Welcome to the A-Z NON Platinum Club!

 

Ever since i saw the A-Z Platinum Club 2.0 by @Winston, i thought that is a great idea and i joined it right away. A while ago the A-Z Platinum Title Club by @Matrim_Drasgen was released in addition to Winston's club and it is a great addition to show which games we play and share our accomplishments After that topic was created there were comments about another club for the great games that we play that don't have a and for that reason i decided to create it. The idea is the similar as in the two other clubs: get all trophies of a game that doesn't have a  and then come here and let everybody know what you achieved I know that recently fewer titles are released without a but we all know that there are excellent games, regardless of difficulty - or maybe not from your point of view - which deserve a place to gather

 

 

Please read the requirements for joining and afterward, submit your list in a post and you'll be added to the corresponding Tier for your well-earned achievement. After you have submitted your list, feel free to make any changes and updates to as you like. All I ask is when you submit a new post, just state you updated, that way it is easier to track you and your changes.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• No hacked/flagged games on your account. This is a clean Club.
• You need to have at least 5/27 entries on your profile to join the Club.
• A numbered title counts as necessary, a non english title counts as additional bonus.
  • Non-English means games that do NOT use the Latin/Roman alphabet letters. Use this link to start your search and ask any questions you may have.
• The game CAN'T have a
  • Games like Minecraft and Dead By Daylight have an additional trophy list without a - that additional list doesn't counts as it is an extension to a game that has one trophy list seperated by technical limits.
• You MUST earn all trophies of any game for it to count.
  • Games that have seperated trophy lists like Back to the Future Episode 1 to 5 are counted as one game as it's one story divided in 5 parts. Games like Assassin's Creed Chronicles China/India/Russia count as 3 different games as they have no story continuation.
• Use the PSNProfiles Game/Trophies list to decide the name of any game.
  • The first letter counts whichever it is!
• If you have 2 or more possible entries for a letter, you decide which one you want to be showcased on your Original Post.
• If any game has an UR completion rate (less than 5%, regardless of dlc trophy rarity) pls say so as it counts for a UR completion ranking
  • The date of your post determines the UR completion that's taken into account.
  • The game or latest dlc need to be 2 months old before it's considered UR for this club
• You need at least 30 posts on the forums. This club is looking for serious Trophy Hunters and dedicated PSNProfiles users.
  • This requirement is waived if you have Premium Membership status with PSNProfiles

1. Earn all 27 Categories to become a Shihan (Bonus: for UR)

3. Earn 16/27 Categories to become an Sensei (Bonus: for UR)
4. Earn 10/27 Categories to become an Senpai (Bonus: for UR)

I agree that it's an dwindling part of games (games without a ). More reasons to show what you have achieved

@DrBloodmoney impressive list, you're close to a complete list i checked the games you've marked as UR but neither Escape Plan or Hitman 2 count as there are no UR trophies and i wonder why you wrote that Firewatch is an UR title while it has around 17% completion? so i counted 8 UR games for you

 

@Arctic Cress Sportsfriends is an UR too you're the first one who gets the bonus for a non english title

Oh - haha - sorry Firewatch was obviously just a brain fart - I know that wasn't UR!

 

I misunderstood the premise with the other two - I was just looking at the percentage on my main page - I didn't realise it needed a specific UR trophy within the list to count - I'll edit my post the now!

OK, I have to dispute this, games that start with "The" should absolutely not be counted under T.  That flies in the face of how titles are alphabetized basically everywhere else.

As you see i was busy I have Yu-Gi-Oh Millennium Duels prepared for the last trophy to get very soon  and it's UR too  i am playing Z-Run too which will fit the last letter i need. Now to look for a game which fits the number category

 

I'm happy to see so many posts already. I've learned a lot about new and rare games thx to all your entries... I was most surprised to see Xeodrifter marked as UR while i knew i played the Vita EU version which isn't UR but the PS4 EU version is i know which game to download soon on my PS4 thx to @zajac9999

True. Well done mate. I do have an ace up my sleeve though: Dream C Club which fits the bonus category

 

It's quite impressive how many games you have completed which are written in non-english (all in japanese i assume) but one entry is enough

Thanks. I did consider putting it, maybe due to a bit of nostalgia. If RE4 gets a remake with a platinum, I'll swap it.

 

Edit: I thought I read only games with at least an UR trophy were allowed as UR. It actually says UR completion, so I'll swap RE4 for Risk of Rain and I'll see if other games can also be swapped.

Sorry @PhyrxianLibrarin but if a game is written as The Unfinished Swan it goes under "T". Otherwise it should be Unfinished Swan For the letter "U" i see Uncanny Valley so i pick that but "V" is empty for you.

Besides that neither Hitman nor King's Quest are accepted for the UR category as they don't have an UR trophy.

By my count it should be 9 games, not 8 (yes, doesn't change much, but helps me to keep tabs if I decide to go for more UR for the list..).

Besides that neither Hitman nor King's Quest are accepted for the UR category as they don't have an UR trophy.

 

A lot of non-platinum games like Hitman, King's Quest, etc. were released episodically; episode 1 is the "base" game, and future episodes were released as DLC. The total of all episodes comprises the "complete" game, and if that has under a 5% completion rate, I think that should count as ultra rare. No individual trophy shows up at UR because PSNP only counts people who actually downloaded the episodes. A person who downloaded episode 1 and ignored the rest would cause the other episode trophies to appear more common than they actually are.

 

Say 1000 people download episode 1, and 50 of them get the trophy for finishing it. That gives the trophy a percentage of 5%. Those same 50 people all download episode 2, and all 50 of them get the trophy for finishing it as well. PSNP would calculate the percentage for that trophy as 50/50 = 100%, not 50/1000 = 5%. But the completion percentage on the game itself would still be 5%!

 

TLDR: The overall completion rate is a more accurate measurement of whether a game without a platinum is ultra-rare or not. Using the same DLC rule as games with a platinum doesn't make any sense.
