might not make it. Stage 2 needs to be completed flawlessly picking all stars or you won't make it in time to the exit, this means you need to pick all stars while keeping going forward while avoiding wind vortices and other obstacles. To achieve this, move your Vita accordingly to keep your pace, if you miss a star it's better to restart the mini-game. Stage 3 is short so you shouldn't have trouble picking all stars without losing your pace; try to complete it flawlessly ASAP too. You have 4 tries (lives), if you die in a stage you will respawn back at the start of the stage with one less life. It's better not to lose lives on the first three stages so you can use them in the last two if you missed to pick too many stars. Avoid wind vortices at all costs, especially in the last two stages. Use water streams in your favor, especially when they send you in the same direction where there are stars, and when they send you in the same direction you need to go to get to the exit since you will move at a faster speed. If you picked all stars in the first three stages and almost all in the last two stages while completing them as quickly as possible, you will get gold when you complete the final stage. Tower of Boing: You need to collect almost all stars and all bird pickups in all stages of this mini-game to get gold; I missed one of each but still got the gold spaceship. Avoid collecting all wrenches until you have pick all stars and bird pickups of a stage. It's ok if you die once or twice to prevent you from picking the last wrench of a stage before collecting all stars, but try not to die more than twice or at all if possible. On the last stage (the top of the building) break all ice blocks to get 150 points per shattered block (probably breaking ice blocks on other stages that has them is worth 150 points per block too). Street Speeder: You need 105k points to earn a gold spaceship in this level. The key to get gold here is picking as many stars as possible and boosting not only when you hit an obstacle but also to increase the distance between you and the whale botz whenever possible. Remember to boost through straight rows of stars and also on other groups of starts you feel comfortable boosting through. You must boost through the last part of the level since there are only straight rows of stars. Use the Vita's motion sensor accordingly as soon as the level begins avoiding obstacles (botz, mines, walls, buses, cars, etc.) as much as possible; use your boost powerups when you hit them. You should have the required score a few seconds before crossing the finish line. Risky Inclination: You can achieve gold in this level by collecting all stars in at least 4 of the 5 stages but try to collect them all. I only missed a couple of stars (in stage 4) but I still got the required score just before completing the last stage. Like in similar levels, focus on picking all stars and all clocks in your way, don't bother if there are clocks away from your route. However, there are two arrow-shaped groups of clocks just a bit outside the route on stage 1; you must collect them to get a nice time bonus. Be careful when using the motion sensor on stages 2 and 4, most of the stars are on vertical paths on the side of buildings. City Shover: This time there are more windows where the botz and NPCs can spawn. Because of the increase in width, what I did was placing the Vita between my legs while I was sitting on the side of my bed so I could use my left hand fingers on the rear of my Vita while using my right hand fingers on the touchscreen, this kept my Vita stable. While I had trouble hitting the regular botz facing you that were on the sides of the screen due to my left hand barely having enough space to move, I was able to use my right hand to hit the bigger botz so quickly that they weren't able to shake any NPC (whoman and other deviants) off and also pick clocks as soon as they spawned. In the end it wasn't that bad since the regular botz remained on the screen enough time to hit them after I cleared the place of bigger botz and regular botz facing backwards. Placing my Vita that way also helped me to hit all stars in time during bonus stages and all 12 number-botz in sequence quickly and without failing. Like in similar levels, hit all botz (number botz must be hit in sequence) quickly, especially the bigger botz, also pick all stars avoiding hitting whoman and deviants. The final stage doesn't have a fixed number of botz, it lasts until you run out of time, you must take advantage of this to hit as many botz as possible so you can get enough points to get gold. 6. Blackrust Refinery Corridor Complications: Since there are pickups that let you freeze the botz so that you can smash them, you must pick all stars in all stages to get 1000 bonus points. There are fifteen stages, on the first bunch of stages you should have 50 or more seconds remaining when you complete a stage to get a big time bonus. After that, try completing the following stages with at least 40 seconds, and for the last bunch of stages try to keep the time over 30 or 20 seconds so that you'll have enough time to complete the last two stages. I got the required score (93k) at beginning of the final stage, and I completed the level with over 102k points. Manic Melter The required score for gold is 24,500 points, and the only way to achieve this is a flawless run in all 8 stages. If you do everything right, you'll get 25k. What you need to do is melt all botz getting a full