BLOOD MONEY There are whispers in the alleys of Lemoyne’s capital that Guido Martelli — right-hand man and underboss to the infamous Angelo Bronte — needs gunslingers of strong constitution. Martelli is seeking to recover a valuable commodity known as Capitale. Originally devised as a unique system of exchange for more sensitive business dealings away from the watchful eyes of the taxman, it's since ended up in the hands of nearly every lowlife across the five states. Now, Bronte and Martelli want it back — if you can find and return it, Martelli will reward you with access to more worthwhile criminal opportunities. Martelli is purely focused on results – entry into this world of more civilized crime requires nothing beyond a trusty sidearm and the willingness to use it, and no upfront investment is required. CRIMES AND OPPORTUNITIES Martelli has entrusted some of The West’s most reprehensible soldiers of fortune with leads on where you might find Capitale. Visiting these contacts will reveal an entirely new type of work known as Crimes. Crimes will range from cloak-and-dagger coach holdups to multi-stage robberies — including kidnapping, brutal debt collections, and more. Embark on Crimes either as a lone gun or with a full Posse of cutthroats alongside you. During each outing, keep a keen wit and search high and low for signs of Capitale to return to Guido Martelli — including from hidden chests or on the remains of those who’ve crossed your path. As you traverse the plains in Free Roam, you may hear of unlocked Homesteads and vulnerable Camps, ripe for the picking and begging to be relieved of a Capitale stash. Accumulating enough Capitale for Guido Martelli will reveal Opportunities. These are dispatched by Martelli in a scheme to stifle a rising Lemoyne senator who is disrupting Bronte operations throughout the region. Each Opportunity can reveal various approaches to the task at hand — listen into nearby conversations or look out for important targets to uncover new paths to completion and weaken this politician’s position by bringing each of the three Jewels of the West to Martelli. The first of three Opportunities is available on July 13, while two more will unveil themselves in time. THE QUICK DRAW CLUB The Quick Draw Club is a series of four distinct rapid-fire passes, arriving in consecutive installments over the coming months. Purchasing each membership entitles you to rewards, bonuses, and items to help live life on the fringe of the law — starting with Dutch’s outfit, The Redcliff. With each consecutive pass you purchase, you’ll earn additional perks and rewards for continuing the journey. Each pass will cost 25 Gold Bars, all of which you’ll earn back by completing the Pass’ 25 Ranks. As an added bonus, players who purchase all four passes will receive the upcoming Halloween Pass 2 for free. NEW CLOTHING, RETURNING PASS ITEMS, AND MORE In response to your feedback, the Skill and Satchel Pamphlets previously released via the Outlaw Pass — such as unlocking the ability to Fast Travel from a Wilderness Camp — will be placed on general sale at the Fence. Plus, over the coming weeks and months, some of the most stylish and oft-requested clothing items from Outlaw Passes No. 2 and No. 3 return for players who were unable to obtain them — including Outfits worn by the legendary members of the Van der Linde Gang like Marston’s outfit, The Clelland, Arthur’s Haraway outfit, the Dedham outfit worn by Bill Williamson, and Javier’s The Zapatero outfit. https://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/9k1o55a5475aka/earn-your-blood-money-across-a-series-of-daring-robberies Edited July 7, 2021 by ziggypossum EDIT

postofficebuddy
I wonder if this is going to have any new trophies. None of the previous updates have so I’m assuming not. I’m hoping they don’t patch out the method to get out of the map with this update. That’s one of the few things I still found interesting to do in the online. It’s kind of crazy how much stuff there is in the out of bounds area in this game.

I think a lot of people don’t like multiplayer trophies, or having to come back to a game they finished a long time ago just to clean up more trophies. And with a game like this whose trophies are notoriously grindy and tedious, I think the idea of more trophies is causing sphincters all across this website to tighten up in dreadful anticipation.

It's about having to back to a 3 year old game, make room for 200GB just to install the game again and then re-learn all the intricacies of Red Dead Online 3 years after it was introduced. I for one don't want to go back to Red Dead 2 unless it's for the single player.

