there's next to none recent players so it doesn't look like anyone wants to boost. i've tried making a session as well but no-one joined

The thing to do in that situation is keep moving the Session's start date until someone signs up.

Looks like there's been enough recent players in the last week that it won't be too much trouble getting someone to join a boosting session

 

Be careful when starting older games if the online trophies are going to bother you though as I see you only started playing this in the last week

thanks, I'll continue trying my luck with boosting sessions

You should be able to in due time find a boosting partner, for any of the F1 games. Including this one, I have now found people for sessions for 2011, 2012, 2015 etc.