boil bonus (1000 points) in all stages, and collecting all stars during the two bonus stages (stages 3 and 6) so you'll get the all star bonus (1000 points). You might have trouble turning the platform correctly and in time to collect all stars at first, but you'll get better after each attempt. The stars will always fall in a counter clockwise sequence and in the same pattern: close to each other in the first bonus stage, and leaving two spaces on the second one. Regarding the melting of the botz, since you don't have a time limit, you can take your time to clear the screen of attacking enemies before you start melting the botz trapped in the platform. The more annoying enemies are the ones that come from above so you must take care of them first. There are two enemy types that come from above: the abductor-like botz that spill water on you (water reduces your health), and the hammer botz that land on the platform and attempt to destroy the baskets where the trapped botz are (they will only destroy one basket at time before they self-destruct). There is also another type of enemy that hides inside the big barrels in the background; these enemies will spill water in the baskets containing the trapped botz in the platform. A maximum of two of these enemies will show at a time. You won't have trouble melting the trapped botz quickly and getting a full boil bonus in the first three stages (1, 2, and 4). From stage 4 onwards, take your time to destroy all the attacking enemies before you start melting focusing on the flying enemies first. Wait some seconds to check if more flying enemies come (they will come at least 3 times in the last two stages - I counted 3 times) If no more flying botz come, get rid of the enemies hiding in the big barrels when they show and only start melting after they are gone. These barrel-dwelling botz will try to bother you again, quickly get rid of them and resume melting. If you are quick enough (which you must be), you should be done melting just before they can bother you one more time. You must get full boil bonus on all stages, otherwise restart the level. You don't need to keep rubbing the rear touch pad until the baskets are completely filled, you can go to the next basket once you see the current basket is about to be filled. This will take a bit of practice so that you can be sure the baskets are going to be completely filled without you rubbing the rear touch pad, thus allowing you to focus on the next basket and saving you time. Cannon Codes: The goal of this mini-game is to launch the deviant at the numbers that are floating in the upper side of each stage while collecting the stars around them. After you collect all numbers you'll be prompted to input those numbers in the same order as you collected them. If you successfully input the right code, you will get a multiplayer that will give you a big amount of points on later stages. You have 8 jumps (tries) to launch the deviant at the numbers per stage, if you use all of them and you haven't pick all numbers you will get a game over screen. There is a bar with a vertical gradient of colors (yellow on the very top) on your right, inside it there is a little ball that goes up and down. This bar determines how far your deviant is going to travel. If you manage to launch the deviant when the ball is on the very short yellow section of the bar the deviant will perform a perfect jump reaching as far as the direction you were aiming allows him, this will also net you 500 points. When you achieve a perfect jump the whole bar will turn yellow. The key to be awarded the gold spaceship is to perform as many perfect jumps as you can. You need 120k points to get gold. My best score was under 118k even after collecting all stars and inputting all numbers in the right order each time. I didn't know what I was doing wrong until I closely payed attention and found out that launching the deviant when the little ball inside the bar was on the yellow section gave me 500 points (the game doesn't tell you this). After I knew this, my final score was 132k. What you need to do to obtain the desired score is to use all jumps and try to make them perfect jumps so that you'll get 500 extra points each time. On the first stages you will get 3 or 4 numbers, on later stages you will always get 5 numbers. Either memorize or write down the numbers in the order you collected them and input them in the same order when prompted so that you can have your score for completing a stage (1000 points) multiplied. Try to use as few jumps as possible to collect all stars and all numbers but one: leave one number to be collected with your last jump. This number is usually the one that is in a higher place than the others but due to the designs of some stages this number can sometimes be in a lower spot. Once there is only one number left in the stage, collect any remaining stars without collecting said number. If you already collected all stars, aim at a direction where you won't collect the last number and use all remaining jumps trying to get as many perfect jumps as you can. With your last jump, collect the only number left and any remaining stars that are in the same direction as that number so that you can get an all stars bonus. If you manage to make all your 8 jumps of single stage perfect jumps, you will have 4000 points added to your score in that stage. *It is important to get as many perfect jumps as possible in every stage. There are some stages where the stars are