I can find a million ways of challenging myself trophy-wise rather than going back to a grindy-full-of-microtransactions 3 year old game I didn't enjoy a single bit (the single player was awesome, on the other hand).

Did you take a look at my trophy list before you made this post? I invite you to "challenge yourself" to The Elder Scrolls Online and Persona 4 Arena before writing statements like that. I haven't played RDR2 in nearly 3 years and I dislike it when Rockstar drags me back in, the only thing that'd be challenging me is my wallet because whenever they put trophies into their online games they try to entice you into spending real money to finish them off. It has happened hundreds of times to me at this point and funnily enough it happened the last time GTA V got trophies. I guess in general there are elitist trophy hunters for all Rockstar games. I think that the person making the post thought that me asking for no more trophies on RDR2 didn't look at my trophies and assumed I was something else. I'm not someone who is afraid of any trophy challenge, I simply believe that bringing me back to games that get trophies years after I last played them is annoying. I don't have the game downloaded to any of my consoles and I certainly don't have any Red Dead Online money considering I spent my last amounts on the split bullet pamphlet when I did the online trophies.

Post of the day right here. Never played a minute of Red Dead in my life, and I can guess the trophy list for this new content would be purely tedious and grindy tasks like Shoot 200 Horses or Kick 1000 Rocks or whatever you do in the wild west. Maybe if Red Dead Online was developed by ArcSys for the PS3 there would actually be something to "challenge ourselves once in a while" with.
Potent_Delusions
LOL at "challenge yourself". The trophies wouldn't even be hard, they'd just be oriented around trying to get you to spend real money on the game. Even funnier when it's said to someone with the likes of P4A and ESO at 100%.

djb5f
Looks good, I’d welcome trophies. I finished all MP trophies but honestly had more of a single player experience doing them, collectibles, bounties, and such. Felt more like an open world single player experience than a multiplayer game with how I played. Enjoyable. If they are too tedious, so be it, no one is forced to complete it. It’s just a hobby folks. I have no intention to do the several of the tedious single player trophies (study every animal, etc.)
Popular Post KingGuy420
I will admit, I never should’ve come in this thread lol. My biggest pet peeve with the trophy hunting community is this unmitigated entitlement. Like “Who cares if there’s millions of people still playing this game that would love new content and trophies. “I’ve” moved on and “my” completion percentage, that doesn’t matter to anyone but me, demands no more trophies. Obviously the developers should base their choices on the people that have moved on, not the people still enjoying it.” I really gotta stop coming in these dlc threads. I’m starting to learn that they almost all devolve into this crap. Shame on me for clicking on a thread about something I’m actually interested in I guess >.<

People who moved on don't want trophies because it drags them back into it when the last time some of us played it was nearly 3 years ago. Trophy hunters literally less than 1% of the people playing RDO, most of them got their online trophies and moved on. I simply don't want to fund Rockstar's greed with their microtransactions when they decide to make things close to impossible to get without paying real money to get through it quicker.

People who moved on are moved on, nothing drags them back into anything apart from their own desire to get new trophies. If you moved on and don't want new content and its trophies, then don't go after them ? 20 hours ago, Sergen said: I simply don't want to fund Rockstar's greed with their microtransactions when they decide to make things close to impossible to get without paying real money to get through it quicker. LOLWUT? There isn't anything essential in RDO locked behind a real money paywall that makes it close to impossible to get. Well, technically you could buy your way with mtx to 5 horses and camp upgrades trophies really early on, but it is not close to impossible to make enough RDO cash for those purchases by the time your level 50 is unlocked. Actually, at level 50 it is close to impossible not to have enough in-game money for everything necessary trophy-wise (since it seems you care about trophies the most).
buckallmighty
Havnt played the online part of red dead 2 since they nerfed the gold payouts on the daily challenges. Only part of the update that intrests me is quick draw stuff. If the rewards are not just recycled outlaw pass rewards i may play along a bit. Couldnt care any less about them adding or not adding new trophies. Wish they would add more personal property options.
SpaceIsDandy
Damn you guys scared off the predator guess he didnt want the challenge of people calling him out. As far as the dlc it seems ok and all (in comparison to rest of rdo) but nothing short of a huuuge overhaul would get me to come back lol.
