Hey guys, with the help of Luffybuggy I've put together a full video on how to go about the platinum. 
It'll take you basically 2 playthroughs (Very short levels) 20 levels in total.

Yes, the trophy for completing the story.

Probably worth noting that you have infinite continues in the normal game mode. That technically means you still have infinite lives, but the challenge comes from the fact that you have to complete each individual level within 3 tries

Sounds like I could complete the game once on normal mode, then either do the stingy or collectible run with infinite lives if needed

You sure can! I’d suggest doing Stingy on your infinite lives playthrough as having limited items in your normal game puts you at a big disadvantage

What happens if you come in from the left side?  Could it be that the whole screen is too far over to the right, so the triggers have despawned?