distributed in circular or irregular patterns or around a number that is isolated from the rest, or in places that can only be reached by bouncing on walls. In these cases try to collect as many stars as you can (all of them if possible). It's very likely that you won't be able to collect all stars in the last two stages but don't worry if this happens: if you managed to get enough perfect jumps in every stage while collecting as much stars as possible inputting all numbers in the correct sequence, you will have the required score for gold during the last stage. Neutron Nudger: The objective of this mini-game is to direct the energy stream onto all deviants and through all stars in each stage by using the deviators tools you are given in each stage while destroying all botz that spawn. Take in mind that once all deviants in a stage are in contact with the energy beam, they will be charged very quickly and the stage will be completed. Because of this your first task will be to direct the energy beam through all stars in the stage. Once all stars are shaking, you are good. Some stages have 2 or 3 deviants in them which means you'll necessarily have to direct the energy beam onto more than one deviant first, but as long as you direct the beam through all stars before it touches the last deviant you won't prematurely complete the stage. You are given a set amount of deviator tools per stage; you must use all of them in order to complete the stage. They appear on the right of the screen; you need to drag them to a desired position so that you can use them to redirect the energy beam. You can drag them back at where they were if you need to. There are three types of them: the deflector deviator (deflects the energy stream), the attractor deviator (bends the energy stream around it), and the splitter deviator (splits the energy beam in two). While trying to redirect the energy beam to complete the stages you must watch out for botz, they will spawn from tube-like structures. They will try to enter in contact with the energy beam and overload it, if they are successful they will explode damaging the energy sphere (health bar on the upper left side of your screen). If the sphere loses all its health, it's game over. You can get rid of the botz by tapping them on the touchscreen until you destroy them. Fortunately most stages will only have one tube-like structure spawning botz; only 3 of the 8 stages will have two spawning structures. In these stages where the botz spawn at two places, they spawn in sequence only a few seconds from each other. You must destroy them as soon as they spawn while working on redirecting the energy beam. If you don't destroy them right away, you may get three or more botz at the same time and maybe one or two will be where you can't see them. If this happens don't panic, just rotate the screen and destroy them quickly, it takes a few seconds for them to overload the energy beam, more than enough time to destroy them. Since this level isn't time limited, you can take your time to complete each stage. If you get stressed, pause the game and let the Vita go into sleep mode so that you can take a break. Just make sure there are no botz on the screen when you do so. The required score for earning the gold spaceship is 30k points. You get a full heath energy sphere bonus, 500 per deviants as long as the botz don't overload and explode reducing the health of the bar on the left of your screen. If you get full health bonus and collect all stars in all stages you'll have 32,500 points. You can miss a few stars in the last stage and still get gold. You shouldn't have any issues on the first three stages, they are easy and fast to complete. Stage 4 is a bit tricky, you only have 4 attractor deviators to complete it and botz spawn at 2 locations. You need to place the first two deviators a bit close to each other so that they can bend the energy beam in the opposite direction. After that you just need to find the right spot for the other two deviators so that the beam passes through all stars onto the only deviant in the stage. On stage 5 there are some mirrors on the walls on the path to the deviant. You need to direct the energy beam onto these mirrors so that they will deflect the energy beam thus allowing you to complete this stage. Use the available deviators in the following order: deflector, deflector, attractor, and splitter. Correctly place the first 3 deviators until the beam is deflected by the last mirror, then be very careful when placing the splitter deviator or you may miss two stars located between the last mirror and the deviant. Slightly readjust deviators positions until the beam pass through all stars. On stage 6 you must use the deflector deviator to redirect the energy beam in the opposite direction and through the hole located at the back of the beam origin. Once the beam is redirected through the hole it must pass through the star located there and hit the other side of the deflector deviator so that the beam will be deflected. After that you need to correctly place the splitter deviator on the deflected beam so that it can reach the two deviants of the stage while passing through the last star located in front of one of the deviants. Slightly readjust deviators positions if necessary. On stage 7 there are blocks with a keyhole in them that lower when they come into contact with the energy beam. The order in which the deviators must be place is the following: deflector, splitter, splitter, and attractor. Place the deflector first; it must redirect the beam at the group of keyhole blocks. The first splitter must be placed not far from the deflector, adjust the splitter so that one of the resulting beams can hit a lone keyhole block in the middle of a wall close to a star so it be can lowered revealing a hole where the beam needs to go through. The other resulting beam must hit a section of the group of keyhole blocks, once they lower this beam must go through the farthest star on the other side. The second splitter deviator must be placed on the other side of the wall containing the lowered keyhole block on the branch of the beam that passes through said hole, it must be placed very close to the star there so that one new branch of the beam can touch the deviant while the other can travel a long distance almost touching the only star that is not shaking. Carefully place the attractor deviator near the end of the other branch of the beam so that it goes through the remaining star and onto the last deviant. Slightly readjust the positions of all deviators if necessary. Remember to get rid of all botz that come from the two spawning locations, be careful since these locations are far from each other. On the last stage (stage 8), you need to place a splitter deviator first, one resulting beam must touch and lower the keyhole block nearby so that it will pass between two deviants that are a bit ahead. Next step is to place the deflector deviator so that the other resulting beam must go through a lone star and hit or slightly miss the closest star to the last (lone) deviant, I can't recall which one exactly. Now the trickiest part begins, you have to place the next two deviators in the right spot. What you need to do is place the attractor deviator very close to a point of the closest star to the last deviant, exactly overlapping a circle pattern on the floor. Now you must place the second splitter deviator between the other star next to the last deviant and the lone star in a way that the attractor deviator ahead will bend both resulting beams, one through the closest star to the deviant and onto this deviant, while the other will make a curve passing very close to the handle of the structure where the original beam comes from (but without touching it) and directly onto one of the two deviants near the beginning of the level and through the star in front of him. Now you must place the last attractor deviator close to the beam that passes between the two deviants at the beginning so that it will pass through the star in front on the remaining deviant and onto him. You will most likely have to readjust the positions of the first four deviators several times until you get the right setting. Remember to destroy the botz that spawn in two locations in this stage ASAP. If you collected all stars in the first 7 stages and almost all in the last stage, you will get gold when you complete the mini-game. *Check the pictures for reference. Stage 3: Spoiler Stage 4: Spoiler Stage 5: Spoiler Stage 6: Spoiler Stage 7: Spoiler Stage 8: Spoiler Destructor Constructor: Finally the last level, you'll need 45,000 points to receive the gold spaceship. This level is similar to Botz Invasion but instead of destroying botz the goal of this mini-game is to collect all 31 parts of the Antibot while preventing botz from stealing its parts or destroying it. The parts you need to collect are carried by small ships piloted by other deviants, to collect them you need to make use of the magnet you have at your disposal. You must then throw the part attached on the magnet at the right place of the antibot. You'll need to use the motion controls to find the right angle, once the place where the part belongs turns green, you can throw the part. Hold the R or L button to attract and attached the part and release the button to throw the part. You can also use the magnet to grab botz and throw them at other botz. There are four types of botz: your regular botz piloting a ship, the squids-like botz, bomber botz that will drop bombs on the antibot, and hammer botz that will steal antibot parts. Collect all stars that spawn in each stage, they either spawn on the antibot or are carried by other deviants flying around. Use the magnet to collect them. The game will tell you when there is a star outside your field of view. Unfortunately it looks like there isn't an all stars bonus. Throw away any bomb that you see on the antibot and try to destroy the bomber before it escapes through the portal. Don't allow hammer botz to steal parts, and avoid losing deviants to botz on ships. Get rid of any squid botz ASAP; rub the touchscreen if it gets filled with goo. You must grab botz on ships and throw them at the other enemy types ASAP (especially on bomber since they will escape if they manage to drop a bomb), doing this will give you 300 or 400 points. Avoid throwing antibot parts or bombs at botz; this will only give you 100 points. Before collecting all parts in a stage, wait until no more enemies spawn. If there is only one botz and no more of them spawn, grab that botz and throw them at the antibot, you will get 200 points by doing this. The only way to achieve gold is to collect all stars of each stage, to destroy all botz by throwing them into other botz as much as possible, and to collect all antibot parts (each one gives you 500 points). You will get 1000 points for completing each stage. You shouldn't have trouble earning gold here. Edited June 24, 2021 by Deceptrox
